When copying or moving a file via Relay, allow the file to overwrite an existing file of the same name as a version.
If we have a locked down area for SOP type files, as the SOP is updated and approved, a Relay workflow moves the file into the published location. If the published file is the same name as an existing file, we would like to have the new file come in as a version of the prior file, not be named with the date-time stamp on it.

Instead of stalling/killing workflow when file to be moved is still open, pause and send notifications to close file
Workflows currently stall (=die) if a file is meant to be moved following a task assignment, where the assignee edits the file and "Marks as complete" without having closed the file's tab. This can happen quite commonly: a user is asked to input edits into a file, so they open the file in the relevant Office online app (eg Excel online), and when they're done editing, if they forget to close the Excel online tab in their browser before going back to the BOX preview tab where they click on "Mark as Complete", then the workflow stalls. Add “Do something after a certain period of time” option in outcome
Accessing to some of our manual documents is strictly managed and we would like to delete these documents which are not effective anymore after a certain period of time (e.g. 1 day, 1 week, custom lengths etc.). If Relay is capable of this, we can streamline other systems that are currently implemented.

Relay: Invite external user at Manual Workflow start
We have a manual start workflow where we want to collaborate a volunteer to a template folder where they need to fill out some forms and upload back to a Box folder. Relay does not seem to let the workflow starter enter the collaborator's email UNLESS they already exist as an external user.

Relay: Extend Collaboration as an action
I would like to have "Extend Collaboration" as an option of "Action" in Relay.
This is useful when a certain project is longer than the expiration set in the whole account.
When it is known the finish date for that project, I would like to automatically extend the expiry date beforehand using Relay.2 votes -
Allow folders to be uploaded with File Request
File Request is a helpful feature, but often isn't useful as most external parties want to share folders (including sub folders) of documents with us. Can a feature be added to allow folders to be shared as part of File Request - perhaps renamed to Folder/File Request?

Support multi-file for rejected task trigger in Relay
Suppose you like to assign an approval task to a person with multiple files and when the task is rejected, you like to move the package of those “rejected” files to a different folder("Rejected folder) instead of having them sat in the triggered folder.
For a single file, you can create the following workflow containing 2 flows and it works perfect as expected, however it doesn't work for multi-files...
Flow 1: Trigger Manual start-> Outcome: Assign task -> When rejected, the flow is end

Email File Request Link from Box
Add ability to email file request links directly from Box (similar to collaboration invites). This would allow customers to audit who sent out file request link/ when.

Modify the default published Relay template
There are some Relay templates that Box provides by default that are not available to our company.
Therefore, we would like to control whether or not the default templates are published by tenants.
Also, we would like to publish the templates that we have created as targets.

Box should warn you when you exceed the character limit, not just delete everything you have written when you try to send the invite
It is VERY annoying to write a nice detailed note to the person you are inviting and then have it just disappear bc the character limit has been exceeded. Box should either not allow you to exceed the character limit, or at least have it refuse to send the invite but not completely delete everything you have just written!!!

Inserting metadata tags for subject line and message fields within Relay
Within Relay, being able to dynamically populate the metadata fields within the email notifications.
An example use case is for lease renewal. We have a metadata template for the leases. One of the metadata fields is property name. One of the steps in the workflow would be to assign a task to execute the lease renewal for a specific property which is triggered by lease renewal date. Relay lite: allow admin to change the workflow owner
Box Relay creates a workflow (Folder creates a task that requests invoice processing and is used to manage outstanding tasks) that enables clerical employees to process invoices more efficiently. However, when the employee is transferred, the workflow that has been created is not transferred to the next person in charge. If a useful workflow can be managed as a company, not as an individual (Change the workflow owner for contact changes), it will be very useful for business efficiency.

Change a specification of the PST time given when conflicting item's name on Box Relay.
Currently, no matter what timezone users/enterprise set in its settings, the PST timestamp will be added to the item's name when conflicting name on Relay.
The specification will be changed to add the date and time depending on the user/enterprise settings.

Automatic email response for file request submitter
Would like a feature whereby the person submitting files using Box File Request receives an automatic confirmation email with a customizable message. For example, after the submitter uploads files using the File Request web widget, that person gets a email to the effect of, "Thank you for contacting us. A team member will review your submittal and follow up within 24 hours." The person would be required to provide an email address but not required to have a Box account. Allow Folder Actions on "the folder of the file that triggered the flow"
When trying to build dynamic workflows, you currently can work with and get a handle on either:
- Folders can triggered the flow
- Files that triggered the flow
- Folders/Files created/copied from previous stages
There are workflows, however, where you have a trigger on the file(s) but you want to move that entire folder to progress the flow.
A "the folder of the file that triggered the flow" handle would be helpful in this scenario to allow you start a workflow, either through a file action or a manual start...assign tasks to that file and then be able to get a handle…

I would like to be able to Move or Copy a group of files to multiple folders in one click. It seemed when you added the radio buttons, that might be possible to select multiple destinations. Alas no.
