Identify ALL 'Tags' used across enterprise instance
Currently, you can search by Tags but only if you know the specific Tag label/name.
Problem is, you may not necessarily know all the Tags users within your organization are using.
Additionally, there is no standard report to which can export a list of all Folders and Files that have Tags.•Foremost, it would be nice to have a way of identifying all tags used across your organization.
•If possible, if can offer a standard report similar to Files and Folders report that indicates Tags associated to them other than using the Search or API.6 votes -
Allow download of all search result content (files/folders) in one zip file
Currently checkbox only allows selection of 20 results on screen for download

change lock default
Allow users to change the default Lock settings. Instead of Unlimited, they should be able to change the default.

Allow the Copy to also include file history
There are times when making a copy of a file should allow version history to be captured as well. Point in Time copies can help with legal matters, and having the version history can help us understand when changes were made, what changes were made and by whom. This shouldn't be on a move ONLY feature but also a copy feature/option.

Drag and Drop between two browser tabs of the Box Webapp
Allow drag and drop of files and folders from the Box Webapp on one browser tab to the Box Webapp in another browser tab. We often need to search through a large list of project related files to find the place we would like to store information that was created in multiple task related folders. We want to be able to open a task related folder on one tab and the project folder on another tab and then just drag and drop between the tabs. Subdomain of shared folder should match folder owner
There is a difference in the URL that is actually displayed to collaborators.
The custom sub domain of the tenant to which user A belongs is “aaa.app.box.com“.
The custom subdomain of the tenant to which user B belongs is “bbb.app.box.com“.User B was invited as a collaborator to a folder owned by user A.
The URL of the file placed in that folder is
User A will see “aaa.app.box.com/file/67022264912“.

Allow folder owners the option to whitelist access by IP address

clearer highlighting needed when selecting a file on webapp
This is a request on how to display/express "Selected file(s)".
In the current specification, selected files glow blue(List View) or is surrounded by a blue border(Grid View).
There were opinions from some users that these expression is hard to see and difficult to distinguish.Opportunities to utilize Box are increasing and they are being used in various places, by various people.
For use in extremely bright/dark places, and for people with sight problems, please improve the way of expression.

Force Embed Video quality to 1080p
Videos hosted through embed widgets links start in "Auto" video quality as default.

Groups visibility for end users

Disable preview mode when opening Office 365 files
Preview mode is an extra step that is confusing our technically challenged and upper management. Believe it or not, they come across this roadblock (as it is perceived) and get turned off by Box, thereby defaulting back to opening locally.

Move "Log in" green banner when viewing shared link while not signed into Box
If you view a shared link while you're not signed into Box, you'll see a green banner at the top: "Log in to Box to securely share, edit, and collaborate on files in real-time with other people." The banner blocks the "Download" button on the right. While there is an X to close the banner, there are two issues:
1) Less tech-savvy people don't know to close the banner and can't figure out how to download
2) Others may think you need a Box account in order to access the contentIt would be helpful to either move the banner…

Show "editing" or "active" icon next to the filename in file list
Similar to "lock" icon displayed next to the filename, display editing or active icon when someone is touching or editing the file.
This may be similar feature as file "presence" feature, but the user would be able to figure it out from the list of files.6 votes -

Thanks for the suggestion! We don’t currently plan to increase this limit given the potential performance impact this would have on page load times. We are, however, looking into alternate solutions for pagination.

Drag & Drop Uploads to subfolders, not just current folder
In legacy UI, you could drag & drop to either the current folder OR one of the sub-folders of the current folder by hovering over it.
In Amsterdam, drag and drop is only supported for the CURRENT folder, not the subfolders.
This request is to bring back drag and drop to subfolders in the Amsterdam UI.
