Add User Activity Reporting for Folder Settings Changes
Right now, there is no way to tell who is enabling or disabling notification settings by accident (rather than managing their own user level notifications).

Ability to see the list of status with optional feature from Admin Console.
We would like to be able to see the list of status with optional feature from Admin Console. Such as the following features:
- Accelerator
- Auto Rollin
- Custom term of service
- tracking code
- virus scan
- maximum file upload
- verified enterprise
- disable WebDAV

- IP whitelisting

Better Group Management and Deletion
When managing groups, I would expect to be able to sort by the Members, Folders and Created columns.
I would like to be able to delete more than one group at a time.
When deleting a group from page 3, it returns you to page 1 instead of the page you were on. This is extremely frustrating when you have dozens of groups to remove which are lower in the alphabet. It would be better if you could multiple select groups and delete them. It looks like you can multiple select today but the only options are to Add Folders…

Access Stats: Include IP information from report preview in report export
While previewing the Access Stats, IP information is shared. When we export the report, it doesn’t give that information anymore. We would like for the IP information from the Access Stats preview to be included in the exported report.

Add ethical walls to collaboration
We'd like to set up controls to prevent certain groups (like Investment Banking) from collaborating with users in a different group (Research).
8 votesThis is currently not planned. We are looking into restrictions that admins could set at this level, but there is nothing planned on the roadmap for this as of now.

Report to indicate what was changed when a user is edited
We use OKTA SSO for user provisioning and de-provisioning. However, we don't have a way to report on when a user's status changes from active to inactive, other than seeing the user was edited.
As it is now, when you run a report on "User Edits" it just tells you a user was edited, but does not indicate if it was an email address change, device pinning change, made inactive, etc. Looking for some more visibility on when users are edited.

Content Manager - allow all folder transfer for all folders owned by one person to another
Using the superadmin box account, I can transfer ownership by folder. This is nice when I want to transfer 1-2 folders, but when a person leaves the university and that person owns 17 different folders in Box, changing ownership is a very manual task. Keep the change ownership model (under Content Manager), but also have an option that allows me to transfer all folders owned by one person to another - be it 2 folders or 20 or 200. Please.

Provide granular error messages when creating a Chinese external account
Below is one of the error messages we get, and as you can see there are very vague messages. We have to spend time checking a few things before actually finding the reason for the errors. This takes up time which can be better spent on other issues.
Error: External email address <email> belongs to a company which already has Box. You may begin collaborating with the external user.

Add the ability to remove a group shared folder from group settings in admin console. This use to be available but seems to have been removed.

Provide Admin ability to manually approve every external collaboration
New client folder is created, Joe (Account Manager) wants to add external client (Bob) to the folder. He tries to collaborate in Bob (External Client) . Before Bob get’s access to the folder, a task is set for one of the Admin’s to approve the external collab in this folder.

The ability to display the number of seats (deleted users) recouped monthly
The ability to display the number of licenses recouped monthly and a total for the calendar year.

Ability to login as a Co-Admin to users' accounts
Would like the ability to login as a Co-Admin to users’ accounts, even if those users still have not reset their password, without getting prompted to reset the password for that user. The Primary Admin does not get prompted to reset users’ passwords upon instant login, even if the end user is still required to reset their own password.

Ability to block external invitations for collaboration
We don't want users accepting any external invites to external company shares but we want them to be able to share folders with any company. Basically, we only ever want to be the folder owner.
We have a rule that only we can create the folders and share them out but this sometimes is accidentally overlooked. In addition, Box does not have an option to "block outside collaborator invitations" only an option to completely turn off inbound/outbound sharing or white list domains.

Ability to hide the modified date in Content Explorer
We would like the ability to hide the ‘modified’ column in the Content Explorer UI, and display the name and size of the content only.

billing
It would be nice to have a role for billing administrator. Where the Billing Administrator would be able to manage subscriptions and credit card information but not the rest of the administrative settings.

Email to Box Change Disappointing
Box decided to remove email to folder options for less than business users, with supposed preservation of existing email to folder set ups. That didn't work. The existing email to folder broke, one of our critical business processes was subsequently broken.
1) I did not receive notice of this change
2) I can't even view what the existing email to folder email address is.
3) It's a poor move to remove a feature an existing customer has access to. Should have been grandfathered in.1 vote
