Send Box Sign requests on behalf of another person.
I would like to be able to have someone send a sign request on my behalf from my email address. I would like to be able to approve a document for signature, then have an Exec Asst send the request out as if it came from me.

To streamline the data upload process to the BOX app on the iPad, you can follow these steps:

Scheduling documents with Box Sign
It would be very beneficial for us to be able to schedule documents that require review and signature to be sent at a predetermined time. We use SIgn to send people involved in our investigations (higher ed Title IX) documents, so it is easier to preschedule things then have to do them at various times.

Content Explorer Default View Property
Box Content Explorer - allow an attribute to set default view to Grid (Thumbnail) view.
This view option is available on the Embed iframe, but strangely not an option for Content Explorer - means that all of my users need an extra click each time). I cannot trigger a click as Content Explorer is already in an iFrame

Microsoft Office
When collaborating on Office documents shared via Box we're unable to track changes. It would be nice to have this enabled. Essentially the same functionality as if we were working within Sharepoint.

About the display when Box is opened from the Team mobile app with the mobile screen mode "dark mode".
I use my mobile to access Box on the Teams mobile app.
When the mobile screen mode is set to "Dark Mode", the screen will appear dark when the "Box Files" option on the Teams mobile app is selected and the box is opened, making it impossible to see file names, etc.
Please improve the Box so that it can be used in dark mode.（Japanese）

Gallery
I share albums of photos which are hosted in a box folder. It would be great if the page that I share could look like a very nice gallery layout similar to a Google photos album where some photos are bigger and some are smaller. Rather than the UI of a grid layout with filename. To have an option to to view like this when sharing

Dataroom Indexing
Similar to other virtual dataroom software solutions, Box.com should be able to autoindex files. This is a very basic capability that other solutions like Egnyte, Firmex and Sharefile are able to do. The reason this is important is so that you can direct an external party to look for a file at a specific index/location such as 1.1.5.6.4. When a client is viewing on their phone in browser, the video should go full screen when they hold their phone horizontally.
I have clients who view our videos on their phone everyday. I can’t control if they have the box ap or what phone/browser they use. But they should be able to view our videos full screen horizontally. Currently it will go full screen Vertically, but if they move their phone horizontally it is a weird zoomed in look that is not full screen.

Show full file names within iOS app
The current iOS mobile app by design only shows the first 10-12 characters of file names in portrait mode. It is not much better in landscape mode. This makes the app very hard to work with if you have many files which have the same first 20-50 characters. It should be possible to view the full file names in the iOS app.

Create one of "Boxファイル" and "Box Files" tabs
In Teams V2 integration, when you add a Box app to a team from the left menu, Apps >Box> Add to Team > Select the team you created > Set Tab, you may see "Boxファイル" and "Box Files" tabs created.
Please improve the functionality so that only one of the tabs is created, as users may be confused as to which tab to use.4 votes -

I want to set up a specific Excel file so that it can only be opened in Excel Online. I want to reduce the risk of disrupting collaborative editing.

default file request webpage for child folders
We would like to create a default File Request Webpage Template that automatically applies to every folder we create under the parent folder rather than having to Copy the File Request Webpage.
We expect the root parent "Request File Webpage" to be the default for all child folders created new under the parent folder...
We want the exact same layout and fields on every "Request File Webpage" for every child folder under the parent.
Not the link, but the Webpage layout and fields.

I have some files sorted into collections. It would be great if I could select all the files and tag them.
Currently you have to tag each file in a collection individually. If you select all the tag option disappears.

Service Account searchable in User and Group
We would like to be able to search service account in the User and Group, Admin Console.

Be able to Block specific filetypes from being uploaded to Box
Allow for an organization-wide policy to block specific filetypes from being uploaded to Box, or at least prevent them from being uploaded/moved to specific folders with specific classifications.

Quota Notifications for End Users
I would like a way to set up different thresholds where a user can be notified that they are getting close to exceeding their quota limit. Give me the option to allow notifications at 95% and 99% and then every time they have hit their quota limit when they are someone else adds files to something that they own. I would also like to see warnings added for collaborators when they add files to another person's shares that indicate that they have hit a quota limit for the owner of the folder and give them a warning that they need…
