Box Shield: export Anomalous content download section of a Shield Alert to pdf
It would be helpful for an option to save an expanded view of "Anomalous content downloaded" section of a Box Shield Alert to pdf or clipboard.
When alerting/notifying the line managers of Target user's anomalous downloads, we always include screenshot of this section of the alert in the standard email that we send them

Add Shield alert filter by DATA RESIDENCY ZONE
Dashboard should have a filter to select from all the Data Residency Zones used in the Enterprise's user accounts, so that the alerts can be filtered by DRZ, enabling co-authors from across the world to filter to show only those that they need to manage.
The DRZ for an alert is the DRZ associated with the Target user's Box account

In Box Shield, there is a case where it is not possible to mark a file as safe.
Currently, when the “Malicious Content” setting in Box Shield is disabled in the owner’s tenant but enabled in the tenant of the user performing the action, if content is detected as malicious, the detected file does not appear on the owner’s dashboard and cannot be marked as safe. As a result, the corresponding alert cannot be cleared, which leads to a situation where the file cannot be used in Box. If the file needs to be used, it must be exchanged outside of Box. We would like to request a feature enhancement to address this.
1 vote -
Box Shield label error notification
When there is an error to labelling Box Shield label there is no way for the user to know where there was an error or not unless looking at each content one by one.
I would like to have a notification or some kind of alert to know if there is an error4 votes -
Add Integration by App ID/Client ID for Shield Access Policy Integration Restriction
When creating a Security Rule for a Shield Access Policy, when setting an Integration Restriction, you can only add the integration by name, and not by client ID or app ID. We have many apps with similar names, so using the client ID or app ID would help us restrict the correct app.

Geo Restricts for External Collaborators
Implement a Shield Geo-fencing control that would disable access to Box folders for External Collabs when they try to access Box content from abroad.

Sheild > [Download and Print Restriction], if "For Box Desktop" is enabled, the Office co-editing function should be available via a browser
Sheild > [Download and Print Restriction], if "For Box Desktop" is enabled, the Office co-editing function should be available via a browser.
We have applied Box Shield's [Download and Print Restriction] to "For Box Desktop" and [Microsoft Office Coauthoring Basics] via browser is also disabled.
Microsoft Office Coauthoring Basics] via a browser is also disabled.
Similarly, Office co-editing functions that are opened via a browser should not be restricted, since access in BoxEdit is not restricted.
Errors in opening the file in the browser cause confusion for the user.
Also, please add the following explanation to the Access Policy Settings…30 votes -

Box Shield - Ability to "assign" alert to users
It would be beneficial to be able to assign a Shield Alert to a specific user / analyst / security team member, so they can review and analyze. This would simplify the process, and eliminate duplicate work as the security team do not work on the same alerts.

Box Shield: Request to Filter Download Events Not Performed by Users in the EMM App
Our company is doing restriction monitoring for Box Shield.
Specifically, we are able to monitor via the Event API when operations subject to restriction by Box Shield Restrictions: “Download and Print Restrictions” are performed.
Enterprise Event: "SHILEDOWNLOADBLOCKED"However, in the Box for EMM app, we have the following situation because of the following specifications.
*The user's actual operation is not performed, and the “SHILEDOWNLOADBLOCKED” is obtained.
*There is no way to distinguish between operations actually performed by the user and operations not actually performed by the user. Therefore, please improve the functionality so that download events…

Ability to create custom Classification Label Data Types
Have the ability to create a custom classification label data type, e.g. to recognise a particular number format such as xxxxx-xx-***-xxxxxxx-x
This would enable us to classify documents containing particular account numbers or staff id numbers that don't match the current pre-built data types.

Box Shield: "Read Only" Security Control setting
In Box Shield, add a Security Control setting that locks the folder and effectively puts the folder in a read-only mode, disallowing edits and uploads, no matter what the collaborators' permission levels are (except Admin, obviously).
This way, it's possible to give users a "lower" permission level to a subfolder without affecting their elevated permissions in the parent folder.

Shield Alerts and Admin Sudo Activity
As an admin, I will need to sign in as my users for tasks, troubleshooting, etc. When we do so, all actions taken as that user while an admin is signed in as them should be noted as such in all reporting. For instance, I signed in as a user yesterday and we received an alert for the activities I performed as them, but nothing pointed to me being the actor. Threats occur with end users and admins, and full, transparent visibility is vital in the event of an incident.

Allow groups to change classification levels
We would like to see the option of a Box group to be able to change the classifications, along with the options we already have available.
This would allow us to create a group(s) that align with our written policies.

Cannot specify official apps in Shield's list
The Shield List allows third-party integration tools to be configured as integrations, but official apps such as Box Mobile App and Box Edit cannot be configured.
This causes the following problems.
- Mobile apps cannot be excluded from “suspicious session” detection. Since mobile apps are accessed via carrier lines, their IP addresses are different from those of PCs, and if they are accessed at the same time, they are detected as suspicious sessions.
- Office co-editing cannot be added to the linked apps whitelist in the access policy. It is impossible to control “prohibit DL on BoxDrive, but allow Office…5 votes -
