Extension of the number of versions limit when using Governance
We would like to be able to extend the maximum number of versions that can be set in the management console to about 2000-3000.
When we subscribe to Box Governance, we can choose to have unlimited versions of files or 1~100 versions.
We are currently using unlimited, but sometimes we find that files with many versions (e.g. restoring from the Recycle Bin) are slow.
Since each file version has its own ID and is tied to the original file, I believe this is possible due to the mechanism, not my imagination.Therefore, we would like to set an upper limit,…

Restrict eternal invites to admins only
I would like an option that would restrict external invites to admins only.

External Users Count + Quicker Updates
The External User count is inconsistent between the new view and the old view. It never shows the same total number of users. Additionally, this count can also be inconsistent between our admins never showing the same total.
We would like to see quicker real time updates. Data taking up to 24 hours to show here is concerning when we are managing external users in our environment.

Request the ability to suppress emails during user provisioning in Box
When a Box user is provisioned, an email is sent to the person's email address, but there are cases where many companies and organizations, not just us, are provisioning mailboxes at the same time. In this case, the mailbox provisioning is slower than Box provisioning is completed, so Box determines that the email is unknown and is entered on the deny list. To prevent this, I'd like to see a feature that doesn't send emails during user provisioning in Box.

I want to specify 1000 as the fixed value displayed in "File version limit"

Addition of the ability to enforce “file request” expiration dates.
Currently, users can set an expiration date at their discretion in “File Request”, but there is no function for the administrator to enforce the expiration date setting. In order to deter external attacks and to ensure more secure operations, it would be ideal to have a function that allows the expiration date to be enforced.

Admin permissions
Admin role and permissions should be able to correct a mistake When a collaborator is accidentally given the ownership of a folder. Also when the owner of folders and files leaves a company, the Admin should be able to reassign ownership.

Request:Unmanaged users Behaviour
There is a folder whose collaboration is allowed for only internal ( At folder settings, Restrict collaboratio within our company is checked )
One unmanaged user who uses company email domain but is associated with free box account is invited the folder, he/she is successfully invited. But auto expirtation for external collaborators ( which is set on enterprise settings) is also adopted to the user. This seems unnatrual and it is not reasonable.This is said by design, but could you consider improvng either 1 or 2 ?

Ability to export and import all settings in the tenant in JSON format, YAML format, etc
I would like to see a function that allows you to export and import all settings in the tenant in JSON format, YAML format, etc.
For example, when creating a sandbox environment with the same settings as the production environment, it is possible to modify only the environment-specific values on the export data and then import them, or it can be used as a backup of the tenant setting values themselves.

Ability to make an account READ-ONLY which includes Download restriction
For security purposes, we need to set accounts to READ-ONLY mode. Currently, Box offers four account status options: Active, Inactive, cannotdeleteedit, and cannotdeleteedit_upload.
Unfortunately, none of these statuses allow for a true read-only setting. The latter two statuses still permit downloading, which poses a risk of data exfiltration from Box. The Inactive status is also not suitable, as it prevents all collaborators from accessing shared content. We request the creation of a READ-ONLY status to address this need.2 votes -
Remove or Show a Different Box Admin Address to Enterprise Users
In the Account tab of the user Account Settings screen, users can scroll down & see our Box Admin service account e-mail address, which we need to keep invisible. (We certainly don't want users spamming it when we have a help desk.)
How can we either eliminate showing the Admin Contact here or show a different address? (This should be an Admin Console setting.)
This part of the product design does not show any regard for an enterprise with more than a few IT folks.

View suppression list
I should be able to view emails on my suppression list. I appreciate the ability to remove addresses from it myself, but not being able to see which email addresses you are blocking creates situations wherein I do not know someone isn't getting mail until after they have missed at least one message.

We want group administrators to edit tracking codes
Currently, tracking code information can only be accessed by Admins and Co-Admins with permission.
We wish it was possible to give group admins the ability to edit tracking codes.

Allow Standard Users to Access Reports
It should be possible to grant standard users the ability to run specific reports. It violates the "Principle of Least Privilege" (PoLP) to elevate a user to Co-Admin just for the same for running a report. Please extend privilege levels to allow standard users restricted access to designated reports.

Collaboration Delete
When a group is collaborated with, if you try to delete the collaboration, an error occurs and the group cannot be deleted.
This is because the group has more than the recommended number of members, 15,000.

Continuing misleading data in Box Admin console about exceeding storage limit and saying account upgrade is required
For several YEARS now users like me have reported continuing misleading data in Box Admin console about exceeding the storage limit for plans with storage limits. The data is not slightly off; it can be 10GB or 20GB too high.

Allow Admins to Recover Deleted Users Directly
Occasionally, Admins can delete a user (or large group of users) for one reason or another (license re-allocation, deleting users based off of perceived inactivity, etc.). Sometimes these users need to be recovered quickly to give users access to their Box account once again if this was done by mistake.
