Hi I'd like to customize the Admin console start page with reports/graphs that I use often. Right now the Admin console start page is static.

Search Box Community Help articles from the question mark menu in Box Web
Users should be able to search for help with basic Box concepts right from the Web App.
We suggest adding an input field to the Help (question mark) menu in Box Web.
Users can type phrases like "shared link" or "permissions" and get lead to relevant Box community Help articles.4 votes -
In BOX Admin console, when we search for a INACTIVE user, We expect "Change User Settings" page to show some basic information .

Set number of files displayed
Allow a setting so that we can choose the number of files/folders displayed per page so we don't have to click through 4 pages to get to the end.

Ability to open a file in Box Drive from a shared link accessed via the web
After opening a shared link in Web App, a user should be able to open the file directly in Box Drive.

A related feature—the ability to open a file in Box Drive from the web app—is on our roadmap and will be an initial step toward supporting this request. Need ability to migrate workflows between Box instances
For M&A use cases, it's my understanding that Relay workflows cannot be migrated once Box instances are merged - it'd be nice to have this built into the product so that companies that are constantly acquiring other companies (on Box) don't have to worry about losing access to business critical workflows.

Enhance and support the Box Embed Widget for mobile browsers.
We outsource hosting and presenting documents to Box. We allow our users to upload documents in our app and we upload them to Box via API. Later on, when users want to view the file, we ask the Box API for an iframe URL and embed it in our app. So, in the end, no one is logged in to any box applications, because we use the API under the hood.
16 votesThank you for the submission. We are currently collecting use cases and feature requests for the Box Embed widget, and are considering it for update in a future planning cycle. We do not have a timeline for this at present, but ask you to continue to submit feedback here in the meantime.

Warning when moving files into folders with different retention policies
Warn or prevent the user if they are moving a file from a folder with longer retention policy to a shorter retention policy that the longer retention will still hold

Feature Enhancements: Grouped Boolean Operators, CSV Export, and Batch Download
For the Content Manager please look at the following:
Allow grouped Boolean operators, e.g. (“ben phillips” OR “benjamin phillips”) AND (“london” OR “ec2v”)
Currently support only for (“ben phillips” AND “London”)Allow export of full search result list (title, file path, etc) to CSV
Currently just displays search results on screen, paginated to 20 resultsAllow download of all search result content (files/folders) in one zip file

Add an event for file being released from legal hold.
We already have an event for removing the legal hold assignment, but that doesn’t tell us if each of the files under that hold is released from the hold or not.

When deleting or adding members to a group, it isn't clear that the 'Save' button has to be pressed to save those actions.

So, it might be worth popping up a box iwhen a user performs such an action in order to inform the user, when a member is added or deleted, the action will not be complete until the 'Save' button is pressed.

Writing to tags with Skill’s Down Scoped token
I want to display image analysis results for multiple files on the standard Box page.
If you had released Metadata Query feature, I would have fulfilled my request, but you decided to postpone the release of this feature.
So I hope to be able to write to the tags with Skill’s Down Scoped token, not only Skills Card and metadata, because tags are the only means that can display image analysis results when a list of contents is displayed.1 vote -
Folder Tree View in WebApp (Windows Explorer/Finder, eBuilder)
I noticed that Box does not have a high-level folder tree view, except in the 'All Files' page (you click on the arrow next to "All Files"). Many Box folders in my company's folder structure take a very long time to load - however the folder tree view on the 'All Files' page loads quicker, but still not as fast as another application like eBuilder. Having a permanent option on the web application would be very efficient when tracking down files, and load times won't be as cumbersome. Disable Preview Thumbnail feature
It would be good to have a profile setting to disable the Preview Thumbnail feature for my account. The feature should also remember whether you toggle the feature off for a specific file, so you don't have to repeatedly toggle it every time you view the file.

Create Insights-only co-admin permission
Create the ability to give a user a view of the Insights dashboard without having to give them full reporting permissions. Reporting gives specific data on individual users. This requires greater vetting, particularly if your Box instance contains sensitive data. If an executive wants to get stats from time to time, we should be able to provide the view to Insights without giving them that deeper reports view which may require special data clearances.

Allow users to change the default Lock settings. Instead of Unlimited, they should be able to change the default.
