Exact search queries using quotes should not include wildcards
Currently as per Box's community article, all searches implicitly include trailing wildcards:
"Trailing wildcards are implicitly included in search results because of the way text is indexed. Searching for Bo results in items with the words Box or Boat or Boxer. It is the equivalent of searching for Bo* or Bo% in traditional search engines. Traditional wildcard notation is not supported by Box, such as %ox% "
However, this leads to search results that are both 1) too wide and 2) not intuitive based on search norms
i.e., one would think that searching (with quotes) for " Box " would…

Remove highlighting in snippets from search results that aren't indexed (e.g. Boolean operators)
Currently if you search with a Boolean operator (e.g. AND, OR, NOT), our search does not index those words. However, we still highlight those terms if they appear in the snippets, leading to confusion over whether the search is indexing them or not.

Compliance email archive for external collaborator actions on enterprise owned content
Compliance email is only being sent if managed user makes an action. We would like complaince emails to be sent based on enterprise owned content so that would included external collaborator actions.

Persist settings through non-persistent VDI sessions even if they're not on the same machine
IT admins setting up non-persistent VDI environments want to be able to have users persist settings between machines

Allow the Activity Log (and upcoming Activity Stream) to display who's shared the folder with whom and when

Allow co-owners (not just owners) to extend auto-expiration date for external collaborators.
The primary reason why we have not enabled the auto-expiration for Collaborators is because only folder Owners will receive notifications of expiring collaborators and links, and only Owners will have the ability to extend the expiration date. In our instance, the Primary BoxAdmin account owns all content (and users are not allowed to create root-level folders, they're only co-owners).
If this ability were extended to Co-Owners, then this enterprise setting would be feasible for us. It has to be up to the co-owners to receive the notifications and determine whether or not to extend the sharing (since they have the…

Add link to file location to problem file report page
Many users are prevented from troubleshooting their own problem files because they do not navigate to the actual location of the issue, or they do not really know what file has a problem. This is also a very common sense UX improvement (that would be easy to do)

Box has an open API platform on which all partners can develop integrations. We recommend customers reach out directly to SpringCM to build an integration with Box.

Notify admin when Files/Folder tree report fails because of scale instead of just never populating the report in the Box Reports folder.
Currently the scenario leaves the admin with no next steps.
