When can we get Collections function on Box Drive? Is there an alternative way to manage my thousands of folders in Box Drive?

This is crucial for the adoption of Box Drive. Collections really help organize folders for the end users and we cannot be telling them to go to the Web UI to do this.

It's been 2 years since someone requested this. Why is this not functional on Box Drive? Drop Box allows you to create folders that aren't shared and put shared folders into it so you can organize things in a meaningful way without messing up the names and structure of shared folders. It's impossible to keep all these disparate folders organized without the collection function.

They pointed to Collections as the solution, making this issue even more crucial. Without Collections on Box Drive, we cannot organize our home folders, meaning the Root Folder Organization issue isn't actually solved.

Currently collections data is not available in box drive. Can you add that in future version so that users content under collection folders will be visible.

Urgently need a way to publish collections to Box Drive.. Content sprawl is a nightmare in box (even with following all best practices) it is very difficult to manage.

Having collections published to Box Drive is a key requirement to assist our functional teams.

I completely support all other Box users who are asking for Box Collections or similar functionality to be made available in Box Drive. This is a must for Box to develop and implements. Please do consider the development of this solution as a must for the continued success of Box and its users.

Me too! Without the ability to hide a large number of folders I don't need to see, having Collections on Box Drive is a must What's taking so long?

I only want to see those folder relevant to me, similar to how box sync worked with syncing certain folders or maybe only the folders i have chosen to store locally

Box Drive is nearly unusable for me without having access to favorites or collections

Agreed! We are mostly users of Box Drive vs the web UI.

being able to create our Collections via web ui and making that view accessible on Box Drive would be amazing. it would allow for or users to be much more organized by default. as it currently stands Box Drive is overwhelming to our users as it provides a view of your entire Box account. Some have even mentioned liking how Box Sync allowed for you to decide what was synced to Desktop. Having an option within Box Drive to toggle views (All Files or Collections) would attract and thus adopt more users.

That would be great as is is a pain to have to switch all the time between Box WEB and BOX DRIVE. That feature should also be available in the Box for Office plugin.
