new box layout is worse than old
When you upload long list of images, you can't track any more which one was just opened. It is used to be a bar on left hand side to track where I was last, now not even highlight??? It is going to take me 3x time to find out what was the last image I viewed. So disappointed. Can I please return old layout style, or add the bar to track individual files in each folder.

Ability to remove metadata template that has cascaded down from all children
Similar to removal of Classification from all children items, provide the ability to remove metadata template that cascaded down from all the children. Basically undo metadata cascade.

Set a configuration option to toggle thumbnails off by default
When a multipage, or multisheet, document is opened in Box, the thumbnails are toggled open by default and take up much of the left side of the screen. A configuration option should be offered to allow a user to set the thumbnail toggle off by default.

CCCan't view document full names inn half-screen.
I used to be able to hover over a document name with cursor to see the full name if too long to see in half-screen window. Now I can't.

Custom Support information (including displayed text)
Currently, when you edit support information in the Admin Console (phone number, email, support URL), this is displayed in the "Get Help" section but it is, in my opinion, too rigid. For example, the Support Site URL is displayed as "Help center" in the callout and this cannot be changed to match the language we use internally.
It would be great to customize this "Get Help" callout to customize existing items as well as add additional items to help point users to the correct resources e.g.
- Add an item called "Raise a ticket" so users can click a link to raise a ticket internally on Box
- Rename "Help center" to "Box Guides and Resources"
- Change the link for "Get training" to point to our internal training platform (which includes Box)
- Add an item called "Got a question?" which will point people to an internal Teams channel to ask a general question. etc etc.
This way, users can be better informed about how to use Box within our organisation and where to turn if they have an issue or are unsure about something.

Only allow users to set shared link expiration up to the Enterprise setting limit
When setting up a shared link in Box, we want the user to be able to set the expiration up to the Enterprise setting, but not beyond the Enterprise setting.
A shared link with a shorter expiration time is more secure but less convenient. The security level varies depending on the content, so it would be desirable for users to be able to set an expiration date below the Enterprise setting.
Managed users set expiration dates beyond their Enterprise settings, allowing content to be accessed for unintended periods of time.

Allow group administrators of SSO-enabled tenants to change the email addresses of group members

Decrease the line space between each files on the New UI
Hi team ,
I received a feedback from a client that the new UI made the line spacing bigger and would like to make the line space to decrease to before so that they can see more files in one screen.
Can you please consider this or be able to have option to change the line space?

9 votesThanks for the feedback. We have made this change in order to make it easier for users to read and scan their file lists. While other users have made similar comments when they first saw the change, many of them have also told us they adapted to the change and prefer the new design.

Published Version Indicator
Add the ability to mark(flag) a specific version as "Published" then provide filtering at API and in UI for "Show Published Only" - This is basic capability required for any controlled doc use case, allows for single version tree audit of documents. Should also provide "Was Published" to distinguish between past released and draft versions.

Prevent password reset for managed users
For organizations that require SSO login, we would like to restrict the ability for our users to reset their Box passwords - it causes confusion for our users.

Box Drive icon size
Would like for the Box Drive icons to be bigger again. On the latest version of Box Drive 2.16, they are smaller and that makes it harder for them to determine whether or not files are locked.

Ability to open password protected files from mobile devices
Until a few weeks ago, password protected files could be opened through the mobile app from a mobile device. Now the attempt to open a password protected file results in an error of "Decryption failed. (null). Password protected files cannot be opened from mobile device from m.box.com or www.box.com either (error is different). Seems to defeat purpose of cloud based storage since so many users depend on a mobile device to open view files from Box storage.

How do I change my default email address?
I could view my profile, which shows my email address, but when I go to edit the profile, the email address is not visible to alter! Help, I'm deleting my current email address and have replaced it with another.
