2. Create one of "Boxファイル" and "Box Files" tabs

   In Teams V2 integration, when you add a Box app to a team from the left menu, Apps >Box> Add to Team > Select the team you created > Set Tab, you may see "Boxファイル" and "Box Files" tabs created.

3. When posting a shared link generated from Box onto Teams, the thumbnail display is slow.

   When sharing a link from Box on Teams, there is approximately a 7-second delay before the thumbnail is displayed.

   Improve the functionality to allow posting without waiting for the thumbnail to display. Currently, if a post is made without waiting for the thumbnail, it does not showing up.

   To prevent posts without thumbnails, the following options are requested:

   Implement a control mechanism that grays out the “post button” until the thumbnail is displayed, preventing the ability to post without a thumbnail.

   Enhance the functionality to retroactively after posting, even if it was done without waiting for the thumbnail to appear.

4. Google Workspace Add-on - Remove Collaborators

   When a customer uses the Google Workspace Add-on (either clicking the Box icon in Google Drive to move a Google document to Box OR using the Gmail integration) and that document has Collaborators who were added in Google, then Box will emails all those Collaborators invites to the new Box folder. Multiple customers have complained about this.

   For my customer, Coursera, their main content storage solution is Google. Only the Legal Team uses Box for retention. When the Legal Team moves a file from GDrive to Box, it then sends Collaboration requests to all Google Collaborators on the file (many of whom don't have Box accounts). They moved a file over to Box on Monday, 50 people were alerted to join Box and our customer was really embarrassed. Plus their IT team assumed that our customer's email was hacked.

   Customer is requesting that they have the ability to turn off the Google Collaborators and simply copy the file to Box.

   When a customer uses the Google Workspace Add-on (either clicking the Box icon in Google Drive to move a Google document to Box OR using the Gmail integration) and that document has Collaborators who were added in Google, then Box will emails all those Collaborators invites to the new Box folder. 5. Lock Box objects tied to Salesforce records that are locked.

   Within Salesforce, we have the ability to lock a record from being updated. So even though users may still have edit permissions to these records, they cannot make changes to the record while it is locked. This does not translate to box. Box content associated with that record can still be modified. I'd like to see an integration where when a record is locked, users with access to the box content can only view that content and not modify it.

    Integrate Box as an additional "drive" in Google Drive. This would allow people to easily share documents from within Google Drive using Box. All of my templates are in Drive, I do real-time collaboration in Google Drive, none of which is currently doable in Box.

    As we are partnering with Autocad to integrate Box in there tools, it would be great to support BIM file formats, which are starting to get more and more common in construction and building management industries.

14. Slack: Sync 'Comments' on Files Between Box & Slack

    Right now, when using the Box + Slack integration, Slack imports a 'pointer' to a Box file (when a shared link is posted), and then keeps that file's search index updates based on changes that happen in Box.

    REQUEST: Extend this integration further to sync any Comments made on the file between Box and Slack.

    In Slack, I can add a Comment to the imported Box file by clicking 'add comment', and in Box I can 'add Comment' -- it'd be nice if the comment added to the file directly in Slack also synced and was added automatically as a Comment on the file in Box as well.

20. Request for improvement of behavior when posting a shared link of a Box folder in a Teams channel or chat

    When you post a Box shared link in a Teams channel or chat, you'll see a Grant Access card with the option to grant users additional permissions if the following conditions are true:

    　condition：If there are channel members or chat members who do not have access permissions to the shared folder or file.
    　　　　　　＊This includes channel members and chat members who are invited as a group but not directly invited as users.

    The support article states that when you grant access, the card will update and a content card with file details will be displayed.
    However, when you post a shared link for a folder and grant access, although it says "A response has been sent to the app,"
    the card does not update and the card for granting permissions continues to be displayed.

    After investigating, we received a response from your company (Box) stating that the content of the support article only applies to files and that this is currently the expected behavior.
    However, in addition to files, shared links to folders are sometimes posted, and the current behavior is confusing to users.
    For this reason, we would like to see this improved so that the behavior for folders is the same as for files.

    ＜TeamsチャネルまたはチャットでBoxのフォルダの共有リンクを投稿した場合の動作改善依頼＞
    以下に該当する場合、TeamsチャネルまたはチャットでBoxの共有リンクを投稿すると、ユーザーに追加の権限を付与するためのオプションを含む、アクセス権限を付与するためのカードが表示されます。

    　条件：共有するフォルダまたはファイルへの、アクセス権限を持っていないチャネルメンバーやチャットメンバーがいる
    　　　　※グループとして招待されているものの、ユーザーとして直接招待されていないチャネルメンバーやチャットメンバーも含む
    　　　
    サポート記事では、アクセス権限を付与すると、カードは更新され、ファイルの詳細を含むコンテンツカードが表示される旨記載されています。
    しかし、フォルダの共有リンクを投稿し、アクセス権限を付与する操作を実施すると、「応答がアプリに送信されました」と表示されるものの、
    カードは更新されず、権限付与するためのカードが表示され続けたままの状態になります。

    調査の結果、貴社（Box社）より本動作について、サポート記事の内容はファイルのみが対象であり、現在の想定動作である旨返答いただいております。
    しかし、ファイルだけでなく、フォルダの共有リンクも投稿することがあり、現在の動作はユーザーの混乱を招いてしまいます。
    そのため、フォルダの場合もファイルと同じ動作となるよう、改善を希望いたします。
