Child Sexual Abuse Material
Apple's recent announcement of measures taken to improve child safety (https://www.apple.com/child-safety/) have raised an important concern about content stored in Box and what measures we can take as an enterprise to address it. While there does not appear to be anything that we can do at this point, perhaps adding a feature in Shield that provides MD5 pattern matching (similar to known malware scanning) that would allow administrators to be alerted when this kind of material shows up in their Box instance.

Include Folder Description in File/folder reports
Due t the large amount of files, folders and collaborators (internal and external) in our organization we heavily rely on folder/file reports to manage content and educate new users about the content layout. Being able to include the "Folder Description" in this report would be TREMNDOUSLY helpful. Is this something you could add in the very near future? Thank you.

Enhance File/folder restoration process
File/folder restoration on Box is a slow and clumsy process. When my end users move/delete large folders by accident and try to restore them, it takes HOURS for it to restore and to my end users, it looks like nothing is happening until the process is complete. This large window of time where nothing seems to be happening further frustrates my end users and they make more changes during the restoration process further making a mess and I have to end up opening a ticket with support to clean up the mess. There needs to be an option, in searching for Metadata attributes which are multi-select, to choose AND or OR relationships between the chosen attributes.

Allow variables for folder name creation
I need to create unique folder names as part of Folder Action outcome in Relay. This could be a simple as appending a date stamp or date/time stamp to the end of the predefined folder name, or use the file name that triggered the workflow as the folder name. Some options for creating discrete files names would be very helpful.

Hide user in autocomplete
Similar to how you can hide users from the GAL in Exchange, I would like the ability to hide certain accounts from the auto complete when adding as a collaborator. You would still be able to invite the user by entering in the full email address.

Smart Access: Allow move/copy even with download restriction
Download restriction restricts external users (editor permission) from moving content within folders they have access to. There should be an option to restrict download but also allow for moving and copying within folders that have the classification policy because to an end user, this is not a download function.

Search by Created Date and Modified Date
When uploading a file by FTP, the Created Date and Modified Date on Details tab shows timestamp from the local PC.
Box's search function only allows to search by Updated Date that is not the date from Modified Date from Details tab of a file, so please add the finction to search by Created Date and Modified Date for FTP uploaders.Possibly, 120 users could be affected by this function change because most of important files are in their local PCs, and it would be really helpful if they could search them by the dates that on their local PCs.

UI display on box links to indicate utility of Box for ECI or CUI
I just noticed the ECI/CUI restrictions on shared Box folders. The fact that I was caught off guard about these restrictions, even though it is very clearly written at the time of requesting a Global Share folder, means I suspect many others LM employees are as well. I am concerned about the potential for misuse, especially the way Box was sold as DX for LM, etc. It seems like ANY shared Box link should have a large, bold banner that says NO ECI or CUI permitted.
Parenthetically, these restrictions make Box useless for all of my programs and projects.

Launch study.ambradicom files on double-click
BOX is retiring their DICOM solution at the end of the year, and replacing it with Ambra DICOM. Study files created by the old BOX solution are named "Study.boxdicom" and can be launchd into the BOX DICOM viewer by simply double-clicking on the filename. This is not true for the new Ambra "study,ambradicom" files. In order to view them, you have to clcik on the triple-ellipses. select "Integrations", and then "View DICOM".
I would like to have the ability to simply double-click on the new "study.ambradicom" filename and have it launch the Ambra viewer.

Ability to have Automatic sorting enabled post file rename
It would be nice to have Box simply update a name after the file has been renamed. As of right now, it's difficult to start on a folder renaming image files, closing out, then coming back in and all of the files have been automatically sorted alphabetically, which is a nightmare for images that have ascending or descending filenames. If we could just save changes as-is and have everything still in place when we log back in after closing out of the folder, that would be very useful so that one could simply pick back up where they left off.

Bring back home directory "mountpoint" on the mac
I don't know if it's just me, or some problem with the privacy etc settings that have been a moving target with OSX lately, but after my latest reboot on a fully updated MacBook I was greeted with a popup from Box Drive saying it is now fully MacOS 12 compatible, and lo and behold, my /Users/app/Box directory is gone. I can only access Box files from the Explorer, but not the command line. I never looked into what the Box drive was exactly, a link, a mountpoint, no idea, but I miss it badly.

It is not necessary to display Notes that are no longer relevant to the user or that they no longer need to access.By deleting the history, only the Notes that are relevant to you will be displayed, which will improve the efficiency of your work in Box Note.

Customize Your Account's Branding | Menu Text Color
Unfortunately you can not change the text color of the navigation/menu box on the left with "Customize Your Account's Branding".
For example: our brand color is a dark green and box.com automatically determine the text color to a dark grey. It looks very dark and weird now, there is any contrast and it is not very reader friendly.
The ideal thing here would be to make the text white, such as on the navigation/menu box from the admin console page, a dark gray background with white text.
