Provide watch list for anomalous downloads
I would like shield to have a watch list of people they know are going to leave the company within the next 30 days. I want to be able to tell if someone on that list starts downloading a large number of files during that 30-day window so they can immediately cut off their access.

Report on Auto‑Confirmation Issue During Japanese Input When Using Bulleted Lists (BoxCanvas)
I am using BoxCanvas and would like to report an issue related to text input.
After starting a bulleted or numbered list, if I type double‑byte characters and the IME enters the pre‑conversion state, the text is automatically confirmed and I cannot input it correctly（At that time, I was using Japanese input）. This behavior has already been resolved in BoxNotes.The pace of improvements to BoxCanvas, BoxNotes, and other features has been remarkable. I appreciate the Box team’s continuous efforts and look forward to future enhancements.

I want a feature that hides the toolbar displayed at the bottom of the PDF or image preview screen
When you move the mouse pointer off-screen, the toolbar disappears, but it can sometimes get in the way when explaining materials with the pointer, which is inconvenient. I would like a feature to hide the toolbar or move it.

A save and continue button in Box Forms.
Save and Continue Option for Box Forms.
For longer forms this will allow users to start the form but then come back later to finish it.
We have an existing online form that has several input text fields and document upload fields.
Due to the length of the form, all of the submitters use the Save and Continue option that is available on our current form.
We want to convert this form to a Box Form but this one feature is a huge limitation for our users so we will not convert until this added feature is available.
I think this will be very helpful for many customers and use cases, not just for this one form.

Groups with external users: Allow external email addresses to be added to a group
Groups with external users: Allow external email addresses to be added to a group, making it easier to invite external agencies and grant them access to files. The goal would be to create a group for users from the same agency, including users with free Box accounts.

Display full file name on mouseover
We have very long file names where file prefix can be 40 characters the same. In Box Web GRID view it's impossible to differentiate between the files without opening them. In list list view it's almost as bad. The file naming is set by customer policy and we cannot affect that.
Add a mouse over popup for files to show the whole file name for Box Web.

Display of account name when approval task or Box Relay creator user is deleted
After an account is deleted, the user who created an approval task is displayed as "Previous Collaborator," making it impossible to verify the approval status at that time. Please change this so that the username from that time continues to be displayed even after the account is deleted.

Box AI support for all spreadsheet tabs
Currently, Box AI only reads the first sheet of an Excel file. We would appreciate it if this could be expanded to cover the entire workbook (all tabs).

We would like Box Automate to provide a folder action that enables email uploads for a specified folder and generates or retrieves the folder's email upload address.
Currently, email uploads must be enabled manually in the settings of each folder. This becomes time-consuming when folders are created dynamically or when the same configuration must be applied to many folders.
For example, we would like to create the following workflow:
- Create a new folder through Box Automate.
- Enable email uploads for the newly created folder.
- Generate or retrieve the folder's email upload address.
- Store the email address in metadata, send it through a notification, or use it in a subsequent workflow action.
It would also be helpful to have an option to restrict email uploads to folder collaborators only.
Adding this folder action would make it possible to automate processes that collect email attachments in dynamically created Box folders, without requiring users or administrators to manually configure each folder.
Requested actions:
- Enable email uploads for a folder
- Generate or retrieve the folder's email upload address
- Optionally restrict email uploads to collaborators

Hub-level Terms of Service gate (per client portal) with auditable acceptance
Customers using Hubs as client/extranet portals need client-specific Terms of Service at the Hub level (not enterprise-wide). Many firms run multiple client portals, each with different legal terms, and they must be able to prove who accepted, when, and under what terms before granting access.
Requested capability:
Add a Hub/Portal-specific ToS “splash page” that requires users to Accept / Decline before viewing Hub content, with mandatory authentication and an audit trail.2 votes -
Signer Verification in Box Automate
Request to have a configurable option in an automate workflow to require a pre-defined signer verification method when sending a signature request from automate. Ex: Form is submitted, document is generated, document is sent for signature and user is required to sign with CAC/PIV card, use 2FA, etc.

Custom Branding - Embeddable Box AI for Hubs
Please add custom branding options to the new Embed Hub / AI Chat Widget feature. Creating simple hub-grounded chatbots that can be embedded in intranet sites are powerful but for some customers require that they can control the branding like text and colors to stay within guidelines, for instance: instead of the default "Welcome to Box AI" text and logo.

Allow separate notification messages for task assignment and completion
Currently, when creating a general or approval task, the same notification message is sent both when the task is assigned and when it is completed.
As a result, recipients of the message can sometimes become confused.I would like the ability to set different notification messages for task assignment and task completion.

Request for a function that can determine whether an email address is registered in the Suppression List
If a welcome message is sent before the mailbox creation is complete, it will be added to the Suppression List as an invalid email address.

Please do not cancel Box Sync
My colleague uses Box Drive to do the same tasks I do with Box Sync. He has had nonstop issues because the files are not stored locally. Please do not get rid of Box Sync. I want the files to be stored locally!

[Box Drive] Expiration date for Shared Links cannot be modified in Box Drive dialog despite being available on Box Web
[Summary]
When creating a Shared Link via Box Drive, the expiration date cannot be modified due to a permission message, even though the same file allows expiration date modification when accessed through the Box Web interface.[Current Behavior / Issue]
In recent versions of Box Drive, selecting "Copy Shared Link" opens a dialog window.
However, under Link Settings, the following message is displayed:
"Some settings for this item may not be available due to permission reasons."
Because of this, users are unable to set or change the "Link Expiration Date" directly within Box Drive.When accessing and configuring the exact same file via the Box Web interface (browser), the link expiration date CAN be modified without any issues.
[Proposed Solution / Expected Behavior]
Align the behavior of Box Drive with Box Web. If a user has the appropriate permissions to modify the link expiration date on the Web interface, they should be able to do so directly within the Box Drive dialog as well.[Business Impact]
This inconsistency forces users to leave Box Drive and open a web browser every time they need to set or adjust a link expiration date, significantly interrupting their workflow and reducing efficiency.Thank you for reviewing this issue!

box for capture: enable volume button to take photos
Our workers where gloves and it's hard for them press the on screen button to take photos.
I would like to be able to take photos with the volume buttonIt seems to work the same way as described in a previous post, but it doesn't work with the BOX app version 7.2.0 on iOS 26.5.2.

Ability to hide a Hub from personal view
I would like the option to hide specific Hubs from my view without leaving or losing access to them. This would allow me to declutter my Hub list and focus on the Hubs most relevant to my current work.
Use Case
- I have access to multiple Hubs but only actively use a few on a regular basis
- Some Hubs are for reference only or used infrequently
- My Hub list has become cluttered, making it harder to find the Hubs I need quickly
Proposed Functionality
- Add a "Hide from view" option for individual Hubs
- Hidden Hubs would not appear in my main Hub list
- Provide a way to access/view hidden Hubs (e.g., a "Show hidden Hubs" toggle or separate section)
- Allow users to unhide Hubs at any time
- Hiding should be user-specific and not affect other Hub members
