Folder-Level Activity Reporting: Ability to Report on Activity and Access Stats at the Folder Level
Add an 'export' option available for folder Owners & Co-Owners to export various items at the folder level (meaning in the webapp - not the Admin Console) for
--Activity (uploads, download, moves, previews, create shared link, invite collaborators, etc.) in the folder
--Collaborations
--Etc.

This suggestion is under consideration by the Product Team for future development, however, it is not on our roadmap. Please share additional feedback and use cases to help us understand the importance of this release.

Example Use Case: Training team supporting Box roll out want to regularly report on which files in the 'Getting Started with Box' training folder are performing best. Going through all the content file by file is pretty tedious on a weekly or monthly basis and want to simplify.

This is a regular request that we get at OSU. We see this as a benefit to all the users who are required to track the access of files. There are some regulations that our faculty and staff fallow that requires them to audit the access of specific files. This would allow them to fulfill this requirement without going to each individual file. I also need to see this available to all Admins via a report option. I have requests from our legal/compliance teams to provide access stats to them without specifically announcing it to the users involved. Having the ability to show all access stats for all files in a specific folder would be great.

This is a fairly common request that I get. I believe that if Box had this feature it would encourage more usage by instructors wanting information on the engagement of their students. Providing detailed stats on all files in a folder would be very good. Information on all the files in the sub-folders would be incredible.

We would love for our users to be able to report on what collaborations exist for folder trees they have Viewer rights or higher on, and in particular identify where individuals (or groups) are added. This is needed for user-driven (vs. centrally-driven) security audits; it's best practice to review your current state from time to time so you can compare with your intended state.
Ideally this would include both reporting on collaborators AND reporting on where shared links have been activated within the folder tree.

Ability to export the collaborator list by owner/co-owner would be also appreciated.

We would greatly appreciate the ability for end users, at least folder owner/co-owner to view/export access stats for any folder, much less a set of folders.

We are interested in accessing folder level stats without being an admin of some sort to have insight into folders.

As a business, we need a reliable and quick way to understand who is making changes to any folder/file that is owned by our organization. We would like to be able to target a folder (or file) with a user activity report, showing all user activity for internal/external collaborators on any file in that folder over a specified time period.

Box already has the ability to view Access Stats (uploads, downloads, edits, comments) on a per-file basis, along with exporting that information on a per-file basis as well. While that feature is great for looking into one file in particular, we often are needing to view this data in aggregate for a given folder. This request is to bring a similar Access Stats-style feature to the folder-level.
