Box AI window is blocking underlying document
Box AI currently opens in a windows that covers the file I'm viewing in the browser.
Open Box AI in a new window that I can drag to another monitor so I can still see the file I'm using and better form my prompts/questions for Box AI.

Ability to select specific shared links and delete them all together
Sometimes, users create shared links and then leave them unattended.
As part of our inventory, we delete unnecessary shared links based on the shared link report.
However, in order to delete them, we need to access each file from a browser.
We would like a mechanism to delete multiple specific shared links at once.
If there are multiple shared links in the same folder, I would like the ability to check them off and delete them all together.In Japanese：
共有リンクをユーザが作成した後、放置されていることがあります。
棚卸の一環として、共有リンクレポートをもとに不要な共有リンクを削除していますが、
それらを削除するためにはブラウザから各ファイルにアクセスする必要があります。
複数の特定の共有リンクを一括で削除できる仕組みが欲しい。

Box Sign: Document ID on the header/footer of the document
We would like to add the Document ID number on the header or footer of the documents when we finished signing with Box Sign. We understand that the hard copy is not required as long as the sign is done with Box Sign. But, if we print out the signed document, we can not see any evidence that the signed page is related to the other pages. In the DocuSign, I can see such function.

Enhanced Permissions for Locked Accounting Periods in Box for Netsuite Integration
It would be helpful for the integration to change all permissions to Viewer for transactions in a locked accounting period. This would ensure data retention. I realize we could use "Viewer Uploader", however, accountants need delete permissions (i.e. "Editor") until the accounting period is closed.

preview dst files

Allow Standard Users to Access Reports
It should be possible to grant standard users the ability to run specific reports. It violates the "Principle of Least Privilege" (PoLP) to elevate a user to Co-Admin just for the same for running a report. Please extend privilege levels to allow standard users restricted access to designated reports.

Box Notes Should Open By Default, Not Require Additional Click to Open Button
When leaving a comment on a Box Note, it sends an email to the recipient. When they click the link, the Box Note should automatically fully open.
Right now, you have to click the link, then click an open button a second time to fully access the document. This is both inconvenient and confusing to users who do not use Box Notes regularly.

Box Notes Comments Panel Expanded By Default in Settings
There should be a way to toggle the comments panel expanded or closed by default, within settings, so it is not multiple clicks to expand it each time a Box Note is opened.

Wolkflow faild task delete
Workflows that fail in the workflow "tracking" (do not fly normally) will have a status of stopped, so I would like to see deletion of tasks in the status.

Sort and Filter Feature within In Progress Tasks
My team and I utilize the Task feature heavily and my Task Inbox becomes full. While I can currently filter down Tasks to "In Progress" I really would like to be able to sort my "In Progress" tasks further such as by due date and filter by task assignee.

Ability to share signing link via text message and other apps
Make it possible to send documents to be signed via text messages and other apps, such as WhatsApp, etc. Many of our clients don't have email addresses.
60 votesBox Sign via Text/SMS is not under consideration for the future 2024 roadmap due to other priorities and effort.

Ability to make Excel scripts available in "Box for Microsoft Office coauthoring"
Currently, due to OneDrive for Business requirements, scripts are not available when coauthoring is enabled in Box.

Folder Settings
It would be great if we could go into the folder settings and have a setting for disable move, copy or delete. We would like this on the group folder level only it would not affect the sub folders. So somebody couldn't come in and drag a huge folder that never needs to be copied or deleted, it would prevent that. It would require the folder to be able to do it if the action ever needed to be done

Shield Classification UI option should gray out when user does not have permissions to update classification
If the user does not have access to classify content, they should not get this option to change the classification in shield.

Add visual indicators in UI mapped to metadata - in search results and preview
Problem: There is no visual way to differentiate content types. In the near future, customers will be mass categorizing content with metadata and there should be a way to add visual indicators mapped to certain metadata. That could be folder colors or icons mapped to certain metadata types.
For example - Use folder colors and metadata to visually organize types of content in Box UI.
Possible solutions would be Example: Some ECM customers used to keep personal and enterprise content separately. Personal content may have draft content similar to published enterprise versions of content, but not approved for use. Enterprise or published content would have metadata identifying it as the definitive version of the document. If a user searches Box, there would be no visual indicator of the enterprise version vs the draft content.
