1. Email to folder failure notifications

   Currently if an email to folder upload fails the notification tells you that an event happens but no information about what address was emailed or the target folder to assist in identify the problematic process.

   Information can be obtained through a support ticket, but it would be quicker if at a minimum the folder ID was included in the email. Would be great if other information about the sender could be included as well, but I'd take just getting the folder ID as a start.

   Present notification only includes the following:

   Your attempt to email file(s) into 'a folder' was not successful. This could be due to the following reasons:
   - Your collaboration privilege did not allow you to upload into the folder
   - A file of the same name already exists and the folder owner disabled file-overwriting for this folder
   - The file you attached exceeded file size limit
   - The owner of this folder does not have sufficient space in their account
   - You did not attach a file

2. Ability to schedule outcomes in Relay relative to the trigger date

   Rather than selecting a specific date for an event to occur, add the ability to schedule an outcome (e.g., send notification) on a date relative to the date the trigger occurs. For example, Trigger = file upload, Outcome = send notification 180 days after file upload.

3. List of folders with overridden email notifications

   Many users choose to override the default email notifications for certain box folders but then forget which folders they chose the override setting. It would be nice under the Notifications section to list which folders the user has chosen to override email notification settings.

4. Ability to select external users who are collaborating on a folder to be notified of workflows created in Relay

   Currently, it is possible to set external users as notification recipients for workflows created in Relay only under certain conditions.

   Conditions：
   　・The folder/file is owned by the creator of the Relay Workflow.
   　・It is the external user who is invited to this folder/file that is set as the notification destination.

   There are many situations in which we want to send notifications to external users in Relay workflows.
   However, in a tenant running a closed folder configuration, it is rare that the workflow creator is the owner of the folder.

   For managed users who are collaborating on folders and who have Relay available, all of them should be able to select external users for workflow notifications.

5. Box Relay

   Allow metadata and other substitutions in the message body and subject lines of the Assign a Task and Send a Notification outcomes. We would like to be able to customize message body and subject lines with one or more metadata items. As an example, if we have a workflow that is being run for each of several subject people (think onboarding a group of new employees), the tasks will be assigned to the same user for multiple people. We'd like to add name of target employee in the subject line or body of the outcomes.

6. ability to upload direct from a clients google drive to Box

   We have found that most of our clients use google drive for storage of content for us to work with. We could really use a tool that assists us in transfers direct from google drive to our Box

7. Reminders for past due tasks

   Adding a Due Date to a task gives a visual within the notification email & the activity slider. Could we add logic to this date where it will send out a reminder as past due and/or change the assignee’s name to red?

   This suggestion has been delivered and is generally available (GA).  Due date changes to red when a task is overdue, and assignees will receive email reminders that the task is outstanding.

8. Specific Text Box Area for Notifications

   Problem: Whenever a notification popup shows up (file is done uploading, file has moved, etc) it blocks access to a lot of functionality in the upper part of the screen - even something that is to the left or right of the notification but is not covered up.

   Rather than having a popup notification to tell you that an event has finished (such as a file or folder being moved), instead create a static notification area to report to.

   We would like to have the feature to customise the location of Box Tools folders such as logs and cache folder. We want to have those under drive of other volume letter instead of the default location under C drive. This is because the storage size of C drive can be limited.

10. Classify multiple Box Shield alerts at the same time

    We recently had a user upload a lot of content to their Box account in one go during a migration from local file storage to cloud storage. There was a lot of really old data that Box detected as being malicious (over 700 files). Based on spot checks throughout the data, we've determined that the data is not actually malicious and is a false positive. With the current UI, it'd take forever to mark each of the 700+ alerts as a false positive. It would be much nicer to be able to multi-select the alerts from the main list and submit them all as false positives in one go.

11. When a folder is moved to another folder, user would like to receive a notification when the folder is moved from the folder settings.

    I would like to receive notifications in the following three cases.

    1. Notification when a user is moved to another folder. (Reason: Because there are many cases where other users are moved by mistake and there is no way to immediately confirm the move.)

    2. Notification when an error occurs while moving an item. (Reason: To be able to determine the situation in which the move failed so that the next action can be taken more easily.)

