Permit template users to send a document to themselves for signature
I have a Box Sign template, and I am one of the ones who needs to sign the document. This isn't possible at present -- a document made from a template can only be sent to someone else (see Case #2952790).

Change/correct signer email address after signing has begun (another signer already signed))
Just discovered an issue on box sign. I try to revise the email to correct it but then it tells me it can't be changed because at least one other person has already signed. We need to be able to make corrections to the senders if the email bounces without having to start all over.

Ability to view and download the document after you sign it, but before all signatories have signed the document
Currently, in box signing, if you are one of the signatories assigned in box signing, after you sign the document, you cannot view and download the document until all signatories have signed the document,
Sometimes, it is desirable to review the file again after signing the document, but it is impossible to view or download the document until all signatures are complete.

Add input fields to Sign Request creation (API)
For Sign Request creation API, add input fields.
In GET sign template the response already has inputs with positions https://developer.box.com/reference/resources/sign-template/#response-example
We generate our own PDF documents programmatically and can extract position of any element, especially the signature input fields. For us it would be very convenient to be able to provide information about signature position, coordinate (exact and/or relative), page size, metadata such as id and/or label, type, etc.
This way the signature creation process can be automated completely.

Notification if Box Sign request hasn't been completed
If a Box Sign request has been sent out, but not completed withing eg 2 weeks, it would be great to have an active notification about that.

Clickable link in BoxSign message
Inside Boxsign view detail windows, the message formatted in plain text, that resulted the url cannot be click directly from that window, need to copy and paste to new window.

Box Sign - Add Witness
DocuSign has the ability to have the document witnessed. This allows the person signing the document to invite a second person who can view the document and record their name, email address, occupation, and physical address. The witnesses information is then recorded on a separate 'summary' page. Our attorney's have requested this feature in Box sign.

Change primary email address but not login user
We are a large University with affiliate organizations leveraging our Box service. These affiliate organizations do not use the University primary email address domain.
Specifically for BoxSign, we would like be able to change some users' primary email address to their linked email address WITHOUT changing their email address used for login into Box (because they have to use SSO and 2FA).Would you be able to implement a fix or workaround for this scenario? Thank you.

Re-usable signatory groups on Templates
It would be great to have a Template feature in Box Sign where we can set groups of people as signatories.
Now we can only upload a document and save it as a template to send out multiple times to different recipients for signature.
However a lot of industries (e.g. movie/filmmaking) would rather send same type of documents (e.g. petty cash form / contract / purchase order / time sheets / etc.) to the same group of people for signing.
For that purpose it would be way easier to upload the specific files, click a template and the previously added…2 votes -
Change Color of Template Field Text
Documents with background colors other than white make seeing the text in templates impossible. Require the option to change the template field text color to other than black only.

Payment Pop-up window directly in Box Sign after contract is signed to pay for that contract
Developing a similar payment pop-up window that Docusign has where once a customer signs a contract in Docusign they're then able to to pay for that contract as well directly in Box Sign. I think this could be very beneficial for our clients and make their transactional business much more seamless with their own clients.

Box Sign - Fields are tall and wide and need to be resized.
It's time consuming to have to resize the Signature field and Date field. The initial field is too tall for most signature spots and the Date fields are too wide. After a person signs, the signature box covers other words if not resized before. Could the default size of the fields be adjusted?

Support custom / personalized email messages for individual recipients
We would like to have the ability to send private messages to individual recipients as DocuSign does

Box Sign: Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA)
Box Sign: Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) via integration with LexisNexis for Box Sign.
IRS requires knowledge based authentication to verify the identity of the person who is signing (confirm social security #, etc. )
DocuSign doesn't offer this unless you request it and pay extra. Box Sign could require that customers pay extra for this too.
Mortgage, banking, finance companies require this.
5% of all of my customer's signatures require using KBA.

Request corrections from a signer / Duplicate Request
I want to request a signer correct the information given on a form without having to create a completely new form (due to the document being signed). It's frustrating having to create and resend a form because one person has mistakenly inputted information with a typo. It's difficult to get signatures from people to start with, and it's even harder getting them to resign documents because someone else made a mistake.
Ideally, we could review the form, and request an update to a specific field and have the correction reflected in the document log for audit purposes.

Let sender sign documents created with Ready-Sign Links
Ready-sign links are a great feature, but we need the ability for senders be able to also sign a document that is created with a Ready-Sign link.
For example, if I have a Mutual NDA setup in a Ready-Sign link, I want others to be able to quickly sign this. BUT I also need to sign it myself as the sender.
This would ideally be accomplished by letting me "sign" the document at the time I create it. Or alternatively when someone signs the NDA at the Ready-Sign link, then I am emailed a notification that is ready for me…
