Make scroll bar wider
When viewing a CSV file via Box's web portal/app, would love to see the tiny thin scroll bars made wider. (This form won't let me upload a screenshot of exactly what I'm referring to).

Include "Partial Success" file sizes in New Size category
In a Shuttle Transfer Report, items marked as "Partial Success" do not have their file sizes aggregated under the "New Size" category which indicates the total amount of data transferred during that migration job run. This can lead to a seemingly large discrepancy between the job Total Size and the amount of content which was successfully transferred.
Such "Partial Success" items ARE successfully uploaded to Box, but certain file details (e.g. original last modifier) may not have been successfully set in Box. The lack of this file metadata does not change the fact that the files themselves made it to Box. Their file size should therefore be included in the aggregated New Size category to better reflect the total amount of data which was successfully transferred to Box.

I want to get a list of information about Box specification changes and setting values.
I would like a function that allows me to see a list of information such as setting values when Box specifications or settings have been changed.
I understand that at this time there is no way to retrieve list information such as set values.
Therefore, when checking the difference between before and after the change, it is very inconvenient to obtain a capture or other means to check the difference.
Incorporating this functionality will also reduce the time required to prepare for verification.(日本語)

Updating versions from Box Drive seems to be critically broken
Saving over files in box drive used to update cloud with a version, it seems this is being ignored, and cannot be trusted when checking if this update is committed to the cloud. Things have gone seriously wrong with Box Drive integration every since macOS Ventura upgrade.

Box Relay: ability to save draft of workflows without setting all the required fields
When we create new workflows or edit existing workflows in Box Relay, we cannot save draft until we complete all the required fields. So we sometimes have to re-create workflows from the begging if we cannot fill in all the fields.
It would be more convenient if we can save draft without setting all the required fields, especially when we create new workflows.3 votes -
Box Sync support for Apple M1
Box Sync support for Apple M1. We use Box Sync because it gives you the ability to choose which folders you want synced on the computer. Would love Box Sync support for Apple M1

Shuttle - Allow 'overwrite newer files' on destination
in same cases, we need shuttle to have the ability to overwrite files which are 'newer' on the destination. Shuttle currently dosent have a switch to enable this for a migration job and will ignore all of these files.

Make new files/folder immediately searchable. Remove latency.
Make new files/folder immediately searchable. There is massive latency for new files/folders being searchable, which creates a very confusing and unpleasant end user experience.
When a new file/folder is created, it is not immediately searchable. Please fix this.

Automatically apply metadata and tags to folders and files with pulse
Box provides users and organizations the ability to apply tags and metadata; however, trusting all users in an organization to know when and how to apply tags and metadata is not plausible.
Box admins should be able to use Box Relay so that whenever a file or a folder is created/uploaded to a certain section of Box in our organization, then a tag or meta data flag is applied.
Example:
I have a folder called 2021 Tax Documents
Tag I want Applied: 2021 Tax Documents
Example File Name: File AIn the example above, as soon as the example file (FIle A) is uploaded to the 2021 Tax Document Folder, I want to be able to set-up a rule that automatically applies the 2021 Tax Document tag.
This way, I can search for all files with a 2021 Tax Document tag and File A will populate despite not having any of the key words in the file name.

Relay to outside email
I am attempting to create a workflow based on the uploading of documentation into a specific folder that will trigger a notification to our client to retrieve this documentation. However, it will not allow me to add this person although they are currently a contributor to the parent folder.

BoxSign request from Box Drive
It would be nice to send a box sign document straight from Box Drive instead of logging into the web app and doing it from there. We mostly use the Box drive in our company.

Need Permission level between Viewer/Uploader and Editor
Viewer/Uploader is good, but, not good enough for all use cases; and Editor is too much--especially for external collaborators.
External collaborators need to be able to fix problems they accidentally create (e.g. uploading the wrong file) or wanting to change the name of a folder when they realize that the current name may be confusing (who hasn't done that?).
I agree with others' comments that there needs to be a permissions level between Viewer/Uploader and Editor. I can see at least four possible solutions:
1) Allow collaborators to rename a folder/file. This could help with the accidental upload as well since they could add some text to the file/folder name to reflect that it needs to be discarded (e.g., _DISCARD) to make it obvious for clean up later. This adds more maintenance on the editor, but, would be better than nothing.
2) Allow the ability to 'Move' (not delete) a file/folder (say, into an Archived or Discarded folder where external collaborators can move folders/files they created in error.
3) Allow them to mark something as 'discard' (maybe a toggle) that automatically sorts them to the top or bottom for maintenance; or, could automatically put these files/folders into a secondary folder, called DISCARDED (similar to DELETE, but, the editor would have to actually delete them from the DISCARDED folder (or they can auto delete at some timeframe). At least they'd be out of the way and the editor can easily look in there to see what is there. It would prevent accidental deletions as external collaborators should be able to recover items from the DISCARDED folder.
4) Give the admins the ability to create a customized role where they can add capabilities beginning with some permission level. For example, I can start with Viewer/Uploader and create Viewer/Uploader Plus, which has all the Viewer/Uploader permissions PLUS what you want to add, in my case, Move and/or Rename files/folders.
Basically, Viewer/Uploader is good, but, not enough for all use cases. And, Editor is WAY too much--especially for external collaborators.
Thank you for considering!

"Are you sure" pop-up when dragging & and dropping folders
I'd like a pop-up message confirming if I'm sure to appear when trying to drag and drop folders on the web app. Especially in a GxP environment this is important to reduce risk of human error.

Folder lock API applying to sub folders
Currently when you lock the parent folder via the API, and a user deletes that parent folder, the parent folder doesn’t get deleted (due to the API) but the child folders within it gets deleted.
However, this is inconvenient because that parent folder just becomes an empty folder.
When the user tries to delete the locked parent folder, I would like the API to work to the folders below that parent folder so that it doesn't become an empty folder when they try to delete it.1 vote -
Edit User Access permissions - View Options Needed
It would be great to see the following enhancements made to the Edit User Access permissions section of the User page; specifically the 'Select folders this user can access' section:
1) Allow for columns to be Expanded to see the entire folder name
2) Include a sort option to these columns in order to sort by folder name, owner, file size, or Access level.2 votes -
Box Web - make file icons smaller
Prologis would like the large file icons in All Files > recent files to be smaller. As they are now, they aren't very helpful - the previews are too small, and you can't see the full name of the file, making it difficult to identify.
