"Sign on behalf" or Delegate
Need ability to have an option on signature page where you can choose to forward to someone else to "sign on behalf" in addition to "reassignment". Use case comes up when a admin assistant or designated party can sign "Jane x on behalf of John" versus just capturing Jane's signature when reassigned.

We'd like to have an option to have API access to allow signing programatically. In a previous platform we used for electronic signatures, there was an option to automatically sign documents on behalf of a signer via bulk API calls. This helps automate workflows where a human signature is either redundant, legally implied by another action already taken, or handled at a large scale.

We have a use case where a shared account is setup, but no users actually log into it. We would like the shared account to be able to allow sending/signing to a group.

I would like to be able to have someone send a sign request on my behalf from my email address. I would like to be able to approve a document for signature, then have an Exec Asst send the request out as if it came from me.

Today in BOX Sign we have recipient groups where as the sender can send a document to a group of people. The first one of the group to sign validates the signature. But that let's the sender kind of decide delegates for the signature of a document.
Is it possible for the recipient to define a delegate indefinetly, or for a period of time. That delegate would be able to sign on his behalf but with their own credentials. This is available in DocuSign for example -

Box team, it's been a year since the status was last touched. Is there an update on this?

The idea is similar to adobe sign where we can assign a delegator to fields which basically means it forces that person to delegate the document for signature. I know box sign already has delegation which is called 're-assign request' but this is not ideal as some of our teams have noticed where people cut corners and sign on behalf of that person.
This way it can be enforced from the get go.

Agreed. We often have the issue of sending a contract out to several signatories, we then find out one of the signatories needs to be reassigned to someone else - and we have to start the whole process again, meaning the other signatories potentially have to sign twice. Being able to reassign would be immensely helpful.
