  1. The Sharing Sidebar Needs an update

    The current Sidebar shows only 5 users who this folder has been shared with.
    As we are moving so fast throughout our day, we have to click on the option below to look for the other people it is being shared with.

    Having the ability to scroll on the side of the existing 5 users it's shared with and all the others will exponentially help to find and manoeuvring through the folder.

    For the end user to be able to create a table of contents report of a folder structure and share this report with others.

    Anyone who has access to the folder should be able to view the folder report and potentially update the report.

  3. Create the folder settings that allows only owners to create subfolders

    <We want you to add a feature to the folder settings that "only owners can create subfolders">
    By adding this feature, we can prohibit the creation of folders while granting invitation rights.
    This will prevent collaborators with co-owner and lower permissions from creating folders, which will prevent unnecessary subfolders from being created and will be easier to control.

  4. Post filter action on the collaborator management screen

    The following events occur when 100 or more people are invited to the folder.
    ・If you specify a domain and filter it, only 25 people will be displayed on one page.
    ・After transitioning to the next page, the applied filter function is cleared.

    It is hoped that it will operate as follows based on the above operation.
    ・We want to be able to display up to 100 people on one page even if I apply a filter
    ・We want to prevent the applied filter function from being cleared after moving to the next page.

  5. Add file count to Folder Properties

    Folder properties on browser based app should display the number of files in the folder. We use Box for photoshoot asset sharing while still in production (before moving to our DAM) and it's really a pain to verify file count.

    While access to the # of previews, edits, and downloads is great, it would be super awesome to be able to access the # of favorites a file or folder has received. This would give the opportunity to show deeper engagement of a file or folder.

  8. Box for Outlook (app) - Insert link at character

    The Box for Outlook app (deployed through Microsoft 365 admin centre - not as part of Box for Office), inserts links as an image and file name at the bottom of the email that is being created.

    This is an awful user experience for recipients. It would be better to insert links in the same way as the Box for Office Outlook add-in works. This allows putting a link at the character point.

    Customers want to have the ability for a user to see and manage a dashboard of all the shared links they own. Admins should be able to get a global view within the tenant. The dashboard should show if a link is public or has an expiration date and allow the user to modify it as such.

  16. We would like Box to have a secure calendar available for office use.

    We would love if Box had their own calendar available for office use. I work for a mobile anesthesiologist. We use Box to store patient info/files. Right now we use Google calendar for scheduling purposes, but can't put any patient information on it, as it's not secure. It would be great if Box had a secure calendar that we can use for scheduling. Mostly we would like if we can copy a patient's file to the day they are scheduled, so all of the info the doctor needs for the day is all in one place.

  17. Specify a dynamic port for "OAuth 2.0 Redirect URI”

    Following the "LoopbackInterfaceRedirection" specification described in "RFC 8252 OAuth 2.0 for Native Apps", I would like to configure Box to receive the authentication code on an unused free port on Windows and send it to the Box custom app configuration screen (https://app .box.).
    However, it is not possible to specify a dynamic port for the "OAuth 2.0 Redirect URI" in the Box custom app configuration screen (developers/console/app/xxxx/configuration).
    I would like you to specify the dynamic port as per the specification of "LoopbackInterfaceRedirection" described in "RFC 8252 OAuth 2.0 for Native Apps".

  18. Enhance Box for Gmail attachments, to show recent files.

    When attaching a file I just worked on, I often need to click through five or more pages of alpha-sorted folders to find the file I want. Recents don't always populate as I would expect. Could we have a toggle for the folder view to sort by Recents OR Alphabetical, especially in Favorites? Or make the default sort by most recent first for all views?

  20. Embedded Widget Video or Link Video

    For Videos that are Tagged for View Only (Embedded or Link) types... Remove the Log in and Sign Up options on the Top Right of the Video Player. My goal is to eliminate the possible Move away from my Web Page that is presenting the Video so that I can take full advantage of my Visitor's presence.
