Box Drive: Display pop up warning when copy / move large number of items
Just like below warning pop-up displayed in WebApp, Box Drive shall pop up a warning to let the user know when large number of files / folders are going to be copied / moved. (also to prevent accidental copies / moves)

Recommend an automated, timed backup onto a secure Duke folder for ToolKit folders/files to improve deleted file recovery options for a team. Now it appears that recovery of files that were deleted in a shared Duke Box Toolkit folder can only be recovered by the individual that deleted the file (not the co-owner or admin without the assistance of the individual that performed the deletion). For critical files this is a security risk to just store the files on the Box Drive because it severely limits identifying and recovering deleted files. Add a 'description' for folder and files at the top of the page, just below the folder/file name.
A description of the folder at the top of the page will save time for our users, stakeholders and team members. It can be used as a way to describe what a user can expect to find in a given folder; and if this option extends in all sub-folders and files, it can help save a lot of time, bandwidth, and storage.

I cannot use the box application the same way I use my macpro server or windows server drives.
Would be nice on enterprise files that you allow me to use BOX in the same way I use MacPro or windows server application. Limiting my files and the speed they can use has pushed me to go to AWS and use it natively - ie not use your application because I cannot backup my VMWARE fusion files.

Manually update on box drive
Customer wants 'Manually update' function on Box Drive.
Box Drive is often delay to update but they wants to update box drive as soon as possible.

ACCESS MULTIPLE WORKSPACES ON BOX DESKTOP DRIVE
Hi,
I run a small agency and more clients are asking me to work directly in their Box server. The problem is that I can't log into several different Box workspaces on the Desktop App (like you can in Slack for example). Please help! I may have to go back to Dropbox for this reason.

Box Drive support for Tags (Windows)
We would like to be able to use tags in Box Drive in order to better sort/filter/search for specific information that is used company-wide (either the tags field in MS Office files or a Box-specific tag). I see several requests for this feature from Mac users, but not much reference for Windows users.

Syncing bookmarks and Windows shortcuts between Box Drive and online.
To better organize my personal Box files and share with teams, I've saved my files in the team folder and used a Windows shortcut (in Box Drive) in my personal Box folder to link files/folders elsewhere on Box. Box Drive doesn't sync Window's shortcuts so these links are lost when working online. The workaround online is to use the bookmark function, using file/folder URLs to create shortcuts. Allow administrators the ability to change the timing threshold of the Box Drive Authentication Token
It would be helpful for admins to be able to change the timeframe for which the Box Drive authentication token lasts. We have users who have a hard time renewing their passwords in a timely manner and this is the biggest avenue they have to keep them working because the token doesn't seem to expire in a more timely manner. Or have a way to remotely sign a user out of all box applications on their devices when needed.

finder tag
I use tags very often in my work to keep track of certain documents and where they are in the process. It is very frustrating to me that I cannot tag documents in Box Drive and have them come up in my sidebar on Finder. Is there a solution to this? Is this a feature that will be added soon? If it is not in the cards for Box Drive, I will have to migrate to Dropbox, which does support this feature for Finder Tags.

version tracking between multiple files
It often happens that multiple files relate to the same product and therefore need to have the same version tracking. In this case if a version is created by mistake (the version number is incremented on a file) this can offset the version tracking between all the files related to the same product. Some solutions include:
1 - Give more flexibility around version numbering (be able to do a hard reset of the version number - i.e. reset version number from number 30 to number 25 and delete all versions in-between)

Folder Setting Limitations - Box Drive
We have folders for each office where they store their active and archived (old) jobs. These folders can can contain many hundreds of job folders (sub folders to the parent folder) representing hundreds of GB and even over TB in some cases of data. It is way too easy for users to simply check ‘mark for offline’ in Box drive or attempt to sync the folder in Box Sync.

Using folder hierarchy to reduce number of shared folders
It would be great if Box could group by the parent folder if a user is shared more folders from the same parent folder example if i had the following folders
- Projects -> Project A -> Project B -> Project C
If I shared Project A and Project C with a user, it would be better if they saw the following
- Projects -> Project A -> Project C
However if i just share Project A then they would only see this.
This would save having a huge number of folders in the Root of each users account.

Add verification question when moving files in Box Drive using File Explorer
In the web box.com environment moving folders or files is verified with a question. This is not the case using Box Drive and moiving files or folders using File Explorer.
A similar question as in box.com and if you delete files in Files Explorer should have been added for moving files in Box Drive. By accident root folder containing hundreds of GB may be moved and hidden into subfolders causing severe problems.

Box Drive Warning When File Path is too Long
There is a known issue with Box Drive that if a file path is exceeds a character count limit, then the file cannot be opened on desktop, however it can be opened via Box on the web. The issue is, when a user has a file on their desktop, that has a current file path within the character count limits, then moves the file to Box Drive within Windows Explorer and the new path in box exceeds the character limits.
