Dark Mode Option
I think it would be nice to be able to either turn on a Dark Mode when I'm in a browser at Box.com or, have an option to select a different background color.
Just one of those folk who have a time with bright white light ..

It is not currently prioritized in the near future. However, we are putting systems in place so that we can enable the dark mode in the future.

Please add support for Dark Mode - or at least a dark theme - in the browser.
Dark Mode is easier on the eyes, so most of software I use is already in Dark Mode or dark theme. As a result switching to the glaring Box screen is painful. -

Hi Box. You have a decent suite of web and OS applications, as they have a clean interface and are easy to use. But, as a programmer, and as a heavy computer user in general, it's my opinion you are falling behind the pack. A white screen is glaring. Most programs have the option to choose a dark theme now, including the other cloud service providers. They are taking your potential customers.

It is nearly 2024 and there is STILL no dark theme option. Does the Box admin think Box is the only resource offering their style of services?
What are you people doing over there?

Add a dark mode or a color selector. 10 year old flash games have you beat with color customization.

Listen to your users, this is an important feature. if you sum of the duplicate thread/suggestions related to dark mode or dark theme you get a better sense of how requested this feature is. Please put this into a release soon!!

This is the most necessary feature of all the features. I cannot stress how important this is. Someone mentioned "janky 3rd party colour inverters" which are great, except that I mostly use box to look at things that require my seeing colours as intended.

I don't know what category to put this in, because there isn't one called "sanity". I am currently staring at a white screen, which is killing me. Please fix this. If this is still "not on the roadmap" please advise so I can switch the company to a service that does have this feature.

Please add support for Dark Mode, this is a key accessibility and health feature. I'm glad this moved to be under consideration this February, and hope to see it included in your roadmap and released soon.

I agree. I reached out to support asking if they had this feature and they said they didn't but to suggest it. Its easier on the eyes and most of software I use is already in night mode so when I switch over to BOX it's ******* the eyes.

Dark mode reduces eye strain and makes it easier to use the computer screen. This is the primary reason Dark Mode should be implemented by Box. (Microsoft support Dark Mode with OneDrive, Teams & Windows and its much easier on the eyes)
