Custom 'Views' / 'Labels' to Organize Folders in Box
Request: provide the ability for end users to label or categorize folders in order to create different 'views' or 'workspaces' for their folders

Box currently offers Collections and Metadata on the web app. I would love to understand the gap between those two features and the user needs so that we can come up with a solution that will solve your problem.
(You can use custom metadata to "label" folders; these custom metadata are searchable in the search bar. Please bear in mind that there is some delay in indexing the metadata, so you will not be able to search the new metadata immediately.)

Collections option does not solve the need for multi-level custom folder structure that would be a big welcom for all useres I suppose.

It's a definite need, and my Box is now so unorganized that I can't find any information without searching on the search bar.

Yes, I agree. This would be a good idea. File names are not always clear and it would be practical to categorize folders.

This would be extremely helpful. I would call them folder "Nicknames" and then users could identify them. We have this exact same issue and it is a fundamental problem that should be addressed.

We need some way to organize shared folders, I have at least 5 folders with the same name the only way to find the one I am looking for is to open each one. We either need to be able to move them into folders, change the name, or add some sort of tag at least, none of these can be done if I do not have permission to the folder. These changes do not need to be shared with others on the folder just specific to my account.
