View Collaborators On Custom Applications
With the primary admin account you are able to see the list of all Server Authentication Apps created in your environment and authorize them. There should be a way to see a list of all collaborators for that app to allow for proper user access audits.
There should also be a way to view ALL custom applications (server and user) within your environment so the admin team can properly track and audit these.

Consistent TimeZone Reporting
Good morning,
I think it is important that all the reporting is consistent in the way it is generated. Right now there are three linked reports that are treated differently and make more difficult to compare them. Though the underlying purpose is different, it is clear that they are related and it would help a lot that they use the same exact time zone.These reports are:
- Platform Activity. Generated by using PST time zone.
- User Activity. Generated by using the report requester time zone.

When an app is disabled for use, the client ID should be displayed on error page
When an app has been disabled, the error page displayed should surface the client ID in a manner that end users are familiar with instead of having to copy the URL and provide the ID from there. This is particularly useful because
1) the name of the app is missing from the error page
2) when it is a custom app that has been disabled it is removed entirely from the GUI which makes it difficult to track down.1 vote -
Restrict Apps (such as Box Sync) to a Group
With the impending deprecation of Box Sync I was looking to see about removing the Box Sync app from the Box App Store. I only see an option to disable Sync which would remove the apps, but also cause any installed Box Sync clients to start throwing errors since the service had been disabled.
I was told by support that I could turn Sync off for specific users, but we have way too many to make the adjustments on. While we don't use groups now, if there was a way to make apps available or unavailable at the group or…

Automatically apply metadata and tags to folders and files with pulse
Box provides users and organizations the ability to apply tags and metadata; however, trusting all users in an organization to know when and how to apply tags and metadata is not plausible.
Box admins should be able to use Box Relay so that whenever a file or a folder is created/uploaded to a certain section of Box in our organization, then a tag or meta data flag is applied.
Example:
I have a folder called 2021 Tax Documents
Tag I want Applied: 2021 Tax Documents

Group Creation Based on IdP Attributes
Please allow the automatic creation of groups in Box based on attributes being passed from the IpD. In my specific case I want to limit certain content to students and other content to faculty and staff. Having users automatically added to the group would help manage access to the correct resources.

Reduce welcome messages
The ability to turn off welcome messages when a new user logs in. Its very busy for the user to have to click through a bunch of screens showing all the features and then have a another window on the side showing how to do things.

Folder ownership transfer warning message
When transferring ownership of folders, there is no warning message that it will take some time, and no warning that it will make those folders/files inoperable until every folder has been successfully transfered to a new user.
Can we please add a warning that ownership changes to folders will sometimes take days depending on the file size, and that none of the files/folders can be used until the ownership transfer is complete? Not having this warning caused 4 days of downtime for my company.

Enable us to tag folders with specific colors, to indicate whether they're populated or not.
I would like to be able to tag folders (or choose their literal color, green red blue etc) to indicate whether or not they're complete, incomplete, populated, etc. My company often uses Box to sort invoices and W9 forms for contractors we hire on individual projects, and tracking down all that paperwork can be tedious. If I can, for example, color a folder Grey if it's empty, Yellow if it has an invoice but is missing a W9, and Green if it's fully populated, it'll save me the trouble of having to manually enter each folder and check.

Include file and folder IDs in user activity report
Running a user activity report for a deleted user shows the parent folder names the user was removed from, but no ID so there is no way to determine which folder they were removed from. (i.e. a searching for the parent folder called ACE returns 180 such folders).

Ability to edit the Admin Contact e-mail address
I understand that the 'Admin Contact' is always the e-mail address of the primary admin account and cannot be changed.
We think it would be useful to be able to amend this to an alternate e-mail address (e.g. our Helpdesk) both for support productivity and security.

Remove greyed out options for editable shared links
Remove greyed out options for editable shared links if the edit option has been removed from the enterprise settings. It causes end user confusion and would rather have it not be visible if the admin/IT/Security teams choose to not elect to have this available within enterprise settings.

Ability to export file requests dashboard
With time, many file requests have been created. The file request dashboard is a welcome addition, however additional features would be needed so we can actually take actions:
- export all active file requests filtered by Box Group so that we can share that with champions for different departments to look into
