  1. Expose Favorites in Box Drive

    Favorites are becoming more and more popular now that they're better exposed (in the left rail) in the new Web App.

    As such, users expect to access their Favorites list regardless of which endpoint they're using - webapp (supported), mobile (supported), or desktop (not supported via Sync or Box for Desktop).

    REQUEST: Add a 'Favorites' view to Box for Desktop content (somehow) that allows the user to view only their Favorites (files + folders) just like they do in the webapp.

  3. Visible indication (as a tooltip or a tag) on the folder helps the user identify who shared / who is the owner of the folder.

  4. Reduce considerable increase in file size when watermarking content

    Expected behavior that watermarking files will convert files to pdf upon download (if the user is not a collaborator) and greatly increase the file size.

  8. Box Drive install to be shown as "Box Drive" instead of "Box"

  11. Folders inside of Box folder should respect global folder view settings (e.g. icon size, etc.)

    This is a known limitation of Box Drive (as documented here: https://community.box.com/t5/Box-Drive-Known-Issues-and/Windows-Specific-Known-Issues-nbsp-for-Box-Drive/ta-p/37355, issue #3).

    We have all of our users experiencing issues with finding content & adopting Box as a result of this issue.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
    While all our products are available in Brazilian Portuguese, adding support for European Portuguese is something that is currently not on our immediate roadmap.

  14. Setting which prevents users from being able to delete commenting

    Business unit has a requirement to prevent users from deleting comments to comply with audit requirements.

    We were suggested using user activity reports to see when people had deleted comments, reactively - but we do not want to build a process to generate a user activity report to reactively investigate a case.

    Although this suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap, please reach out to Google to communicate your request. 

  16. Allow Special characters to be searchable in content manager

    The ability to search with the filename and extension within quotes, i.e. workshop.one

    Right now, search separates the two and makes it difficult to locate the file, as it would be searching for "workshop one"

  20. Allow folder permissions / account permissions to be copied to another user.

    We hired a new admin. As an executive, I want my admin to have access to all files I have in my Box account.

    Is there a way to copy his access to the new admin?
