Watermarking files from Box Drive
Currently, marking a file to be watermarked is only supported on the Box webapp. This is a request to be able to watermark files from Box Drive.

Word Document preview blurry
Text in Word document previews is awfully blurry and splotchy.

Get details on shared link without owner
Airbnb and other companies when going through a large
deprovision of accounts run into issues where someone shares a link of the file after the owner is
no longer there and the collaboration is removed. But with just the file link, there is no way for the admin to get anymore details on the file.The feature request is the ability to get more details on a file through the link.

External collaborator redundant expiration notice
If a Box folder is created in one Box org. and external collaborators are added, they’re already set to expire depending on the rules.
If you move the folder to another org., and the new org has the same domain as the added collaborators that were set to expire, they still get the expiration notice, even though they shouldn’t expire because the new org. matches the added collaborators.

Upload verification prompt for sensitive files
Just curious about adding a upload prompt, When you start the upload process you either copy and paste or browse to the file, once you click the file to upload the system automatically uploads it without prompting you to see if that is the file you actually want to upload. With sensitive content its sometimes better to verify the file to upload.

WebApp UI Change phased release for users
The ability to phase users in waves over to the new UI versus all or nothing deployment. This would be in accordance with USAA's internal release process.

Auto-refresh webapp after upload
Auto-refresh page upon upload - Currently, the ability to view/edit metadata from the folder level only works after the page has been refreshed following an upload. It would be good to have the page automatically refresh after upload.

1 : Collaboration should included list of all collaborators irrespective if they are directly invited or added through waterfall;l permission model .
2: Collaborator report should include file level collaboration report as well .

Add "Dimensions" info under "File properties"
To be able to see the dimensions of an image is an extremely valuable feature for designers to review and "QC" all of the marketing assets without having to download all the files.
28 votesThank you for the suggestion. While we definitely understand the value of displaying dimensions for image files, this functionality is not currently planned on our near term roadmap. Please continue to add comments and suggestions here to help us prioritize in the future.

The menu of actions [link/comment] on text selection is confusing
After trying to post a link, and by mistake making a comment instead, I realized that that my confusion is caused by the fact that in HTML, you insert a link with <a> as the first character... so the icon Box presents for a comment should not have "a" in it.

Web Interface Search Bug
The web interface won't let you select filters or check boxes from the pop-up menu when searching using Safari. Seems like a bug, as it used to work.

Sharing Content to Alternate Email Address
Currently when sharing content via email address, if the address used is a secondary email on their account, the UX is to show that the email address is for an external user, rather than a user in your box tenant. Additionally, the full name of the user does not resolve, leading users to believe that the address they selected is inaccurate.
All alternate email addresses should be treated as searchable attributes that bring up the user profile rather than just the primary.

Update Box Sync to ignore temporary save files from Terramodel (*.~pr)
Trimble Terramodel is a CAD program similar to AutoCAD or BricsCAD and saves a copy of the main drawing file (PRO files in the case of Terramodel, DWG in the case of AutoCAD) and renames the extension ~PR (AutoCAD equivalent is BAK).
Box needs a simple way of toggling the option to ignore certain file types such as these to prevent syn errors and long scanning sessions during sync.

Go back to the old navigation. The new left hand navigation is horrible. Please fix.

List of All Folders that I own.
New Feature to allow individual users to pull a Report of all the folders that they personally "Own".
The reasoning behind this is due to the fact that Lotus Notes Teamrooms are being sunset, and BOX is becoming the repository for many Accounts Contractual Data. From a business controls perspective, "Owners"must now must ensure that they "Secure" confidential contractual data via folder Settings. Since BOX has been around for some time, we could have access to hundreds of folders, and it is very time consuming to check which are the ones we "Own".

Ability to Remove Collaborator Expiration via web app or API
Collaborator expiration was turned on for a short period of time now we only have the option of extending the date the collaborator will be removed. The user would like this removed completely even though I can set the to expire in the distant future. The only other resolution is to remove and re-add those collaborators. So it would be great to have a feature where the admin/owner/co-owner could not only extend but remove the expiration on the folder.

Skills that are configured to fire on 'All content in your company' in the enterprise should fire when I copy a folder with content
We have a skill that is configured to fire on 'All content in your company' in the enterprise, but when I copy a folder with content the skills is not triggered. Skills only trigger at the file level, not on files within a folder that are moved.

Ability that restrict to create a file/folder on the root folder and move/copy to the root folder on Box Drive
.Ability that restrict to create a file/folder on the root folder and move/copy to the root folder on Box Drive if their enterprise set "Restrict content creation"
Currently, we can perform operation create/move/copy in the root folder on Box Drive even though our enterprise set "Restrict content creation".
Of course, the files/folders are marked as problem items, but if we move to the folder directly under the root folder, it looks like they have been moved to the folder, so logging off from Box Drive or replacing with new device due to hardware issue may lead to lose some contents.3 votes -
Reduce file sizes with BOX capture
Please fix the BOX Capture app to reduce file sizes. It is impossible to work from home given how large of files are (they timeout during upload, they are impossible to transfer to DocuSign given the file size, etc.). Even when I change file size to "Small" under settings, the files are huge. I do not have this issue with other scanning apps, however, we have to use BOX Capture for work.
