How to Generate a Report of All Pinned Devices in Your Enterprise
verbatim from the customer: "I just want a listing of all pinned devices to our enterprise account. Support suggested I run this report for ‘devices added’, but it didn’t provide the information I wanted, so I added ‘devices removed’. Is there a SIMPLE way to get a report of all pinned devices?"
Seems that the customer would like to get a report on all currently active pinned devices in their enterprise and possibly be able to generate a report on it.

custom url for embedded widgets.
Hi there,
I ran into a case today where I wanted to customize the URL shown in the embedded widget.
Similar to how you can have a custom URL for a shared link, I was wondering if it's possible to have the same for the embed widget. note, not to be confused with the upload widget.I am not sure how it will play with the upload widget but it would be good if you can customize those too.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Check prerequisite before installation
When running Box Drive without installing Universal CRT, Drive would show an error message "Failed to execute script bfd_main" which is difficult to understand what went wrong.

Use Box as governance layer for content outside Box
Ability for Box to function as federated content viewer (governance) - as some content will remain outside Box. Use Box as governance layer but not storage element.
4 votesWe do not plan to enable Box Governance as the federated policy layer across multiple systems at this time. However, it is possible to use the Governance APIs to enact this if you have another federating system.

Hide/Turnoff Box Drive Error message
With Box Drive, users are getting many error messages pertaining to incompatible file names. Users would like the ability to prevent continued notification since most of these files do not below to them. Possibly could be handled with a [Dont show again] or [Remove from alerts] check box
15 votesYou can disable notifications through OS controls for Box Drive. That being said, we are working on improving error handling in Drive to address the root problems and hopefully lead you to disabling notifications as they are an important part of our UX!

Records Retention Functionality
This is a very old idea that should available for Box users. Dealing with real records retention not retention policies as currently used in Box. Records/Document retention deals with the management of information thru its lifecycle - Records/documents are created, used, store, archived, kept permanently (for administrative, legal, fiscal, and historical reasons) or destroyed. Currently, there is no way to apply records retention rules or schedules to Box, which means that we are only dumping content instead of managing the content based on its value - based on a company's records retention schedules. Present metadata more prominent when selecting a file from a folder file list
Metadata will be shown for a selected file in the lowest level of the Details area. Practically no user knows that metadata exists for that file. So metadata should be presented more prominent, or get an extra area.
