Box Drive Install - Convert Synced Files/Folder to Marked for Offline
After installing Box Drive, the items that were previously synchronized with Box Sync should marked for offline. It is a disincentive for my team to have to resync all these folders. Additionally, the synced link on the web interface does not seem to serve a purpose since it does not reflect the items now marked for offline.

Folder Integration App can't use API to upload file to a folder if user has Uploader permission
- I set the various Uploader permissions (Uploader, Viewer Uploader, Previewer Uploader) on a folder, but was not able to use our Folder Integration Quick Scan app to upload a scanned file to those folders.
- I had to use Owner/Editor permissions to upload a scanned file through our application and the Box API.
Why is Box not letting our application upload a file when the Uploader permission is set on a folder?

Assume we have added collaborators in a respective folder 1 and in folder 1 we created multiple folders inside and now we need to change access of folder to respective collaborator only and not all.. please suggest in this, need a solution immediately.

add the dependencies of a shared folder/file to a group
When U share a file/folder with a group in the group sharing management into the admin console, You don't watch the dependencies and that may become a problem when you share a folder which is named as an existing one.
To better undertand the situation:
Imagine U have a template for a project. Every time You create a new project, You going to use the same template with the same structure. So, every time U share a folder with a group for a new project (i.e PURCHASE), U will watch a list of PURCHASE folders but no information from which project it is linked with.When U share a file/folder with a group in the group sharing management into the admin console, You don't watch the dependencies and that may become a problem when you share a folder which is named as an existing one.

BUG in the move operation: it takes 1000x longer on desktop than on website
on any desktop moving a file is instant
on an iphone moving a photo to an album is instant
therefore we expect instant effect of moving operation
in box that is not the case : move takes considerable time
for example I tried to move 200GB on a box drive where all items were online only, first the window appeared trying to enumerate the files, which kept climbing, as if it was doing the move one file at a time
then, as nothing was happening i stopped the operation
to test if move was a copy+delete like on dropbox i performed the same move operation on the website. it was instant
therefore the box drive and its mobile equivalent are handling move operation the wrong way
so this needs to be fixed to bring box drive on parity with native filesystem behavior and onedriveon any desktop moving a file is instant

folder size
Please show how many sub-folders (the number of folders) in main folder, currently it just shows how many files it contains, it would be really helpful and handy for users.

Search API for exact match using hash
If you have a local file and need to know if the file exists in Box, the filename search isn't reliable to find the exact match. For example, there could be many logo.jpg files. Since the sha1 of the files are known, it would be great to expose it to the search API to find the exact file match.
This would be very useful for tools that help users migrate to Box without creating many duplicates of files.4 votes -
Add "Last Accessed Date" as a file property
Many cleanup/archival processes could be run via the API if this date was quickly accessible. Currently, one needs to look at events or reports to determine this date which is not feasible at scale for reports and Events API only goes back one year.

Download 'cart' or 'shopping basket'
A basket feature would be nice – Sometimes we have to select one or two files from multiple folders, and to have a basket as placeholder before downloading would be useful.
This be something similar to like when you online shop. Instead of “buying items” you are selecting the items you want to download from different locations and then selecting download.

[Fix] Poor support for moving drive and recognizing existing content
I had to disconnect a drive and Box sync broke and has been a massive pain to get working again. When the drive was reconnected, Box couldn't reuse the old folder, and once it started a new folder, I didn't appear to have the option to change it.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Box sync so I could point it at the original directory it used with all the files still in place. It did not recognize any of the files. Instead, it renamed all the folders, downloaded duplicates of everything, and then ran out of space on my cloud storage because it synced all the duplicates back.
Now it's apparent I should just not have attempted to fix it and defaulted redownloading everything from the start, but that shouldn't have to be the case. I imagine this would be a much bigger issue for anyone using more than the 10 GB from a free account.

Group Permission Status for Admins
We would like the Group Permission Status for Admins Only to allow auto-fill to work when sending an invite.

Wrap or hover long owner's name to display whole name
Longer file or Owner names do not display the whole name in the UI
For example Users&Groups > Groups > "Group name" > Edit users.
If owners name like BoxTestAccount(Bostestacconut+new@box.com),
It shows BoxTestAccount(Boxtestaccount@box...

Submitting a Support Ticket
When submitting a ticket with the support site, add the option to submit a ticket specifically for issues with the support site itself. It's possible to classify tickets this way on our end, but not on the user's apparently.

Provide a single API method to upload a file and apply metadata as an atomic operation
Unified Upload API (File and Metadata) - Having a single API call to upload a file (or file(s)) with associated metadata would provide large improvements in error avoidance and development logic. Currently, this process must be completed with multiple API calls, which leaves space for errors and sullies the user experience.

I would like an option to increase the 5GB individual file size limit on non-business accounts.
Hi Box Team,
I run a small media production business (of one), and rely on box for sharing video files with clients. I do my best to keep files under the 5GB limit, but occasionally, I need to share longer/larger files. I've asked the sales team about a tiered plan under the personal account options that would allow for an increase on the limit, but at the moment, that option only exists for business and enterprise accounts. The business account tiers don't make sense for me since I only have one employee (there is a three seat minimum that would be cost prohibitive to me). I currently have to pay for additional cloud storage options in order to share the larger files, so I'd be willing to at least pay more than my $10 per month plan (I find box to be more efficient and user friendly).

Update removed the ability to view notifications on a single page. You have to scroll through them from the top tool bar. Please add back!
The newest update removed the ability to view notifications (@mentions, etc) on a single page. You have to scroll through them from the top tool bar. This makes these difficult to managed properly. This needs to be added back ASAP!
