Tag within Document Viewer
Currently, you can only Tag a document when viewing list of files and folders. It would be nice if could Tag document within Box's Document Viewer, likely in the 'Activity' pane where see Add Task and Comments.
Example, when click on pdf document hyperlink to which brings up pdf document's contents within browser, to be able to Tag directly here.

Dashboard for end users
Create an end-user accessible dashboard where users can see the status of their content and shared links. For example, they can see a running list of their shared links and be able to un-share these links via the dashboard; see a running list of externally shared content with external collaborators to see if they still need to be shared externally. In addition, the dashboard should include a high-level overview of these shared folders/files so they user can classify content from one place instead of by individual files/folders. The goal: give end users a better way to classify and manage their…

Set cookie to remember which Box enterprise the user last signed in as
The Box web app should set a cookie in the user's browser to remember the Box account they last signed in as, and take them directly to the SSO (or Box login) page for that enterprise, without the three intermediate steps where the user has to click "Not a part of External Org?", then enter their email address, then click Next, and only then get to their SSO screen.
This is an issue that often comes up when collaborating across enterprises.

Option to Restore an Item from Trash to a New Location (Other Than the Original Location)
Users cannot view/preview the contents in their trash before determining if they want it to be restored.
No clear way to recall exactly where each of the files were restored to (especially when you're dealing with dozen or more files)
8 votesWe don’t currently have this slotted in as an update to the Trash page given limited asks for it. If customer demand persists, we will re-evaluate, though this change also requires an API update since https://developer.box.com/v2.0/reference#restore-a-trashed-item only allows choosing of a new target parent folder in the case where the original parent has been deleted or user lost access.

Add 'trusted websites' to suppress the 'Leaving Box' step
Context: When users click on a bookmark that takes them to an external website, there is an interim page that requires them to 'click continue' to verify they trust this website and are ok with 'Leaving Box'.
Request: Provide admins with the opportunity to input which websites allow their users to bypass this interim screen as a 'trusted' website.
8 votesThis interstitial (‘leaving Box’) page exists due to some requirements from our Security team.
Providing a whitelist for companies to use is not a feature that the Web App team will be prioritizing in the near future given other commitments.

Display warning notification (admin controls) for moving large files and folders.
We have large projects folders containing 5+ GB of data. Would like to have a warning notification similar to that of deleting a file, pop up when someone goes to move a file or folder.
Ideally this would have customizable parameters controlled by the admin such as warn users only when file contains over 100 mb or even a feature that requires admin approval over a certain amount.
We recently had one of our very large folders moved accidentally and it caused a huge bandwidth issue as well as displaced the many sub folders that various departments relied on.

Create new folder from Move/Copy Dialogue box
We regularly need to move and copy content to different locations in Box. It would be very helpful to have a "New Folder" option within the move/copy dialogue Box. This would help mirror desktop functionality (and sync, which currently supports this feature).
8 votesThis is a very narrow use case, so it’s not a priority for our roadmap right now.

We would like the ability to @mention users invited via groups.
A user can only invite users to folders via group. At present, if a user is invited via a group, they cannot @mention this user.

TAGS: User wants to be able to see a tag in their list of "my tags" if they've only applied the tag to content owned by other people.
If a user applies a tag to a document owned by someone else, the tag will not show up in their list of "my tags." The workaround is to keep a dummy document they own to which they apply all tags their using on other people's content.
8 votesThanks for the suggestion! We don’t currently have this update planned for the Tags feature in Box as we look at other ways to help users organize and structure their content.

Remove 'Get our app to view this on mobile' Text/Link in Emails for EMM-Enabled EIDs OR Allow Link Customization
For customers that use Box for EMM (and have disabled the standard Box apps), the 'get our app to view this on mobile' link/text in the standard Box email notifications (like for @mentions, uploads, etc.) is confusing because users in that EID won't actually be able to log into the standard Box app that it links to.
REQUEST:
1. Either provide the option to remove this text from emails
OR
2. Allow customization of this text to change the link that it points to (so a customer can link to their software/app catalog where users download the Box for EMM…8 votesHey there! Thanks for submitting this feedback, but due to competing priorities, we cannot put this ask on our roadmap at this time.

Replace Java Uploads with native folder upload methods
Firefox will be removing NPAPI support by the end of 2016
https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/Java uploads have always been a terrible experience to set up. Java itself contains bugs that prevent our applet from launching correctly.
v1.7.1x
Customers with strict security policies always bump in to SSL issues which are difficult to resolve due to their policy. (java itself has a security store)8 votesThere is no native folder upload method available with Firefox.

Adding an "Are you sure?" message when scrolling to a new page in Mark Up mode on a Mobile Device
When enabling Mark-Ups/Comments on a Mobile Device:
Whilst annotating on Page #1, the Web App let's you scroll to Page #2 and beyond BUT doesn't give you a warning that your annotations and comments on the previous pages will be deleted (unless you have clicked Save/Post). A message to make users aware of this, before scrolling to the next page, would be extremely helpful OR allowing for multipage mark-ups7 votes -

Offer option to "auto focus = false" in Box Embed to prevent page scrolling
When embedding Box documents via iFrame, the Preview SDK has Autofocus set to True. This means that Chrome web browser will "jump" to the HTML section that has the iframe and not stay at the top of the page.
I'm requesting the option to set autoFocus: false to prevent this. Note this has been an issue for many years, based on postings here: https://github.com/box/box-content-preview/issues/960

Option to enforce Box account login on public shared link
Provide an option to require a user to login to a Box account in order to access a public shared link. This becomes useful when you want to record a specific access audit trail but do not have a specific person in mind and therefore cannot invite them as a collaborator

Inactive Status - Should have visual indicator that shows the account is inactive when user is still a collaborator on folder/file
When I change a user to inactive in the admin console, The user is still a collaborator on a folder or file. There is no way for the active folder collaborators to know if people are active or inactive. The inactive user should either appear greyed out in the list of users or have an red x or something to indicate this user is no longer active. You would become aware if you try to send a comment or at mention to the inactive user it will not pop up but that still doesnt emphasis that person is no longer…
