Add a ready to use expiration date metadata (as for classification) so that this value can be leverage to trigger alert or business logic.
Sample of business scenarios where users need to be aware of expired documents:
- contract management

Windows Server 2012 is not supported by Box as only two latest major versions (64-bit) are supported.

the ability to create a New text file with the ability to save the file with a file type extension of .txt, .md, .sql or others from the box web site New button.

Allow users to see the icon of invitees when adding collaborators.
In the current UI, when inviting collaborators to a folder/file, users type the email address of the invitees in the modal. To prevent wrong people from being invited, it would be nice if the inviter could see the icon of the user being invited. I assume this would only apply to inviters who is allowed to see other managed users in this instance.

Ability to see a breakdown of types of API calls being made rather than just total count.
GETs vs PUTs vs DELs etc. Collaboration endpoint vs File endpoint vs Metadata endpoint etc.

Retain user name in comment/ task even after user is removed.
When user is removed, all comment/ previous will be display as "Anonymous User". For customer who rely on comment/ tasks it is confusing to keep track on which account posted what.

Enable SSO through OAuth2 and not only SAML 2.0
We use an in-house IdP. This IdP leverages OAuth2 OpenID. It does not use SAML 2.0
Therefore we need Box to have the capability to enable SSO through OAuth2 and not only SAML 2.0

Ability to allow user to use one time upload widget.
There are use cases where the user would want the customer / external partner to upload files to embed widget only once. When the upload is complete, it shall disable the widget to disallow further upload.
DOX in Japan has this feature.

Box has an open API platform on which all partners can develop integrations. We recommend customers reach out directly to Maximo to build an integration with Box.

The 'Edit User' event does not show which parameter has been edited
Any changes to a user that are displayed in the User Activity report or event log just display 'Edit User'. This means that changes such as name, email, device pinning, enable box sync, share contacts etc. just display as 'Edit User'.

"Expand due date" or "Disable" collaboration expiration date via API.
At this time, once we set "Collaboration auto expiration date" on WebApp, we can't expand / disable auto-expritaion date.
We want to be able to change the settings even after that.3 votes
