1. Removing files from a single page of a multi-page folder shows confusing message

   After deleting all items from one page (of multiple) of a Folder’s content, the page says “There are no items in this folder.”

   This is not accurate since there are other pages of content within the folder.

   Can this be changed as it can be confusing?

2. Filter folders by date modified when selecting "Move or Copy"

   Would like to have the ability to filter folders by date modified when selecting "Move or Copy." Currently files are organized by alpha and I have to scroll through files to find the one I recently created.

3. Prevent the easy deletion of root level folders

   We accidentally deleted a root level folder for millions of folders.

   This may be done by locking the folder, where it could allow users to create/edit/delete the contents within the folder, but not allowing the locked folder itself to be rename/moved/deleted.

   This may also help Box Sync (and possibly Box Drive) users, as many Box Sync users often delete the top level folders by accident.

4. custom url for embedded widgets.

   Hi there,
   I ran into a case today where I wanted to customize the URL shown in the embedded widget.
   Similar to how you can have a custom URL for a shared link, I was wondering if it's possible to have the same for the embed widget. note, not to be confused with the upload widget.

   I am not sure how it will play with the upload widget but it would be good if you can customize those too.

   Please let me know your thoughts.

8. wrap long file names in the main UI. restore old namewrap UI feature.

   I've noticed where other folks have suggested similar ideas and been told to use the BOX UI to create their own version. Not sure what the big deal is. we dont have programmers on staff but if you enlarge the font for a disabled person even short file names become too large to fit on the UI. I think even if long filenames is LOW probability, it occurs enuf to consider offering it. Practically every filename we have is too long so it drives us nuts. Video filenames are the worst because of a zillion versions. Can you imagine a unix system with a filename window like this. The naming convention allows for a gazillion characters but the window does not. Why make a window that doesn't follow the conventions of the protocols maximum abilities underneath.

   End users finally in this day and age can make as long a filenames as they want but now we can't read them without hovering over every last one. hover, hover, hover, no wait what was that one named, rehover again. its quite maddening at times.

   Please reconsider restoring the namewrap from the old UI as an OPTION people can use if the so choose. If they like to hover, let them hover otherwise let it wrap. Think like a NONprogrammer. Using the Box UI is no easier than telling me to rebuild my car engine and I dont even own a socket wrench. you already wrote the code once before, please restore it as an option.

9. Reduce amount of steps needed to create bookmarks in Box.

   Can be simplified with a simple context menu (e.g. right-click > create bookmark) and then either copy the bookmark or choose a destination.

11. "Virtual Documents" / Groupings of documents that together form one master document

    Box should have the ability to get documents together in a collection. This collection should then be versionable, regardless of the versions of the documents.

    Thinks a personal dossier. Some documents might update a couple of time, before I declare the whole dossier as a new version.

    Tools like documentum have a concept of virtual documents. My opinion to those implementation is that they are really bad from a user perspective. Therefore we should do it better.

12. Strip down and rebuild.

    I've been a user for years. It used to be easy and reliable. It is now a nonintuitive stupid mess. And it doesn't even work properly. I just tried to download a bunch of files, twice, and both times the zipped folder could not be opened.

13. Save draft email and addresses for Send Shared Link until sent

    I have a request to fix what I consider a flaw in the Box.com environment. When I share a file or folder, I sometimes decide to add restrictions after I have already put in all the email addresses and typed up a message. However, if I go to the restrictions page and then come back to the message page, ALL of my email addresses and the message I typed are GONE! In other words, I have to start all over again. Can this be changed so that you can toggle back and forth between the message page and the restrictions page without losing all your info every time? It’s very frustrating!

14. Update shared link expiration workflow is confusing

    The workflow to update the shared link expiration date on the mobile app is confusing and not intuitive.

    Here’s what I would have expected to happen:

    1. I get email in my inbox warning me that a file or folder that I own or collaborate on is expiring soon
    2. I click the link contained in the email
    3. I see a screen that gives me an option to extend the date or not
    4. I make an update or leave it as-is and confirm
    5. Done

    Instead here’s what actually happens

    1. I get email in my inbox warning me that a file or folder that I own or collaborate on is expiring soon
    2. I click the link contained in the email
    3. I am taken to a screen that shows me the item that’s about to expire with some icons at the bottom
    4. Since none of them intuitively suggest that one would take me to a screen where I can update the expiry, I click the … for more options
    5. I see a list of stuff that I can do, but none of them suggest to me that it will let me extend the expiry
    6. I click “file information” in the list because it seems most likely of any of the random choices
    7. At the bottom, I now notice – after attempting this workflow at least a dozen times from my phone – a button that says “sharing”
    8. Now I can get to the update expiry screen after 2 more clicks, and I have to take another action after that

15. Preview embedded videos in PDFs

    We have a team that wants to embed videos in PDFs and have that render using Box’s previewer in the browser. The target audience will only be able to view these files in the browser and not download them.

18. Filter search for "Files with all tags" when searching with tags

    Currently when you search for multiple tags you receive results for anything with any of those tags. It would be very helpful to be able to filter this result to something like "Only show files with all of these tags"

19. Add "Copy file" and "Copy shared link" to the horizontal bar in Box preview

    When I get shared links for which I want to reuse to create my own decks I have to download the file , make changes and upload it back. Would be convenient for the user to just "copy" the file because at that point they had download rights anyways

    When I get shared links and I want to share the file further its not clear to me that I could copy the same url and send it ahead. Some users end up downloading the file in order to share further which leads to data fragmentation

20. Shared With Me - Folder Management for Collaboration Folders

    We would like to have a "Shared with Me" folder for any folders we have been collaborated into.

    We continually get feature requests for Box to allow a way to organize content shared with me. For example, I'd like to create a "Shared with me" folder that all the content shared with me could be organized into.
    I envision this could happen in one of a few ways and there would need to be some determination how much control the end user has....

    Option 1:
    - Allow end users to check a setting that would create a folder called "Shared With Me". This would also move all folders that someone shared with me into the "Shared With Me" folder.

    Option 2:
    - Allow end users to manually move folders shared with them into a folder structure of their own design. For example I may create folders such as "Shared from Jim", "Shared from Carol", or "Shared by Andrew

    We would like to have a "Shared with Me" folder for any folders we have been collaborated into.
