Remove Collaborators Reduced Permission
Today, in order to remove a collaborator from a user's folder in Content Manager, you must have View/Edit Co-Admin permissions.
Request is for the ability to remove a collaborator on behalf of a user without need to have view rights to the content inside the folder.

Role configuration on group sharing
In Enterprise setting -> Content & Sharing -> Collaborating on Content Tab, you can configure which role to enable and the permission those roles gets. This setting only applies to individual collaborator but not Group. You can disable Co-owner in that setting but still see it available when doing folder sharing with group.
We assume that the setting above is a global thing and applies to both individual collaborators and groups, so we find it a little confusing.
Can you put an extra option like "Apply the same role setting to group" in "Collaborating on Content" tab to better demarcate…

Map AD groups to co-admin roles
Like many large companies, we use AD groups for privileged roles like reporting and team management. There is no current way to map these AD groups into co-admin roles and the Box admin must set these manually.
This does not scale and is a major admin overhead for IT departments to have multiple places to administer something as simple as being able to generate reports or edit metadata templates.
6 votesThis does sound like a huge burden for admins and I’d like to hear more about how you’d use existing AD groups to grant co-admin permissions. We are looking into extending our APIs to allow admins to set co-admin permissions, which may alleviate the pain of setting the permissions manually.
However, we don’t currently have any plans to take the AD groups and map them to co-admin permissions at this time.

Notify all collaborators who are affected by automatically disabled shared link
When shared links are expired, only the item owner is notified. "affected users" only include folder owner

Deletion specific reporting
A deletion specific reporting tool would help us locate deleted files that we don't know the owner or deleter of.

Checkbox default values on account deletion and content transfer process
On account deletion and content transfer process, currently, the default value is checked off for "Notify user" checkbox. We would like to be able to toggle the default value to unchecked checkboxes.

Allow admin exceptions to enterprise settings that restricts external link creation
We deal with sensitive financial information and would like the highest level of restriction.
However, we'd like to add an admin exception to restrictive settings.
For example, we'd like to have a zip file for a program that is accessible via open shared link owned by the admin account.

We are looking at different ways to ease the consolidation of different EIDs. However, this is unlikely to be approached from the perspective of changing branding options by groups.

Ability to clear out queued 'Silent Mode' messages that go out to customers
If silent mode is enabled and kept on for implementation period, and then turned off, it would send all those queued messages. We would like to clear out this queue in advance.

Inactive users are not listed when managing groups
When in the Admin Console and viewing groups, if I go to edit the membership list of a group, the list does not appear to display inactive users, but if I search for a user in the group it will display the user. However, if viewing the members of a group through the normal interface, it will display all members, even inactive ones.
This is potentially confusing as it means that the list of members a group admin would see will be different, and if they want to remove someone, they will not be able to just browse the list…
4 votesThank you for the feedback! IMO, we should not display inactive users in the groups as the group should keep a membership of all the active users. Thanks!

Have the ability to retroactively expire shared links.
If I understand correctly, the only way we can go back and fix this for existing folders is to create an application that does this through the API or send a request to end users to fix folders they own. Is that correct?
It might be helpful to include a functionality in the future that allows an Admin to reset that setting for existing folders in the environment.