    3.Notification after the move is completed. (Reason: To be able to confirm that the move is complete, so that it can be judged that the move operation has not stopped.
    　
    I think 3 is possible with Relay, but I think it would be difficult to work with it because Relay needs to be applied to each folder one by one.

    I would like to see the above features implemented.

12. Ability to to delete saved previous versions

    I am burning through storage because Box is saving every version of a file I am working on. There is currently no easy way to cut down and delete all previous versions of a file, and going through one by one is time consuming (and after I did, did not seem to decrease the folder size anyways). It would be awesome if there was a way to delete all previous versions of a file and only keep the most recent one.

13. Prevent file duplication when using template and file replacement

    Box Sign allows the creation of templates that replace the underlying document within a signature request / template while keeping the existing field placeholders in place.
    However, using a different document than the pre-set document will result in duplicate files identical to the original document in the destination folder of the Sign document.
    This means that one unnecessary file is generated each time the template is used once.
    If a template is used 100 times, there can be as many as 100 unnecessary files!
    Of course, this will not occur if no files are replaced. However, it is common to replace an existing document with another and use the Sign template.

    What we really need is a Sign template with the following items set without the documents.
    -Signatures & Fields
    -Recipients
    -The save location

    *The save location should be freely specified, not be the same as the template storage folder.

    Signでは、既存のフィールド・プレースホルダーを保持したまま、署名リクエスト/テンプレート内の基礎となるドキュメントを置き換えるテンプレートを作成することができます。
    しかし、事前にセットされたドキュメントとは異なるドキュメントを使用することで、保存先フォルダに元の文書と同じファイルが重複して作成されます。
    これは、テンプレートが1回使用されるたびに、不要なファイルが1つ生成されることを意味します。テンプレートが100回使用されれば、不要なファイルは100個にもなります！
    もちろん、ファイルを置き換えない場合はこのようなことは起こりません。しかし、既存の文書を別の文書に置き換えてSignテンプレートを使用することは一般的です。

14. Forcing a page refresh when access is revoked

    Currently within the webapp, if someone created a public link and scope of the link access changes from "People with the link" to either of the more restrictive options, the user can still view contents of the page despite getting an updated floating notification that says "Sorry, you no longer have access to this note."

Currently it's confusing, since the signers and cc recipients gets directly a copy of the fully executed copy, but there's no way for the signers to determine who gets a fully executed copy, which adds to the confusion. This is very useful for viewing executed pdf from a mobile device (no need to signin to Box sign app which is cumbersome esp when SSO and MFA is enabled)

    Citrix RightSignatture has this feature and it's really useful.

17. Tasks in relay are owned by Relay owner rather than workflow initiator

    Currently tasks have owner and assignee. The owner is always relay owner, who gets notifications when there are any changes to the task which may not be ideal.

    Allow for an option to have the task owner be the workflow initiator instead.

18. permanently purge file version history

    Hello,

    We have a use case that we use box as a temporary storage location in a workflow. But once the workflow is finished, we would like to purge the information but "keep" the same boxfileid. We thought by deleting the version history, we would have achieved this. But it turns out the deleted version history is restorable.

    I am wondering if it is possible to
    (1) optionally make a file "not" able to store version history
    (2) or optionally permanently delete a version

19. Boolean search function to be applicable to tags

    Would love to use my Box as a Digital Asset Manager but the tag system really needs a boolean search function.

    Boolean searching is used to help find search results faster and with more precision. Boolean searching uses operators: words like AND, OR, and NOT.

    We might have to take pour storage else where due the cost of having both a Box account and a DAM.

20. People who reassign should still receive emails about that document

    My workflow requires me to send documents on to agents, who review documents before sending on to their clients to sign (via 'reassign').

    After reassigning, the agent no longer receives information about the document. This seems counterintuitive, and isn't in line with other online document signature services. I can't think of a reason why you would need to be removed from the email chain like this. If you no longer need to know about the document, you can simply ignore the final email about its completion, but if you do, currently you would have to rely on someone still in the chain to email it to you somehow, by downloading/forwarding, etc.

    If there's a legitimate reason to remove yourself from the chain like this, it should be an option at the point of 'reassign' - a checkbox to 'Stop receiving emails regarding this document' or similar, and the default should be to stay in the chain.
