Function to erase gridlines in Excel files when using BoxSign
We usually hide the gridlines of Excel files.
However, when we sign an Excel file using BoxSign, the gridlines is displayed in the PDF file.
Since the display of gridlines makes it difficult to understand the display of materials and affects business, we would like you to be able to erase the gridlines of Excel files even when using BoxSign.【BoxSign利用時にExcelファイルの罫線を消す機能】
11 votes -
Doc visibility - Select which recipients receive which documents
When sending a Box Sign request that includes more than one document there should be an option to decide which recipients can see / receive each document. So for example you could send two documents in the same request where there are signatories who have to sign both docs, but also those who would only sign one and therefore only see or receive the one they need to sign.

Ability to fix/default country code when requesting two-factor authentication
When BoxSign requires two-factor authentication, there is a dropdown to select our country code.
I would like a function to fix the country code to save the trouble of selecting from the pulldown each time.1 vote -

Using Box Sign for forms
It would be helpful to leverage Box Sign to fill out forms. Currently, Box Sign does not allow for the Sign process to proceed unless a signature field is dropped into the document. We have a scenario where we wanted to have someone fill out text fields with various information as a step before a signature is placed. Perhaps a separate feature called Box Forms which allows those fields to be dropped in and populated onto a document before it gets to Sign?

Prepare documents for signature within the embedded signing experience
My prospect is a software company for freight, shipping & analytics looking to revamp their doc management and eSign process. They have a high volume of docs, like rate confirmations letters, that need to be sent from brokers to carriers for signature. We have run into a technical gap that Box Platform + Box Sign do not have an API for doc prep in an iFrame. Doc Prep URL as it stands today cannot be embedded. Prospect does not want brokers to go outside of portal to a Box URL window.

Add specific users as approvers
To be able to manage Box Signs created within a tenant, I want to ensure that a specific user is always added as an approver to the Signs created by users in the target group.
For example, in the Enterprise settings, if you specify a specific user for each group, when a user in the group creates a BoxSign, I would like to have the specified user automatically added to the approver field.in Japanese
1 vote -

Add "Date Received" field to My Requests for Box Sign
Showcase a field in Box Sign when a Box Sign request was received and not just when the document was initially sent.
The current fields are: "Title", "Sent", "Last Updated", "Status"
Ideal state would be: "Title", "Sent", "Received", "Last Updated", "Status"

Ability to apply Box Sign template to document that is generated from another system of record to execute for signature
Currently a document is generated from a system of record pre-filled with fields such as customer name, date, claim number, etc. Within DocuSign, you have the ability to apply a template to the document so that the signer fills out the remaining fields and signs the document.

sign template versioning
The ability to version control Box Sign Templates. Within the life science space you have to be able to prove that a form that was filled in and signed used the latest version of the form at the time of signature.

People who reassign should still receive emails about that document
My workflow requires me to send documents on to agents, who review documents before sending on to their clients to sign (via 'reassign').
After reassigning, the agent no longer receives information about the document. This seems counterintuitive, and isn't in line with other online document signature services. I can't think of a reason why you would need to be removed from the email chain like this. If you no longer need to know about the document, you can simply ignore the final email about its completion, but if you do, currently you would have to rely on someone still in…

Avoid signed document shared link expiration notifications on internal-only sign requests
Whenever a document sent via Box Sign is completed, all recipients receive an email containing a shared link to the document. This shared link expires 2 weeks later, generating a "this link is about to expire" for all of the same recipients. These notifications can be annoying, and moreover don't clearly state that it is a signed document link that is expiring (it is just a generic notification).
Our company often sends documents for signature between internal recipients only, who can always access their documents by logging into Box and finding them in the My Requests section (or in their…

Increase the maximum number of signatories per document, which is 35.
"Project documents can have more than 35 signatories as these include representatives, endorsers and approvers from multiple business units.
Use Case: Finance has multiple departments: Revenue, Payables, Management, Accounting but we have 5 companies so that’s 35 and each head of the department. Needs a signature from everyone and not an approval. This is a project requirement."

Rearranging the signing order even after a signer signed the document.
If you send a document for signature and then click to revise it, you can add additional people but you cannot change the signature order.
Use Case: What if I add many signatories and I forgot to add someone or I added someone in the wrong order. I want the ability to revise the order after sending the document for signature.

Make the signature font bolder or darker
Change the font to bolder or darker for the signature options. Some are very light. In addition, remove the red ink option. Some financial institutions do not accept signatures in red ink.

Box Sign: Provide more guidance to signers without fields assigned
Box Sign is not intuitive enough on how to sign. One client reports: "OK, finally got it. I wasn’t dragging the box onto the document." I had to tell them they had to click and drag the Signature button over to the signature line of the contract. Can you please make more clear instructions embedded into the sign request?

Ready-Sign-Links Creating New User w/ SSO and auto roll-in enabled
We used Box Sign Ready Sign link to confirm completion of an HR course. The link triggered the signer to authorize through their SSO (Okta) and create a Box account because they have auto roll-in enabled. We only noticed this because of a huge spike in overages one week. The immediate fix is turning off auto roll-in but that's not good for obvious reasons. TL/DR: Using Ready Sign Links, with an SSO, with Auto Roll-In enabled, will cause cause a spike in overage.
