Exact search queries using quotes should not include wildcards
Currently as per Box's community article, all searches implicitly include trailing wildcards:
"Trailing wildcards are implicitly included in search results because of the way text is indexed. Searching for Bo results in items with the words Box or Boat or Boxer. It is the equivalent of searching for Bo* or Bo% in traditional search engines. Traditional wildcard notation is not supported by Box, such as %ox% "
However, this leads to search results that are both 1) too wide and 2) not intuitive based on search norms
i.e., one would think that searching (with quotes) for " Box " would…

'Hide Collaborators' allows users to see who updated a file/folder if the updating user is an owner
On the 'Hide Collaborators' option, the text note says "If enabled, only the folder owner and co-owners will be able to view collaborators and their activity in the folder. This also removes the ability for non-owners to invite collaborators".
In reality, a user is able to see the name of a user who has last updated a file/folder but only if that user who last updated is the owner. I feel like the above definition isn't clear enough and makes it seem as though only owners/co-owners can see collaborators.

Ability to opt-out from Group collaboration or hide group collaborated folders under All Files.
If collaborated as Group, the folder appears under All Files whether the user want to see it or not.
After a while, all of these folders would show up under the user's All Files and would be very hard to manage.
Thus, ability to opt-out from group collaboration or ability to "hide" folders under All Files is needed.

Create annotations that aren’t visible to other users
Annotation that only the user/owner can see and not to other collaborators.
5 votesThe overall request for the ability to annotate files in Box is tracked here: https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778-feedback/suggestions/35984509-ability-to-annotate-markup-files-documents-ima
Specific to this request, we do not plan to expose the ability to mark up a file (with highlights, drawings, etc.) with annotations that aren’t visible to other users. The primary use case for annotations in Box is to share feedback on a given file, like these examples:
“Update this paragraph to be here instead” on a document or “Change the color of this to blue” on an image -
Ability to limit shared link access to a folder at the folder settings level
Currently there is a setting that allows you to limit a folder to collaborators only. The additional setting to limit the settings for access to people in the company or higher at the folder settings level would provide more granular control.

Thanks for the suggestion! We are working on a few other alternate solutions to tags, so our investment is somewhat limited in tagging currently. As a result, I’ll mark this suggestion as ‘not planned’.

Add additional collaborator role between "Editor" and "Viewer Uploader" that allows a user to delete
The ability for a Viewer Uploader to also delete content
5 votesThanks for the suggestion! Based on the current information provided, we don’t currently have a feature like this planned.
We’d love to hear additional use case context from interested users, however, in why the need exists to have Viewer Uploaders be able to ‘delete’ without simply raising them to ‘Editor’ level. Any additional information would be very helpful.

While we are considering expanding our Box offerings in Salesforce Experience Cloud, the experience cannot be entirely OOB - there will need to be some level of customization/coding, so this is not planned for now.
Please reach out to your Account teams or to me at kkung@box.com if you have specific Product requests regarding Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Create Legal Holds with the same name as Deleted Legal Holds.
As a Governance client, I would like to create legal hold policies that have the same name as a previously deleted policy. Currently, this is not possible and will bring up a duplicate error. This is important as we are about to add new policies with the same names for consistency reasons.

Prohibit that an external collaborator deletes files
When some user invites an external collaborator as "Editor" to some folder, the external user can delete any files in the folder. The deleted file is sent to the external collaborator's trash. It's not good for some security-centric customer, so they need the function to prohibit that an external collaborator deletes files to protect their assets.
5 votesThis should be managed through our existing permissions framework rather than a specific policy. If an external user deletes a file, it also lives in the owner’s trash folder who is a managed user in this instance.
