Prevent BoxRelay from creating a new folder with the same name
When creating a folder in BoxRelay to store files, if a folder with the same name already exists, I want the files to be stored in the existing folder without creating a new folder.

Ability to include the name of the triggered file in the subject line when sending Relay notifications
We would like to be able to include the name of the triggered file in the subject line when sending Relay notifications.
We want to be able to easily check which file the notification is for when the user who received the notification receives the notification email.
When a user receives a notification email, I want to be able to easily check which file it is for.

Create automated Relay against multiple folders
Many times, there is a single automated workflow, e.g. from a file action or folder event, that actually applies across different folders in the structure.
Today, we can only select one folder for the workflow and therefore have to duplicate the workflow multiple times if we want it to work in different places. Then, if the workflows needs updating, then it has to be done in multiple places, which isn't the best place use of time.

Add Data to Workflow API
Add data to Workflow API to identify the status of a flow and each outcome step, when each outcome started (became ready) and completed, and the user who performed the outcome action.

Box sign automation with relay
After a Box Signer completes a document(i.e NDA), using relay having automation to add that signer as a collaborator to a folder. This would be a tremendous enhancement for anyone who uses Box as a data room or would like automation with Box Sign and Relay.

File request - Allow only Manage Users from an EID to upload via File Request
In file request, have the ability to state that only a managed user in the EID or an external user that has been invited to the folder can upload, no one else. By doing this, it prevents a file request link from being randomly guessed or found on the internet AND prevents a random user from uploading bad or malware/virus infected content. The current state of requiring the user to login is too generic and doesn't meet the requirement of keeping the file request locked down. Multiple Operators for Conditional Workflows in Relay
Currently Box Relay allows a single operator for numbers in conditional metadata workflows (ie if the 'Amount' field is less than 50,000). If there was a way to have a combination of these operators for a single condition based on a range (ie if the 'Amount' field is between 50,000 and 100,000 as opposed to just greater than, less than, equal to, etc), this would be very helpful for contract approval/review routing in Box Relay, among other use cases where there are different outcomes for different range of numbers based on a metadata field.

Box Relay - ability to share a folder to a group
In Box Relay it would be nice to be able to share a folder to a group and not only to users.
Entering all the members of the group one by one can be time consuming and over time the members of a group evolve, which means that the Box Relay settings have to be changed.12 votes -
Allow ownership of Relay workflow to groups
A customer has high turnover of admins for Relay workflows and requested an option where instead of transferring Relay to a new user or a service account that it be owned by a group for less overheard when an admin or owner of the Relay workflow leaves the company.

Modifying Relay AllowList that includes deleted users
If a user previously set in the Relay AllowList is deleted, the deleted user will remain in the list and the error "The specified login is inactive or invalid" happened when I try to save the list.
Even if I click "Save" without editing anything, same error occurs.It is not possible to export the user s of Relay AllowList, and there is no choice but to check each account one by one and deal with it, so I request improvement.

Ability to comment on Box Relay approval tasks
Currently, there is no function to enter comments when executing approval tasks using Box Relay.
We are currently using email and the Mention function, but this is inconvenient, so we would like to have the ability to enter comments at the time of approval or rejection.
Having a comment when approving or rejecting a task will help us communicate with users, so we would appreciate it if you could add this as a feature.

Ability to select the folder with the folder URL in relay
when select the folder in the relay workflow, can' t we select by the linkURL?

The option to cascade Relay triggers to subfolders for all triggers
Box needs to add the cascade option to all Relay triggers to catch activity in underlying subfolders. The legacy automations feature that Box had did this by default. Now, the alternative is having to create several relay workflows that is too cumbersome to manage and doesn't scale.

Use Box Relay to remove files from a folder using a wildcard like "*.PNG"
When emailing file attachments into a Box folder, Box also includes undesirable files such as logos, signature images, etc. The logo and related files are not consistently named so you cannot select a specific file to delete. Could you modify Box Relay so that users could delete these files in a named folder using the wildcard function i.e. .PNG?
So it would be Action=A File Action, Delete. Then the user would identify the folder where to delete and select a new option named "delete by file name". There the user would enter ".PNG" or something similar.1 vote -
Notifications from Box Relay aren't very useful without linking back to the file or folder
Relay is a great tool - but the Notifications aren't very useful. There is no way to link to the actual file or folder that is involved, so the user gets a very nebulous notification that is basically meaningless. Instead of being helpful, it could actually cause confusion for the user, if there are multiple activities happening at the same time.

Box Relay: Enable API's so that I can re-assign workflows and/or task ownership to another person at scale.
E.g. if someone is on holiday, sick, or leaves the company, we want to use API's to group together all of their existing workflows and/or tasks, and transfer those to a new person.

Signature logs should also be able to be specified as a trigger condition for Box Relay
Box Relay and Box Sign integration has been released, allowing for automation on signed files.
The current specifications do not allow automated processing targeting signature logs.
In our case, we would like to move not only the signed file but also the signature log to an arbitrary folder.
Therefore, we request that the signature log can also be specified as a trigger condition.
