We want to restore a file by ourselves in Box Drive, when our accidentally move/delete it.
When using Box Drive, we often move/delete file(s) by mistake!
We want easily check the history of actions taken to moved/deleted contents, in order to easily restore it to its original location in case of a mistake.

Enable the selection of permissions when "Specify when started" is chosen in Relay task assignment
When creating a workflow that is started manually in Relay, if you select [Assign a Task] as the result and turn on [Specify when started], the default permission for inviting assignees is fixed to Viewer.
Changing the permission to invite the person in charge to an editor every time when starting manually is cumbersome, so I would like the option to select editors as the default when creating a Relay.-in Japanese-

We want to be able to see the origin folder of a file request link.
By implementing features such as a button that allows users to navigate to the originating folder from the file request link, We would like to make it clear which folder the file request link was issued from.

DocGen ability to create fillable PDFs
DocGen is at odds with many of our current workflows. Our users collaborate on fillable pdfs and exchange information via the activity pane/comments while filling out forms before sending for Box Sign.
We would like to be able to collect all the initial information with Box Forms and generate via DocGen but still allow for users to update information after the form is generated.

Enable Third-Party Generated Preview Content
Please provide a mechanism that allows third-party applications to generate the PDF, JPEG, and text content that is normally produced by the Representation API.
Currently, Box AI can only be applied to a limited set of file extensions supported by Box services, preventing it from reaching its full potential. If Box AI were able to consume preview images or structured text generated and uploaded by third parties, agents would be able to interpret industry-standard files that Box does not natively support, such as AutoCAD files. This would greatly enhance the strength and versatility of the platform.
Please open a pathway for third parties to convert otherwise unusable binary files into meaningful, AI-readable content.

We want to enable a custom app partially by specifying users/groups
A feature has been released for integrated apps that allows you to partially enable them by specifying groups or users, but we would like a similar feature for custom apps.

Video Watermarking preserved upon download
In the Video Watermarking feature, have the option for those with download/edit capability to retain the watermark. I.e. preserve the watermark when downloaded by content editors or co-owners.

Annotation types are lacking compared to other ECM platforms.

I would like to be able to set dynamic values for comments in approval tasks/general tasks/notifications and arbitrarily set them at the time of assignment.
Example 1: In a workflow that is manually started and assigned an approval task, an arbitrary comment can be set at startup.

Create API's for Box Forms to automate field completion.
Create API's for Box Forms so that customers can set them up to have certain fields auto populated. For example, if a user/student is logged into a system and needs to fill out a Form, they want to auto-populate the information that is available via SSO for example. So when user/student opened the form the Name, Email, Departement, etc fields could be auto -populated.

Selection to automatically enable metadata cascade policy and autofill
It would be very helpful to have options to enable the cascade policy and autofill on the metadata policy. I would want it to be a selection so it's not enabled by default, but can be if I choose. When applying a policy to many folders, which we do often, this is adds a lot of time to the process. Thank you.
