Cannot see # of files in current folder (without subfolders)
In order to get the # of files in a given folder, I have to look at the total files for that folder from the parent directory, and go through each subfolder and subtract from the total. This is a very silly way to do this and seems to be an oversight. Can BOX add this data?
Same thing applies to folder size as well.
The "Details" tab should include: Current folder: # of files, Current folder: size, Current folder / subfolders : # of files, Current folder / subfolders: size.

The possibility to use a Box Sign template as part of a workflow in Power Automate would allow automatizing key parts of processes (i.e. fill in a form and receive a request to sign a document)

Comments should copy over when files are copied from one folder to another
Not sure why this has changed, however, when copying files from one folder to another (inside a parent folder) it would be great if the comments would also copy over. They used to, up until mid-2021. For example, I have files I share for approval in a working project, that I copy into an ASSETS folder after approval

Enable us to tag folders with specific colors, to indicate whether they're populated or not.
I would like to be able to tag folders (or choose their literal color, green red blue etc) to indicate whether or not they're complete, incomplete, populated, etc. My company often uses Box to sort invoices and W9 forms for contractors we hire on individual projects, and tracking down all that paperwork can be tedious. If I can, for example, color a folder Grey if it's empty, Yellow if it has an invoice but is missing a W9, and Green if it's fully populated, it'll save me the trouble of having to manually enter each folder and check.

Ability to filter recent files by file extension
It would be great to be able to filter files in the Recent Files section by extension, access date, etc. Currently you can't sort anything. My use case was easy. I knew I had access one Excel file one week before but couldn't remember the name nor the real date. instead of scrolling in the whole list, I could have selected "Excel / spreadsheet file" to see only these files for a faster search.

About the Delete All Button in the Recycle Bin.
When pressing the Delete All button in the Recycle Bin, the deletion process fails and an error occurs.
It was an answer to the problem that occurred in the following procedure from Box Support (ticket number: 2694308),
- Among the folders in the parent-child relationship, the child folder is deleted first.
- Delete parent folder after.
- Folders of parent-child relationship are displayed separately in the trash box as different folders.
- In this state, if [Delete All] is pressed, an error occurs.
The Delete All button is not available until you delete the parent-child…

tagging/assigning comments on a document (similar to OneDrive)
In One Drive you are able to add comments directly within the document, and tag people/ assign the comment to a person using the @ sign and it will send them a notification.

Responding to question on the comments section
it would be good to respond to questions asked in the comments section. Or like, thumbs up etc. Currently you have to start a new comment to respond to a question and it doesn't flow.

Ability to preview contents of the files contained in the zip file
Box can list all the folders and files contained in the zip file, however it doesn't allow us to preview the contents of each files contained in the zip file.
We need to download the zip file to preview the contents.It would be better to have ability to preview the contents of the each files so that we can complete our work within Box.

Ability to Pin Box note to the top of a box folder
I would like to be able to pin a box note to the top of the folder list within a box folder. (I set up folders for project teams and I generate a box note for the document and information management guidelines for the team. It would be good if it was at the top of the list (or pinned to the side).

Adding a function to manage tasks in BoxDrive
Since we mainly use BoxDrive, we would like to be able to conduct task management from BoxDrive as well.
Specifically, we would like to be able to check the tasks assigned to us and the tasks we have sent from Box Drive, just like "My Tasks List" and "Tasks Inbox" on Box Web.＜BoxDriveでタスク管理できる機能の追加＞
BoxDriveをメインで利用しているため、タスク管理もBoxDrive上から実施できるようにしてほしい。

Remove Approved Integration API as Suspicious in Shield Suspicious Location
Similar to the pulse below, I would like Shield Suspicious Location to not mark already integrated application IP address as suspicious because there are too many noise due to this.

Include file and folder IDs in user activity report
Running a user activity report for a deleted user shows the parent folder names the user was removed from, but no ID so there is no way to determine which folder they were removed from. (i.e. a searching for the parent folder called ACE returns 180 such folders).

Option to enforce Box account login on public shared link
Provide an option to require a user to login to a Box account in order to access a public shared link. This becomes useful when you want to record a specific access audit trail but do not have a specific person in mind and therefore cannot invite them as a collaborator

Ability to edit the Admin Contact e-mail address
I understand that the 'Admin Contact' is always the e-mail address of the primary admin account and cannot be changed.
We think it would be useful to be able to amend this to an alternate e-mail address (e.g. our Helpdesk) both for support productivity and security.

Cancel a direct upload in progress through API
When a direct upload begins via an API, there is no option to stop/cancel the upload while it is in progress. A file can only be deleted after a successful upload.
Provide an option to stop/revert upload via an API. If a user realizes that he/she has uploaded the wrong file and wishes to cancel the upload while in progress is not possible.
Canceling an upload while in progress is possible through box webpage but not through via.

Warn users that annotations will not be added to a Word document as comments
Since Annotations do not get added to Word documents as comments, a warning should be presented to users stating this to avoid any confusion by the user who may be expecting this to happen.

Automatic update of Box tools from the company LAN via a proxy.
Box Tools automatic update fails in an environment where Internet communication is performed from the company LAN via a proxy.
Please change the BoxTools update "Box Edit Upgrade Service" to the specifications that read the ProxySetting of CurrentUser in the Local System and communicate.
With the current specifications, automatic updates are not possible.
Therefore, every time there is a version update, a manual update is performed, which takes a lot of man-hours.(OS used: Windows10)
We have verified and confirmed the following. (The log file has also been confirmed.)

Allow users to click outside of the Refresh File pop-up box without having to click Cancel or Ok
Currently you can't do anything on the screen without clicking one of the options on the Refresh File pop-up box that appears after editing. 90% of the time, I'm trying to leave that screen and I don't need to see the updated version because I just edited it. If that box could disappear if I click anywhere on the screen, that would be ideal.

Box for Office Logs
Log files are stored with annoying date stamp format. Log files should be stored like BoxExcelLogDate.txt rather than BoxExcelLog.txtdate.
