  1. Allow folders to be uploaded with File Request

    File Request is a helpful feature, but often isn't useful as most external parties want to share folders (including sub folders) of documents with us. Can a feature be added to allow folders to be shared as part of File Request - perhaps renamed to Folder/File Request?

  3. Modify the default published Relay template

    There are some Relay templates that Box provides by default that are not available to our company.
    Therefore, we would like to control whether or not the default templates are published by tenants.
    Also, we would like to publish the templates that we have created as targets.
    Modify the default published template.

  4. Support multi-file for rejected task trigger in Relay

    Suppose you like to assign an approval task to a person with multiple files and when the task is rejected, you like to move the package of those “rejected” files to a different folder("Rejected folder) instead of having them sat in the triggered folder.

    For a single file, you can create the following workflow containing 2 flows and it works perfect as expected, however it doesn't work for multi-files...
    Flow 1: Trigger Manual start-> Outcome: Assign task -> When rejected, the flow is end
    Flow 2: Trigger Task -> Outcome: when the task is rejected, move the file to “Rejected…

  5. Improve Relay workflow search bar (end user view)

    Relay search is hard to use (cursor pointer disappears while typing)
    This happens only in end user panel, admin search is not affected

  6. Inserting metadata tags for subject line and message fields within Relay

    Within Relay, being able to dynamically populate the metadata fields within the email notifications.

    An example use case is for lease renewal. We have a metadata template for the leases. One of the metadata fields is property name. One of the steps in the workflow would be to assign a task to execute the lease renewal for a specific property which is triggered by lease renewal date. When setting up the notification for the lease execution task assignment, right now the subject line is very generic and would say Action Required: Execute Lease Renewal - as a better user experience…

  7. Relay lite: allow admin to change the workflow owner

    Box Relay creates a workflow (Folder creates a task that requests invoice processing and is used to manage outstanding tasks) that enables clerical employees to process invoices more efficiently. However, when the employee is transferred, the workflow that has been created is not transferred to the next person in charge. If a useful workflow can be managed as a company, not as an individual (Change the workflow owner for contact changes), it will be very useful for business efficiency.

  8. Change a specification of the PST time given when conflicting item's name on Box Relay.

    Currently, no matter what timezone users/enterprise set in its settings, the PST timestamp will be added to the item's name when conflicting name on Relay.

    The specification will be changed to add the date and time depending on the user/enterprise settings.

  10. Allow Folder Actions on "the folder of the file that triggered the flow"

    When trying to build dynamic workflows, you currently can work with and get a handle on either:

    • Folders can triggered the flow
    • Files that triggered the flow
    • Folders/Files created/copied from previous stages

    There are workflows, however, where you have a trigger on the file(s) but you want to move that entire folder to progress the flow.

    A "the folder of the file that triggered the flow" handle would be helpful in this scenario to allow you start a workflow, either through a file action or a manual start...assign tasks to that file and then be able to get a handle…

  12. Automatic email response for file request submitter

    Would like a feature whereby the person submitting files using Box File Request receives an automatic confirmation email with a customizable message. For example, after the submitter uploads files using the File Request web widget, that person gets a email to the effect of, "Thank you for contacting us. A team member will review your submittal and follow up within 24 hours." The person would be required to provide an email address but not required to have a Box account.   13. Add ability to set time for reminder notifications by each user or admin.

    Currently assignee will receive reminder notification 24 hours before the due date of the assigned task. Users are receiving these reminders at mid of night and they want to receive them in daytime.

    Box Relay can set the default due ("time to complete" option) like how many days and hours.
    This default due is set automatically based on when the task is started. So for many cases, the reminder will be sent out because the task is started in daytime.

    But non-Relay task (General and Approval task) can set only due date from calendar picker, like "June 16". The due…

  14. Copy file from relay should version the target, not create a new file

    We have a release workflow, where documents are being copied to a shared environment after they have been approved. This works well for the first version of the document.

    However, if we change the document and send it through the approval process again, Box creates a new document at the target area. Box does NOT create a new version of the existing document.

    Since this process is really key to creating "Quality Managed" documentation, Box relay should offer to version an existing document. Defaulting to creating a new document, makes Box unusable for these kind of approvals.

  15. Add ability to undo an Approval/Rejection

    This morning I accidentally clicked on the Approve button rather than the Reject button, allowing an incomplete document to be submitted for approval

    It would be nice if an approval or rejection could be undone. Perhaps within a short time frame.

  16. Add “Specify when started” option in “Send a notification” outcome

    There is an option “Specify when started” in “Assign a task” outcome. It would be convenient to have a similar option in “Send a notification” outcome, since the recipients might vary depending on who started the workflow.

  17. I have several reviewers that need independent approve/reject in parallel (simultaneously) rather than serially.

    We have 5 reviewers for a task, each having different elements they are responsible for reviewing. Currently we can require they each approve independently, however if one rejects the task is ended for all, regardless of whether they've reviewed it or not, approved it or not.

    We need 100% independent approve/reject

    I would like to be able to Move or Copy a group of files to multiple folders in one click. It seemed when you added the radio buttons, that might be possible to select multiple destinations. Alas no.

  20. Change File Request to accept emails that begin with a number

    File request currently flags an email that begins with a number as an invalid email and won't let the user continue with that email. Please update to accept emails that begin with a number.
