Pin, Save, and Organize Box AI Sessions for Reuse
Let us pin, favorite, or save Box AI session conversations so we can get to them more quickly. Perhaps even let us organize them within Collections.
We can currently search and browse our session history, but for those sessions we need to come back to frequently, the ability to favorite them or add them to a collection would let us get to them more efficiently.

Would be great if we could see who has viewed a file. I upload a video, and would like to see which stakeholders have viewed it.

Separate the LLM disablement settings for Box Agents and Custom Agents
With the recent release (Admin model controls for the Box Agent), disabling an LLM also makes it unavailable for selection when creating a custom agent in AI Studio. However, there are cases where customers want to remove an LLM from the models available for Box Agent while still allowing it to be used in custom agents for specific scenarios.

We need a more granular privacy option for Box folders.
When Folder Settings → Privacy → Hide collaborators and their activity from non-owners is enabled, Editors, Viewers, and Previewers see “Someone” in the UPDATED column instead of the real person who last updated a file or folder.
We need to retain this privacy setting because limited-access users must not be able to see:
The collaborator list
Other collaborator names
Viewer or previewer names
Recent-activity avatars
Content Insights or Access Stats
Download, preview, or view activity
However, they need to see the identity of the single user who most recently updated…

Preventing Log Loss Caused by Delayed Events in the Events API
We use the Box Events API to send event logs to Sumo Logic.
We are currently experiencing recurring cases where events that appear in the User Activity Report in the Box Admin Console are not present in the Box event logs collected by Sumo Logic.We asked Sumo Logic to investigate this issue. They explained that the Box Source continuously retrieves events using the position information returned by the Events API. Export or download a snapshot of current admin configuration
Provide a method, by web UI or by API, to download or export a human-readable comprehensive snapshot of the current admin configuration.
Problems this would solve:
1. When working with Box Support, admins now may have to self-report current configuration state. This process is subject to human error. Instead, an exported snapshot would allow admins to provide an inherently valid representation of the current state.
2. Today, Box Reporting can produce records of change events, but for the admin tracking these, there's no record of the prior state. With this new feature, admins could archive point-in-time snapshots of the state…1 vote -

We need to control the ability for external individuals to access the online Box document upload only during business hours.
We need to restrict external users' ability to access the online Box document upload to business hours only. The thought is the admin controls should a) allow for the parameters to be set (M-F 9am-4pm, federal holidays excluded), and b) allow a custom message to be displayed outside of those hours/days.

Multi files for Box Sign with Automate
Box Sign give the possibility to add more than one file for signature in the same flow. With Automate, only one file is available to be added and that is not acceptable.
I generate a doc gen file automatically from a form fields that triggered my Automate.
Then I have to request a signature using Box Sign on that generated file, but I have to add the file I uploaded into my form and it's not possible ?!
Please, give us the possibility to use Box Sign with Automate in the same way as the app.

Implementing a "pause" or "delay" feature in Box Automate outcomes
Currently, all outcomes in Box Automate happen sequentially, but sometimes there's a need for a certain amount of time to pass before the outcome needs to happen.
Creating flexible timeframes such as "after [#] [days/weeks/months]" would be helpful.

Ability to add email groups to sheild threat alerts
Currently it only allows you to add Box admins to the threat alert notifications. Adding email groups means that you don't have to update notifications when people leave the firm.

User Impersonation Fails Without Explaining That Updated Terms Need Acceptance
When impersonating a user who needs to accept updated Terms of Service, Box simply displays “failed to load content.” There’s no explanation of the actual issue or how to resolve it.
I learned the hard way that I had to log in directly to the account and accept the updated terms before impersonation would work. The error gave me no reason to know that was the required fix.
Please handle this gracefully. Clearly state that the user needs to accept updated terms through a direct login before impersonation can continue. A generic loading failure leaves admins guessing what’s wrong and…

Box LFO: Folder Locks, Unpredictable Delays, and No Status Visibility
Box’s LFO process is a serious platform limitation. It locks the folder without providing a clear status, progress indicator, or reliable completion estimate, leaving users in the dark.
I’ve spoken with several people at Box, and I still don’t have confidence that anyone has clearly explained how it works. Does the timing depend on the number of files or the total dataset size? Saying “it’s a combination” doesn’t help me predict whether an operation will take a minute or hours.

Add Folder link in Notification
When adding a Notification outcome in Box Automate workflow, it would be good to have the option to add the destination folder or file link in the notification. Currently, it's possible to add only the plain text of the folder name.

Bring Box Relay's Dynamic Approver Selection Capability to Box Automate
We would like the ability to specify approvers dynamically when launching a Box Automate workflow from the "Start Workflow" action on a file or folder.
Currently, Box Relay supports selecting approvers at the time a workflow is started, but Box Automate does not provide a similar capability. In Box Automate, approvers must be defined in advance as part of the workflow configuration, which limits flexibility and reusability.

Allow Customizable Page Icons
Add customizable page icons for Box Hubs. Currently, you can only select a single icon and it applies to all pages within your hub. It would be great to be able to customize the page's icon to be more inline with the page contents. For example if the pages is about document approvals, we could customize the icon to be a uploaded image of a stamp.
I think this would make the hub feel much more professional and easier to navigate.

Update search bar to allow search for section headers & page content
We are creating an Onboarding Hub and if a user is looking for a specific page or section it is not possible to simply use the search bar. As of now, you can only find files or folders that match the text.
But what if we want to show the entire hub page's content or a section to them? It could have some relevant information that is not included inside the linked files. This feature would make it much easier for an end user to navigate a hub and would make it much more appealing for various use cases.

Check boxes for Tasks
Not sure if this is Notes or not... but when someone assigns a task... you should give the ability to check them off vs. having to go thru the list each and every time you look for a task. It is VERY cumbersome!!!
