Box Sign: ability to manually pre-fill or auto-populate fields for signers
Box Sign: Enable ability to pre-fill or auto-populate fields on my contract.
E.g. because we know the email is associated with:
FIRST NAME (e.g. "John")
LAST NAME (e.g. "Smith")
COMPANY (e.g. "NoName Inc.")
TITLE (e.g. "CEO")... then I can either manually pre-fill these or have them auto-populate on my contract via the CRM<>Box integration, a ZoomInfo<>Box integration, or otherwise based on the information attached to that person’s Box account.
Obviously, the signer recipient of the contract must also have the option to correct these fields, given there will be circumstances where the pre-filled or auto-populated fields are incorrect.

Box Sign: Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA)
Box Sign: Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) via integration with LexisNexis for Box Sign.
IRS requires knowledge based authentication to verify the identity of the person who is signing (confirm social security #, etc. )
DocuSign doesn't offer this unless you request it and pay extra. Box Sign could require that customers pay extra for this too.
Mortgage, banking, finance companies require this.
5% of all of my customer's signatures require using KBA.

Allow Box Sign widget on web page
Allow a Box Sign form based on a template to be posted on a web page via a widget where it can be signed by anyone that can access the web page and/or downloaded to be signed off-line and returned using a manual separate process.
For example, I may have a generic form that can be completed by anyone interested in requesting a service or receiving information but the form requires a name and signature acknowledging terms and conditions before the request will be put into queue to be processed.

I would like to have a function to prevent a signed document not be able to get edited by opening Adobe Acrobat.

Ability to change the Date Field format
Currently the date field is automatically filled based on the signer's PC device language.
When the language is set in Japanese, the date will be written in Japanese but when it is set in English, the date will be written in English.
It would be great if we can set the language/format of the date to be the same when there is multiple signers with different language setting.28 votesOur team is gathering feedback and additional use cases regarding this suggestion.

Customizable form for Box Sign
Need the ability to create a form that allows users to type in their own name, date, and enter text based on the request into a form that allows folks to sign off/provide approval based on what is in the form within Box Sign.

More Fonts for Japanese
Currently there is only one font available when signing in Japanese.

Long text in the field should become smaller, instead of increasing the length of the field
If you enter long text into a text field in Box sign, the field becomes large and may be covered by another field.
We think the best behavior is to make the text smaller and fit the text into the field instead of making the field larger.2 votes -
Box Sign: add option to require recipient 2FA on template definition
Add the option to define that 2FA is required for some recipients (signers), on template definition itself.
That way, in combination with template locking admin can enforce users to set it while using the template20 votes -
Ability to CC a non-signer on a sign request, or to change the sender email
Ability to CC a non-signer on a sign request. Sometimes the client doesn't recognize the admin person sending the sign request and refuses to sign. It would help to be able to CC their sales rep so the request looks more legitimate.
Alternatively, I'd like the ability to change who the Box Sign email comes from, so the email notification requesting signature can appear to come from the client's sales rep instead of the admin setting up the signature.

Ability to easily navigate a document using a scroll bar when setting up a workflow or signing a document.
Navigation Difficulties on Box Sign
When creating a workflow, to add signature fields to the bottom of a document with more than 1 page, you can't easily scroll down and have to zoom out to drag fields to a lower page.
When you are asked to sign a document (chrome browser) there isn't a side-bar to scroll up and down the document. You can only zoom in and out and jump from page to page using the green navigation arrow. Scrolling through the document without a mouse or or keyboard keys is a challenge. A scroll bar would simplify navigation.

Box Sign Signature Log to contain the sender's time zone instead of UTC.
I want the BoxSign signature log to be able to apply the tenant's set time zone.
Currently, the signature log is written in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
I would like to be able to set the tenant's time zone to make the log content explicit.
If the UTC is left as it is, there is a high possibility that the approval time will be pointed out in internal audits due to the difference from the actual time, as it is different from the time that we use regularly.

Add AutoPlace Text Tags to Box Sign
I have a customer that uses Zoho doc's sign capability and would be willing to switch to Box Sign if it had Zoho docs AutoPlace Text Tags functionality:

When I upload Excel to BoxSign, I want it to become PDF as per the print settings of Excel.
When I upload Excel to BoxSign, I want it to become PDF as per the print settings of Excel.
For Example, a file created in Excel with the print settings set to A4 becomes 2page PDF files when uploaded to BoxSign.
This can be avoided by converting the files to PDF before uploading them to BoxSign, but if all the files are converted and then uploaded, the man-hours and number of files increases, which raises concerns about operational efficiency and data management, so we would like to see improvements.ExcelをBoxSignにアップロードした際Excelの印刷設定通りにPDFになるようにして欲しい

Anchors to apply fields automatically based on text of documents
We need the ability to create templates which apply fields automatically based on text in the document. Other products call these "AutoPlace" or "Anchors".
For example, we have a standardized signature area in our contracts which are always formatted the same, even if they appear in different areas of the document. We also have a footer with an "initials" indicator.
I need to be able to have the "Signature" box automatically applied to a template, even if we swap out the underlying document.
Manually having to drag signature fields (and soon hopefully initials fields) to every document we send is…
