Drag and drop web URLs to Box Drive folder in Windows File Explorer
Posting a request to add functionality to Box Drive that will allow drag and drop URLS from web browsers directly to Box Drive folder in windows file explorer.
Currently, it's possible to store web URLs in Drive if you save them to your desktop first. We would like the ability to skip this step and save URLs directly from Chrome for example to Box Drive.

Include types of virus for Virus alert email
Include which type of virus contained in virus notification alert email. If types of virus includes in alert, admin is able to identify that alert email was accurate.

Allow users to REPLY TO folder invitations
When I invite a user to a folder, they receive an email.
Today the email subject is:
My Name has invited you to work together in "Folder Name"
The From in the email is:
My email address on behalf of My name noreply@box.comIt would be extremely helpful for users to be able to reply directly to the invitation back to me. Instead, the users get an NDR.
We work with several other providers, and their notifications have the reply to: set as the user sending it.

Download notification when opening a file
Currently. Download notification. Opening a file through Drive, which downloads the file on demand, and does not trigger this notification. For example, user A download a file through Drive, Folder owner B doesn't receive download notification although the folderset download notification in Folder settings. Would love to have files/folders in numbered order when more than 9
In some of my Box Drive folders I would like to number the sub folders/files for best structure. So the folder names would be something like: 1. Budget, 2. Production plan, 3. ...... 10. Casting, 11. Marketing, and so on.
But when I have more than 9 folders numbered like this they will not keep in the numbered order. 10 and 11 comes before 2 and so on. This drives me and my coworkers crazy. Is there any way to fix this so that they keep in the numbered order 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11 and so on?1 vote -

Allow @ mentions in NetSuite Integration
The NetSuite integration does not currently allow for @ mentions to work in Box. It would be very helpful to allow NetSuite Box widget users to collaborate this way, instead of having to send an email, slack, etc. to the intended collaborator.
Note- I believe this is because of how NetSuite to Box handles provisioning; NetSuite only checks with Box for a user's permissions when the user is trying to access content. In this use case, the intended collaborator is not signed in at that point and @ mentions only are allowed when they are collaborated into the folder. Collaborating…

Make direct download link names editable
The direct file download link needs to allow for the name to be either changed by the user or better yet... the actual file name. Currently, the direct download link is auto-generated by Box to a random file name (with extension). This function does not work for certain scenarios where you want to host the file on Box and allow for download of a file and retain the filename.

Device Pinning as a condition for "Download Restriction"
Wondering if "device pinning" can register details of devices utilized by the user and allows/disallow the login from it. Why cant it be used as a condition under "Download Restriction". MDM solutions are not yet fully matured to cover all & frequently changing devices types .

Box settings fail to provide needed permissions for those who upload data.
Box settings (limitations) in connection with Anderson Business Advisors are very frustrating. Uploader's should be able to edit what they upload. I have complained about this for two years. The impact is that garbage is scattered all over the site because I can't property rename or reposition files. This causes further confusion and extra communications with Anderson employees. I'm becoming incredulous about this - it seems like such a simple expectation to be able to rename a folder, or move a simply file into a folder after it has been uploaded. Please provide this simply capability ASAP.

Sync between folders within the Duke Box
In one folder stream is “All Files” “Cholesterol Results” and “2019”. In the second folder stream is “All Files” “HC evaluations” and “2019”. I would like to be able to edit the file “All Files” “Cholesterol Results” and “2019” and have the second file “All Files” “HC evaluations” and “2019” update automatically with the same edits. Even though the files are saved in two locations they have the exact same information in them. Instead of going to two location to made changes; I would like to only make changes to one document and the other one updates automatically.

Recover Deleted Accounts by Co-Admin
Would love if Box could provide Co-Admins the ability to recover deleted accounts or folder/files from a deleted account within their own tenant without having to raise a support ticket with Box.

Ability to hide user's edit/upload activity in feed
Box can only hide user's view activity at this moment. The owner would like to hide these activity from any other collaborator.
