No doc preview on web app via mobile
When external users click in the shared link without using the Box app (so only on the phone browser), they do not get preview capabilities in the browser. It only gives them the option to download the content which is impossible.
Dropbox does allow this feature. Would you consider developing it?

Integrate "Open with" options in the web app with Box for Desktop
Instead of using Box Edit to download the file an open it, give users the option to open the file that's already in their Box for Desktop folder

Box Note Visual Share Indicator
Security would like users to be able to see at a glance that a Box note is shared or not. Something like how the folder icon changes on the web app when a folder is shared.
We are more concerned about it now that Box Notes is consolidated and it's not always quickly visually clear (inside a Notes Tab) where the Note resides and whether it's collaborated.

Box Notes in China on Web App
Box Notes currently don't work on (Box Alternate domain) and that is expected. Please change this.

Customize folders in sidebar
User wants to be able to have specific folders show in that view so you can see all Notes in a specific folder in the sidebar.

Updates to version history by editor are not currently on the Notes roadmap. We’ll continue to monitor and may revisit in a future planning cycle based on customer feedback.

Box for Office - Email Uploads
When email uploading into Box, we'd like the option to add collaborators and permission levels in the dialog box confirming the file name, vs having to in later in Box as a second step in a second system.
Else - defaulting rights to Viewer Uploader for all email recipients to ensure they can view the content, but we'd still have the content protected.

Receive Box browser notifications while using Skype
We would like Box to send Browser notifications in Skype whenever there is a comment directed to you (Facebook does it through Chrome).
We want to be able to keep a conversation in Box (which is possible now with comments) AND easily notify the participants that are not in Box or have not checked email, but may be in Skype.

Allow multiple Microsoft Tenant IDs for Office 365 to be associated with one EID
Allow multiple tenant IDs admins to add these manually in the admin console.

Consistent Support Helpdesk Info Across Endpoints
Currently, admins can control the Custom Support Information (Helpdesk contact info) that appears in the web app. However, admins cannot control the support information shown in all endpoints, like Box for Office.
This will help large enterprises avoid confusion with their end users.

Office Online Chat
We want to use the Office Online Chat feature when concurrently editing a Microsoft document in Box leveraging Office Online.
0 votesWe want our users to use our commenting feature more instead. It’s not on strategy for us to integration with Office Online chatting features. Please file a Gap Request for web app so this in on their radar when prioritizing commenting features.
