pdf on box is downloadable, so the hard work of authors is not protected and can be distributed. Box must prevent this.
I was able to download a protected pdf on box. I obtained it from Cambridge. I am a school teacher, they gave me a box link to their book which they said I can use for a free months. But I was able to download the pdf. Box must make its embedded pdfs more protected to prevent illegal distribution of ebooks.

Universally apply multiple templates to a file
Universal metadata fields:
Today, metadata tagging is not universal. This customer sets the metadata tags for particular folders, and one of the universal tags is Community Name. They want to set up that metadata list on multiple file hierarchies; but they can't currently use the same metadata lists over and over again.
Not every employee can see entire file structure; it's not owned by one person; when you define metadata as a list in Box - you apply it at a folder level, but we have non-overlapping folders that need same metadata.

whitelist external users for File Request Link
In business you frequently work with external partners or agencies and need to have the ability for those entities to manage a File Request Link. Limiting the File Request Link to just managed users limits the collaboration ability of the business needs.

Tale over the settings in shield trial mode
Currently, the trial mode classification and settings will disappear at the end of the trial period.
If we have a Shield contract, we would like to take over its classification and settings.By eliminating the need to set them up again in the production environment, we can make a smooth transition.

Cookies in an iframe will be treated as 3rd party.

a better way to handle people wanting to collaborate with you - scams
Once scammers have your email address you receive a TON of "user x added you to collaborate with" communications and it is very tedious to remove (decline) them, as you have to do it one by one, each taking multiple clicks. make a way for me to "select all" those who want to collaborate with me and decline them ALL at once. I'm so close to just deleting my box account as I get 2-3 notifications of people (scammers) wanting to collaborate with me and takes me a long time to decline them all.

Ability to edit a box note from within an iframe or something in salesforce.

Approval/Denial Dialog Should Appear on Same Monitor as Browser for Better User Experience
Change the behavior so that the approval/denial dialog appears on the same monitor as the browser where you ran UI Elements Open With With Box Edit to open the file. Currently, this dialog always shows up on the primary monitor. This is sometimes bad experience like missing dialog.

Ability to create a Bookmark file within Box.
We'd like to get a feature like creating a shortcut on Windows,
- There is an option to create a bookmark on each file
- People can select folder where created bookmark file is located into

New app version
Could you go back t the 5.1.0 version...
We lost the page number up there in the preview, so you don't know where you are... and in the 5.1.3 the accesibility tool for blind people doesn't work. Que you do the gesture sliding two fingers down the screen it take you back to the first page of the document and sais there is nothing to be read un tha document.
Give us back the 5.1.0 version!!!!

Box Content Preview: Allow File to be Renamed in Preview UI Element
Files can only be renamed in the Content Explorer, requiring navigation away from the file to rename while in the Content Preview element. The request is to allow files to be renamed while previewing the file.

create folder
Can we create a new folder that way we can organize documents we upload onto BOX? like if i have a bunch of pictures from a specific vacation, and other pictures from other vacations, i'd rather each picture be in specific folders rather than all over the place and i have to guess when and where the picture or file is and where it belongs to.

Ability to insert picture from Box on Office apps.
Office apps (Excel, Word, PPT) have a feature where we can import image from Online resources such as OneDrive, Bing search, Facebook and Flickr. We want Box to be the available option in this.

Remember sort order for a folder
Remember the sort order chosen for a folder, whether by date or by name. Some folders will always need to be sorted one way or the other - currently have to re-sort multiple times a day when going back and forth between folders.

Shared link works on desktop but fails on mobile
I received a Box link from a contact in the form https://app.box.com/s/[string]/folder/[string]. Clicking this link in iOS Mail app opened a Box web page in Safari with the message "This shared file or folder has been removed." I tried to resolve this by installing the Box app. Clicking the link now opened the Box app with a message telling me I must log in to access my content. This would not be possible for recipients without a Box account.
