Images pasted in BoxNotes are not displayed due to the "Shared links expiration settings".
If you have enabled the "Shared links expiration settings", images pasted on BoxNotes will also have that expiration date setting.
Therefore, after the expiration date has passed, images pasted on BoxNotes will no longer be displayed in BoxNotes.
We would like to see the specification changed so that images pasted on BoxNotes are not affected by the "Shared links expiration settings".2 votes -
Box for iOS support for "Universal Control"
Box for iOS doesn't support "Universal Control" in iOS 15 and Mac OS 12.x: this means that I can't drag my cursor from my Mac to my iPad Pro and use it to select and copy text from documents.
Could you please update your app to support the latest OS features?

Accessing external shared links via FTP agents.
I request developer teams to look into the possibility of organising the access to external shareable links also via FTP clients. This would avoid the issue where a shareable link expires or gets blocked by the network setting of the external clients.

Signature logs should also be able to be specified as a trigger condition for Box Relay
Box Relay and Box Sign integration has been released, allowing for automation on signed files.
The current specifications do not allow automated processing targeting signature logs.
In our case, we would like to move not only the signed file but also the signature log to an arbitrary folder.
Therefore, we request that the signature log can also be specified as a trigger condition.

Copy or Duplicate existing groups
Would appreciate the ability to create copies of existing Groups, mainly for its members - not so much the permissions given to that group.
My use case: We've got an "ALL" group that has access to numerous folders. There is one user that does not want access to one of those folders. So I'd like to be able to copy the "ALL" group and remove that user, rather than re-create our "ALL" group which has a lot of members.
There also is no good way to bulk add members to a group. Typing each person is cumbersome, it'd also be nice to have a check list of the user directory so I can select which ones I want to act upon.

Box Note editing enhancements - Cut/Copy/Paste lists, tables, wiki, etc.
Many of the requests I see for Box Notes seem to have one thing in common: The editor is not compatible with other editors or even with itself.
Lists:
- Copying a list from slack, outlook, word, or any other source (especially if it is multi-level) ends up removing all the indentations, numeric/letter/bullet, and other nuances of that list. So, not only can we not import or export an entire box note, we also cannot simply cut and paste a list into and out of box note from other applications.Tables:
- To copy a table row to another table row. The COPY (ctrl-c in Windows) seems to be able to capture multiple cells in a row. However, when we attempt to PASTE (ctrl-v in Windows) that same data into another row in the same table of the same box note, it gets collapsed into one cell!All other meta data is lost, including colors, and any other rich text.
It would be amazing if box note can be an RTF (Rich Text Format) structure with the same copy/paste conventions used by microsoft and other applications. Otherwise, to many of us, this just appears to be a broken tool.
It is a shame that Box Note is soooo convenient! It is great for collaboration/co-editing! It has the files in the same Box spaces as the large files. It gets inserted right alongside the data!
Yet, the editor is not being enhanced at a rate that makes it usable to the masses.
I really hope this usability gets the attention it deserves. Have you considered partnering with microsoft on the editor side of this? Imagine having Box Notes with all the capabilities of word (well, maybe without needing page breaks and page formatting).
Or, if the Box Note editor was a bit more 'wiki-like' to support tables, lists, etc and also had cut/copy/paste, that would be a tremendous improvement!

Even if a group is set as Admins only, Admin wants to invite the group by selecting the folder and click share button.
In the group settings, if Permission Settings is set to Admins Only, Admin can only add this group to collaborate on content from within the admin console. (Invite from share button does not allow Admin to select that group.)

Include .gslides in "Presentation" file type filter
The file types that are under the "Presentation" filter are 'ppt', 'pptx', 'key', 'odp', 'otp', 'pot', 'fodp', 'keynote', and 'pez'.
'.glides' should be included, as .'gdoc' is included in "Documents" and '.gsheet' is included in "Spreadsheets".

Ability to search with symbols on Box Web and Box Drive
We are aware that a single search for a symbol, including ".", cannot be used with Box's search function.
Searching only for symbols will expand the search range and improve the convenience of file searches, so we would like to see this feature implemented.(Japanese)

Why isn't "Last Modified By" criteria an option within Folder and Files report? This information should automatically included. It doesn't make sense why we can't query this information.

Gmail integration
Hello,
I am hoping that the Box interface with Gmail will be improved to the level that the interface is with Microsoft Outlook. Outlook can link to multiple files simultaneously, can link to folders, and leaves off with the last searched item. Working within Gmail has slowed down our process with Box significantly. So much so that I choose not to use the interface but grab the link directly from Box. Please advise when this can be updated/improved. Thanks!1 vote -
Ability to tick checkbox in MS word
It would be great to be able to tick checkboxes on a document created in Microsoft Word without downloading the file, opening it in Microsoft Word, and then reupload it.

Update the email that is sent for Box Sign Requests
Have the email come directly from sender's email., when it comes from the no-reply email address it ends up in the signer's spam or junk folder.

Search for Users Currently on Legal Hold
Currently we are dealing with a matter that has spiraled into a huge undertaking because of the way Legal Holds are implemented. Our client has enabled over 25 Legal Hold policies, each one has an average of 50 users. We have a list of over 20 custodians that we need to know which Legal Hold they are currently on, if any.
There are two ways to implement this:
1 - Allow Admins to see whether the custodian (or any of their data) is currently on a Legal Hold policy, which Legal Hold Policy it is currently on, and why it is on that Legal Hold Policy. Other users can interact with the file which places it on Legal Hold.2 - Provide a better Search function within the Legal Hold section of the Governance platform so that we can search for users who may be on multiple Legal Holds.

Sorting Files Uploaded By File Request
A single file request collects multiple files which all end up in the same folder from many users. There is no automated way to sort this content e.g. In a case where 500 files are submitted. Can a method to automatically sort this be created e.g. upload zones sending content into separate sub-folders or Relay moving groups of content based on metadata into new folders created upon upload

Ability to restrict target users who can be logged in login as user by admin and co-admin
When investigating internal fraud, for example, the login as user function may be used to log in to the user under investigation. Currently, all users can log in if they have login as user privileges.
For example, it is possible to access management user accounts and top secret information.
Therefore, we would like to see a function implemented to limit the target users who can log in.2 votes -
Ability to Edit folder contents but Folder cannot be deleted
Hello,
I am submitting a feature request for the ability to have Folder contents edited and changed (Add remove files), but users who have Editor permissions cannot delete the folder itself. We had an issue where a folder was deleted that has data sent to it via a Python script. The user meant to delete some contents from the folder, but accidentally deleted the folder itself. The folder name was "Doc Upload Test".
I was able to get the folder restored through the Box Support team. If there was a feature for each folder where a checkbox was available that has an option where only the Admin account can remove the folder, would be very helpful. I think the cloud storage provider MEGA offers a similar feature. The users you share the folder with can view your files, and add their own files and folders but not edit, delete or move anyone else's files shared in that folder.

Would like to see all invited parties under collaborators with status (pending), name, email invited, etc.

Display folder sync warning message and revers sync from local folders
Dear Admins,
would it be possible to have an option , warning about all data deletion or when whole box folder is being removed from box, be shown before sync. with local folders? This would prevent data loss.
As well option to sync. from local copy will enable option to easily restore data from Box, this would be appreciated.
