Airtable
Security, sustainability, traceability and file management headaches would be significantly reduced if a file existed in one place, under a single corporate entity, with a single set of permissions and shared across integrations.
It would be awesome if a file in Box could be published into an Airtable attachment field in an airtable record without copying it into the Airtable tenant and consuming storage.

Allow Co-Authoring to dynamically check document sync status
Currently, if an Office document is opened before being synced to Box, the Co-Authoring features are unavailable. The document must be closed and re-opened to refresh the sync status.
It would be good if the document could check it's sync status periodically while open and adapt on the fly.Seamless integration as Microsoft Teams collaboration

Changing Microsoft label (Sensitivity) in Office after enabling Co-Authoring
After we enabled Co-Authoring, we are not able to change the Microsoft label (Sensitivity) when we open the document e.g. in Word because it is greyed out in Office and Box takes it from the Office file. It would be great if the possibility of changing the Microsoft label (Sensitivity) was enabled.

When posting a shared link generated from Box onto Teams, the thumbnail display is slow.
When sharing a link from Box on Teams, there is approximately a 7-second delay before the thumbnail is displayed.
Improve the functionality to allow posting without waiting for the thumbnail to display. Currently, if a post is made without waiting for the thumbnail, it does not showing up.
To prevent posts without thumbnails, the following options are requested:
Implement a control mechanism that grays out the “post button” until the thumbnail is displayed, preventing the ability to post without a thumbnail.
Enhance the functionality to retroactively after posting, even if it was done without waiting for the thumbnail to appear.

Auto "Add Box to this Chat" in Teams
With Box for MS Teams, you can use an App Setup Policy in Teams so the Box app always shows under your chat box so you can easily find it. With that, if you select it and choose one of the options for Upload or Share, you are then prompted to "Add Box to this Chat".
Can that just be automatically added to all chats and channels?

Can't insert video from the file in PowerPoint Online in Box
It is currently impossible to insert a video from the local file in PowerPoint Online via Box.
The only options are "Insert from stock video" and "Insert online video".
However, this feature is present in native Microsoft 365 PowerPoint Online in SharePoint/OneDrive.The feature set in Office Online apps should be the same in Box and MS. Otherwise, MS Office Online in Box can't completely replace SharePoint.

Increase iWork integration 1GB limit
The limitation of the iWork integration supporting files up to 1 GB in size is a blocker for customers working on larger files. Increasing this limit would be very helpful to keep collaboration in Box.

Box for Slack integration does not trigger a notification for uploads
Box for Slack integration currently does not notify when files are uploaded to a folder. Please add this functionality to allow users to be notified whenever a file is uploaded.

Automatic deletion of Teams linked folders
I would like to see a specification that when Teams V2 linkage is done, the folders are automatically deleted along with the team deletion, or all access rights are removed, except for certain accounts.

Enable AutoCAD Drawing History Comparison
Our company is considering moving our AutoCAD files over to Box.com. We put some files on Box as a test run and AutoCAD's Drawing History feature allows us to see the version history of those files. However, there is a tool that is supposed to allow for you to click on that list of past versions and compare one to another but that feature isn't working currently, even though it works on other cloud services like one drive. Google Workspace - Add Collaborators/Check for Collaborators
The Google Workspace add-on only allows you to create a Shared Link to share files/folders, you cannot add/remove collaborators. It would be great to have the ability to add folks as collaborators, rather than just choosing from Shared Link settings. Additionally, it would be great if when sharing the file it could be recognized that recipients on the email and/or calendar invite do not have existing permissions to the file/folder (similar to what Google does.)

Box for Salesforce - Setting to choose auto-collab permission
We want the collaborating to be more restrictive, i.e., we don't want users to be able to delete content. Right now we have to customize that interaction.
One way is to add a setting that, rather than auto collaborating a user from SF, the SF Admin can choose the permission level to auto collab Users (for example as a viewer or viewer uploader)

Relaxed limit on the number of contents linked to Teams
The limit of 1,000,000 items per owner is quickly exceeded by companies with tens of thousands of users. Therefore, we would like the upper limit of the number of contents for folders linked to Teams to be raised, or for owners and folders to be divided automatically so that the 1,000,000 item limit is not violated.
