Not planned for now. I’m interested in additional information. Do you plan to notify users directly about this?

Add Boolean Attribute to User object to Indicate Unlimited Quota status
Currently, when querying the User object endpoint there is no way to identify whether the quota for the user has been set to Unlimited, even though Box permits sending a "-1" parameter to set the space_amount.
When the object is returned, the space_amount for an Unlimited quota will vary depending on the total space allocation for our company.
The request is to add a new Boolean attribute, such as "isquotaunlimited" to return this information.
0 votesWe are not currently planning on adding this new field to the users endpoint in the next few quarters, although we will revisit this feature request in Q3.

Provide total number of files in Account info
Currently if you go to Admin Console > ent settings > account info, we can see total storage space used in the Box instance. Can you add total # of files in the enterprise?
1 voteThis is not planned for our current roadmap. We will let you know if anything changes.

Report of all comments in a folder
This report would include a each file name and any comments/captions related to the file. This could be used to quickly identify files with similar names, such as images uploaded through Box Capture.
1 voteWe will want to see more use cases for reporting on comments in folders before further consideration.

Edit User - Add 'Device Name' and 'Device ID' to Installed Applications Section
The 'Installed Applications' section when editing a user on the Managed Users page currently only shows Application Type (e.g., iPhone) and Install Time.
This is problematic when a user has multiple devices (e.g., two entries for iPhone or 2 entries for Sync due to being logged in on more than one device).
Box already tracks Device Name and Device ID in the export of Usage Logs for 'Add Device Association', so Box should also expose this information on the Managed Users page.
REQUEST: Add 'Device Name' and/or 'Device ID' column to 'Installed Applications' section when editing a user on the…

Quarantined Files - View Folder Path
Currently an admin looking at the Quarantine section of Content Manager is not shown any information about where the file was attempted to be uploaded, which is also where the file will exist if the admin clicks 'restore' (approves) the file.
REQUEST: Provide location information for quarantined files such as the folder path, owner, uploader, etc. This information is already in the policy violation email that's sent to admins, so it should also be available in Content Manager.
2 votesWe are not currently making any vast improvements on quarantine in the short term. This is still helpful. We will reconsider it when working on this feature area.

Send a notification sent to user's when their password is about to expire.
We use read only sync as a primary use case. Because users do not log into the webapp, they are not aware when their password expires and files are not being synced.
1 voteThank you for this request!
We will review this with additional demand.

Aliases - Better Email Alias Management from Managed Users Page
Currently, email aliases for users are poorly exposed in the Users page of the Admin Console and we also provide poor alias management functions on the users tab too.
Key Gaps:
1. No ability to promote an alias to be primary directly from the Managed Users page (must use instant log in - which not all co-admins have - in order to make this change)
2. No ability to remove an alias from the Managed Users page3 votesThis suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. We are currently focusing on improving the performance and user interface to manage users before we add enhancements to manage email aliases.

Upload/Change User Avatars (Profile Pictures) from Managed Users Page in Admin Console
Currently user avatars (profile pictures) can only be added, removed, or changed from an individual user's account settings and these avatars are not editable whatsoever via the admin console. Meaning for an admin to add one on behalf of a user or to remove one, they must use instant log in (which not many co-admins have).
When clicking to edit a user from the Admin Console -> Managed Users page, options to manage the user's avatar should be presented (just like we have for editing their name, email, etc.).

Support Multi-Select for Granting Folder Access to Groups (via Folder Picker on Groups Page of Admin Console)
Admins must currently add folders to Groups in the Admin Console on a one-by-one basis, so if an admin has 10 folders to add, that's a lot of clicks.
You could simplify this process by supporting multi-select in the folder picker that's provided when editing a Group from the Admin Console.
2 votesThis suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. We are currently focusing on improving the performance and user interface to manage users in the Users & Groups tab before we add enhancements to group bulk operations. We will provide an update in the next few quarters.

Allow group admins the ability to invite lite users as managed
We use the group admin functionality to allow project teams to manage their Box access. They have hundreds of projects at a time so it is not feasible for the Box global admins to manage this onboarding/offboarding (which occurs on a weekly basis). Group admins have the ability to create new users as a managed user but can not invite existing lite users, which places a bottleneck on IT to invite these users in. Alternatively error messaging around this could be updated to specify why the users can't be added (currently it is not clear).
0 votesThis suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. However, we would like more information and details from the requester on whether or not having the ability to invite external users to groups could solve this problem.

Support External Users in Box Groups
Currently only Managed Users can be added to Groups in Box.
This request is to allow both Managed and (NEW) External Users to be added as members of Groups to easier bulk collaborator management.
