2. Make Box Tags visible in Box Drive (on Windows)

   We have used Tags extensively to categorise content in Box, it would be great now that we have moved to Box Drive that these are visible against the folders displayed in here too.

3. Add refresh button to Box Drive

   Add a refresh button to Box Drive above the Log out option in the system tray. When our users experience Box Drive red marks on their folders we always tell them to log out and log back in to refresh the folders. It would be nice if there was a refresh button.

5. Enhancing MIP Integration: Applying DLP Policy Controls to Box Drive Access

   We use Microsoft's MIP integration (DLP policy application).
   Currently, DLP policy controls are not applied when opening from Box Drive.
   This makes MIP integration pointless and poses security problems.
   It is desirable for DLP policy controls to be applied even when opening from Box Drive.

   Currently, BoxDrive shows a prompt for file locking every time a file is opened.
   This is particularly disruptive when opening multiple files simultaneously.

   We would like administrators to have the ability to turn off this prompt through settings.

   現在BoxDriveではファイルを開くたびにファイルロックのためのプロンプトが表示されます。

   Box does not support Box Drive aliases with Mac OS Monterey. We need this feature back so users don't remove/delete files and folders from Box by mistake.

8. Box Drive path for InDesign linked files

   Background:
   We’ve moved the location of Box Drive to be outside the username location for our users. This allows for multiple users to work with InDesign , collaborate, and reference the correct asset links without issue. Reference – community.box.com/t5/Deploying-Managing-Box..

   Issue:
   However, if a user hasn’t previously viewed the file in BOX Drive (e.g. ‘downloaded it to force a local sync’) then the linking of the file still breaks. This causes the following issues : when the user opens an InDesign file, they still need to navigate to anywhere from 5 – 50 different file locations in BOX Drive to ‘open/sync/download’ the file so that BOX has it in the local sync to load into InDesign.

   Request:
   Instead of having to mark multiple folders, sometimes even hundreds of folder for those in the design business, for offline use, we want a way for that when the file is opened it ‘downloads/syncs’ the files behind the scenes automatically.

   Background:

11. box drive metadata

    With some of the new updates coming to Metadata, I'd like to request that Box Drive be able to support updates to Metadata on a folder/file.
    
    As a start, a context menu option that would take a user directly to the metadata page.

    Mounting Box as a letter drive is not currently on the roadmap. As a workaround, we are enabling the ability to customize the Box location so you can place it under a different HD partition. More details can be found here: https://pulse.box.com/admin/v3#ng!/suggestions/35982937

15. Get separate (mapped) shared links for a large number of files under a shared folder

    I am trying to generate separate shared links for a large number of files (1000+) under a folder, and map them to their original file name, so I can share these files separately.

    But we can only do that either by the whole folder (not what we want), or by selecting files one by one (too time-consuming).

    We hope there will be a function when you share a folder, we can also have the option to generate separate share links for each of the files under the folder, and a corresponding mapping file is generated automatically.

16. Ability to logout and delete cache from Box Drive on OS reboot

    Currently, it is necessary to logout/login to clear the cache and errors, but this is troublesome.
    The burden of performing this operation on a regular basis is on the end user.

    It would be easier to use if the logout/deletion of the cache could be done on OS reboot.
    （If it automatically re-logon after restarting OS, that would be even better)

    現状ではキャッシュやエラーをクリアするためにログアウト/ログインする必要がありますが、これは手間がかかります。
    この操作を定期的に行うのはエンドユーザーに負担がかかってしまいます。

    OS の再起動時にログアウト/キャッシュの削除ができればより便利だと思います。
    (OS の再起動後に自動的に再ログオンするようになれば更に良いと思います。)

17. "Your Download is In Progress" pop-up confuses clients

    When a client of ours who is not a Box user downloads a file, a pop-up which says "Your Download is In Progress" appears. The issue is that the pop-up looks like there are only three courses of action, “sign up”, “log in”, or “x” out. Many of our clients have not realized that there is a fourth option, which is just wait for the download. This has caused confusion time and time again across different clients at different times. These are sophisticated users, and this creates serious client issues. Can you please remove the sign up and login options. Or, if you are not willing to do that, then add a "continue downloading without login or sign up" button or something like that?

18. Map Trash on Box.com to Box Drive App

    This is very useful to users who deleted a file accidentally on Box Drive App to recover it without opening Box.com.

    I once deleted one file through Box Drive, and it prompted that it would be deleted permanently and Stop me from undoing. I did not realize that it still can be retrieved from Box.com. If we have a Trash folder on Box Drive App that maps to the Trash on Box.com. That would be fantastic.

    A true silent update is not currently planned. We have made some improvements to Box Drives update behavior by including silent updates when Box Drive is launching, if an update is already available. This improvement is in v2.3 for Mac and v2.3 for Windows.

20. Add remote app support functionality like OneDrive is currently offering

    OneDrive now offers support for starting in background for RemoteApp. I tried the same regkey for Box but it didn't work, can the same functionality be added for Box Drive?
