1. Automate task creation on newly uploaded files.

   This is a multi-part request: I would like to be able to automate task creation and I would like to incorporate SLAs based on document tags/folders/etc.
   Basically, I would like a task to generate automatically based on set rules (identified assignee(s), SLAs e.g "Due Date = X min/hours/days in the future" based on x SLA)

5. When moving content, it would be nice to have the option to create and name a new folder that content can be moved into.

   Currently, when I move items to a new location, I either have to create the folder ahead of time, or move all of the items loosely, then create a folder, then moved copied/moved items into new folder. It would be nice if I would have the option to create and name a new folder during the move/copy process.

6. Add history to box drive search box as it is ussual in all good software!

   There is no history in box drive search box! Viewed/edited files are even missing in the last open files in word or excel! Why I must enter search criteria again and again? Hire an UX specialist to tell you what to do!

8. prevent file download to local drive for editor

   We would like to have the ability to prevent a user with editor access from being able to download the shared folder content.
   According to https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/13404788095507-Restrict-download-access, it seems not possible.

   Our goals are:
   - Allow them to create files/folder, and to edit them from within the Box drive.
   - Prevent them from downloading the files into their local drive and take it with them.

   As a security measure of data loss prevention.

9. Custom color change setting on individual files

   Just a simple custom color setting on files would be excellent. The standard purple that Box uses to display the file type really clashes with our branding. We are using the embed widget and turned off the Box logo which is really helpful, but when the audio file plays it shows up purple and does not look custom at all.

    1.Grab the email addresses from participants list in the invite
    2. Create a box note with the original details from the meeting invite (description, date..etc)
    3. Fill the box note with a template for taking notes during the meeting
    4. Use AI to create a 'suggested' meeting agenda based on the data gathered
    5. Invite the users from the participants list as collaborators to the box note
    6. Add the box note link to the meeting invite at the bottom (similar to a zoom meeting insert)
    7. Added bonus: have a button in zoom to capture their AI's summary / action items back into the box note

11. Better (or customizable) bandwidth limits for wedding media companies

    Better (or more customizable) monthly bandwidth limits and no transfer speed limitations. I run a wedding media company that does about 200TB of bandwidth/year. Coming from Dropbox, I think there is definitely a vacuum in the market for a cloud company to pick up their slack, especially for wedding producers...

12. Disable sending the Box sign declined notification email to all signers.

    When customer sign the document using Box sign and later when the internal user decline to sign due to some internal business process issues , do not send the Box sign declined notification email to customers.

15. Organizing Shared folders. Can't rely on collaborators to do it.

    It would be very helpful if I could move shared folders into a "folder" (choose your term for some thing that would mimic a folder) that would allow me to group all shared folders together. Ideally, I would be able to create my own hierarchy within that folder to be able to organize all of the shared folders how I want vs. just having every shared folder cluttering up my Box root level. I know I can use Collections, however, Collections don't show up in Box Drive.

16. Need multiple options for 2-factor authentication

    Please allow multiple options to receive a 2-factor authentication code. If I were to lose access to my cell phone or change the phone #, then I would be unable to receive a code via SMS and be locked out of Box.

    In addition, please ensure the options other than 2FA code via SMS actually are viable options. Right now, the authenticator option doesn't work - no QR code is generated by Box for me to scan with my phone. The e-mail option also doesn't work - I keep getting an error message that the default e-mail is invalid ... Box will only send a code to the default e-mail!

    Please allow multiple options to receive a 2-factor authentication code. If I were to lose access to my cell phone or change the phone #, then I would be unable to receive a code via SMS and be locked out of Box.

17. Show Affected File Details in Exported User Activity Report for Removed Collaborations

    When running a User Activity Report on Removed Collaborations, you are able to see the granular file name details on the Box website when selecting "View" and hovering over the affected user.

    Please include this in the report output that is exported when selecting "Run" as currently the report only shows "Parent Folder" which is misleading when restoring access as there are cases when the collaborator only had permission to a specific file inside the parent folder causing issues when restoring access for users that were offboarded and then onboarded again due to internal processes.

    This will also improve audit capabilities when internal stakeholders are requesting a report on what a terminated employee previously had access to, which the existing report does not showcase at all.

19. BoxDrive behavior of files with the “Browser Use Only” classification label

    We are considering setting up a "Browser Only" classification label for collaborative editing of Office applications to enforce download restrictions so that collaborative editing is only possible in the browser.
    However, when a user tries to open a file with the "Browser Only" label, the viewer and previewer will not be able to open the file because of the download restriction.
    Also, when opening BoxNote from BoxDrive, you will be redirected to the browser, but Office files must be opened by right-clicking on Box.com and previewing them, and when editing, you must perform online editing.

    (1) The basic specification of BoxDrive is that the existence of the contents in the invited folder itself is visible, but when you try to open it, if you do not have download privileges, you cannot download the cached data and cannot open it (editing or even previewing is not possible), but if you do not have download privileges, you can open the cached data in the browser. If you have the preview authority, can you take action such as automatically transitioning to the browser to preview the data?

    If it is difficult to change (1), could you add a function to filter files that cannot be opened from Box Drive (according to conditions such as permissions, labels, etc.)? We are concerned that this will cause confusion among users, lower utilization rates, and unnecessary inquiries, which will lower the efficiency of the entire organization.

    Officeアプリを共同編集するために、「ブラウザーのみ利用」の分類ラベルを設定し、ダウンロード制限をかけブラウザでのみ共同編集できるように強制する運用を検討しております。
    しかし、「ブラウザーのみ利用」のラベルが対がファイルをで開こうとした場合、ダウンロード制限がかかっているためビューアやプレビューアが開くことができない挙動となってしまいます。

    ②①の変更が難しい場合、Box Driveから開くことができないファイル(権限やラベル有無等の条件に応じて)はフィルタ表示させるような機能を追加いただけないでしょうか。BoxDrive上見えているのに、開くことができない運用はユーザの混乱を招き利用率が低下及び、無駄な問い合わせが生じ組織全体の効率が下がることを懸念しております。

20. Locating who/when files are Moved/Removed (accidentally or on purpose)

    If a user moves/renames/removes files, the URLs shouldn't simply be dead links now. Please record information so that impacted users know When the file was moved/removed, and WHO did the action.
    I recently had Box Notes and Folders get moved or removed. And while I know who SHOULD have been the owner of the content, anyone else having problems finding the content wouldn't know who to contact.
    So if a box link was previously valid, and that content has moved or removed, leaving some breadcrumb for the user, about who to contact, when the content was moved/removed, etc, can help users to find the content again.

    UPDATE: The owner moved the content, and changed the access list. So in the end, the URL Was still correct, but my access had been removed. Either way, other people having an access issue wouldn't have known who to contact.
