Allow Relay workflow steps to be reordered
Allow edits to re-order Relay steps after workflow is live.
For example, if there is a multi-step (5 person) approval needed on a document, and the team/individual who is currently set up to approve a document first now needs to be moved down to 2nd approver, it would be helpful to be able to reorder the steps without having to rebuild the workflow.

Notifications sent on a specific date through Relay
We have files that need to be moved/copied on a specific date. It would be helpful if it were possible to use relay or comment to send a notification that a file needs to be moved or copied when the date is reached.

Generate Shared Links as a Relay Outcome
Would like the ability to automate generating shared links on files within Box Relay as an outcome. One use case for this would be to create a process for generating external shared links. Many security-conscience customers don't want everyone to have the ability to shared content externally without some sort of approval or oversight. If we added generating and sharing shared links as an outcome in Relay we could build approval flows that would allow users to get approval to share a file externally even if they don't have the access do so.

Be able to specify a document or a shared link in “Send Notification” outcome
It would be convenient if the “Send Notification” outcome had an option to specify a document or a shared link in the notification body.
Right now it is only possible to input plain text.

Box Relay support for "move folders to different owners"
We are aware that Box has a recommended maximum number of items owned per owner (1 million items), and it is recommended to divide it into multiple owners if the number exceeds the limit.
Based on the above, our company, which owns more than 100 items, operates by dividing the data into multiple owners.
According to Box's recommendations, it's easy to assume that when you use Box, an action occurs that moves the owner to a different folder.
We strongly hope that this behavior will be supported even when using BoxRelay, because it would significantly reduce the convenience of BoxRelay…1 vote -
Allow reporting for workflow activity from a specified date rather then having to run the report on every single document
Allow reporting for workflow activity from a specified date rather then having to run the report on every single document. This would be extremely useful for tracking of how long it takes individual's to complete a task.

Dicom stack scroll improvements
uploaded dicoms do not scroll smoothly like on a image viewing software, this is very useful if we can sharing our results with collaborators.

When multiple folders/files with the same name are created (newly created/copied) on the same day using Box Relay's folder/file actions, the current specification makes it impossible to determine which item is the latest.

Create Custom File Request links
Currently, today, you can create a file request link, which generates a 32 character alphaumeric string. I'd like the ability to create a custom URL (like I can with shared links) to make it easier to promote my file request links to my stakeholders and make them more rememberable.
These custom file request links could have mandated security attached to them, either enforcing these to be only available to links set to "Require Uploaders to log in to Box" or (not available today in the product), enforce adding a password to access the custom file request link (see additional idea…

"apply workflow to all subfolders" should be an option for every trigger
When using the "manual start" trigger of a workflow you can check a box that will apply the workflow to all subfolders. This would be useful for all triggers.
Currently I need to create 10+ duplicate work flows that are exactly the same, but applied to separate folders.
I am unable to use the "manual start" trigger because the workflow is most efficiently start by an external collaborator - and Box does not enable external collaborators to start manual workflows15 votes -

File request link folder-level control
Enable file requests at a folder level to restrict internal-only folders vs. not. There are existing folder-level settings that can restrict external collaboration and what type of shared link can be crated, but the same ones don't exist for File Request links. It would be great to have the same feature parity between shared links and file request links when wanting to restrict access.

Allow variables for folder name creation
I need to create unique folder names as part of Folder Action outcome in Relay. This could be a simple as appending a date stamp or date/time stamp to the end of the predefined folder name, or use the file name that triggered the workflow as the folder name. Some options for creating discrete files names would be very helpful.

When copying or moving a file via Relay, allow the file to overwrite an existing file of the same name as a version.
If we have a locked down area for SOP type files, as the SOP is updated and approved, a Relay workflow moves the file into the published location. If the published file is the same name as an existing file, we would like to have the new file come in as a version of the prior file, not be named with the date-time stamp on it.

Instead of stalling/killing workflow when file to be moved is still open, pause and send notifications to close file
Workflows currently stall (=die) if a file is meant to be moved following a task assignment, where the assignee edits the file and "Marks as complete" without having closed the file's tab. This can happen quite commonly: a user is asked to input edits into a file, so they open the file in the relevant Office online app (eg Excel online), and when they're done editing, if they forget to close the Excel online tab in their browser before going back to the BOX preview tab where they click on "Mark as Complete", then the workflow stalls. Add “Do something after a certain period of time” option in outcome
Accessing to some of our manual documents is strictly managed and we would like to delete these documents which are not effective anymore after a certain period of time (e.g. 1 day, 1 week, custom lengths etc.). If Relay is capable of this, we can streamline other systems that are currently implemented.

Relay: Invite external user at Manual Workflow start
We have a manual start workflow where we want to collaborate a volunteer to a template folder where they need to fill out some forms and upload back to a Box folder. Relay does not seem to let the workflow starter enter the collaborator's email UNLESS they already exist as an external user.

Allow folders to be uploaded with File Request
File Request is a helpful feature, but often isn't useful as most external parties want to share folders (including sub folders) of documents with us. Can a feature be added to allow folders to be shared as part of File Request - perhaps renamed to Folder/File Request?

Relay: Extend Collaboration as an action
I would like to have "Extend Collaboration" as an option of "Action" in Relay.
This is useful when a certain project is longer than the expiration set in the whole account.
When it is known the finish date for that project, I would like to automatically extend the expiry date beforehand using Relay.2 votes
