1. Send Signature Request on Behalf of Another User

   Requesting the ability to act as another Box user when requesting a signature on a document. Use case is where an executive needs a doc for signature, and their admin generates that request on the exec's behalf -- the exec name holds more weight, so the ability for that admin to be granted extended Sign privileges to be able to send a request as if they were the exec. This is similar to Zoom's scheduling privileges where a user can schedule meetings as a "delegate" of another user (and the meeting invite looks as if it was coming from the user themselves, vs as the delegate).

2. Implementation of stable access to external shared links (such as app.box.com) in BVE-enabled environments (ent.box.com)

   Currently, when accessing external shared links (app.box.com) from a BVE-enabled environment (ent.box.com), the browser login session is not always properly maintained, and Box may temporarily fail to recognize the user’s account.
   When shared links are used regularly in business operations, having to log in again or switch browsers each time places a significant burden on users and negatively affects productivity.

3. Loop through folders in a folder, and other lists of IDs/strings in a Box Automate workflow

   hi team. any thoughts on when we'll be able to loop through folders?

   (the ability to loop over files in a folder is good, and would be even better if we could have that within a loop that loops over folders)

   some use cases:

   • customers wanting to process files (i.e. move, rename, MDE) in folder trees, involving multiple levels of folders in the tree, and some but not all folders should be included excluded

   • customers wanting to bulk process folders - e.g. loop through folders in folders in folders, and then move/delete empty folders

   • loop through folders and validate certain metadata attributes, for example, whether the case is closed or open or ongoing, and that would then move the folder to an appropriate archive,

4. Enable HTML Rendering in Box Mobile

   Box Mobile should support HTML rendering, consistent with the Box web experience.
   Without mobile rendering, users must download files, open another application, or wait until they can access a desktop browser.
   Enabling HTML rendering in Box Mobile would provide a consistent cross-platform experience and allow users to securely view HTML content directly within Box.

5. I want to open Box Notes in view-only mode

   Currently, in Box Notes, it is possible to switch to view-only mode by changing "/notes/" in the URL to "/file/", but this method is not intuitive for users.

   Because it is not easy to open notes in view-only mode, users often accidentally edit the notes. We would like to prevent this from happening.

   We would like an option to select view-only mode when opening Box Notes from the beginning. It would also be more convenient if it were possible to bookmark Box Notes in view-only mode.

6. Enhancement of the content sorting feature in Hub

   Currently, when placing multiple pieces of content in Hub, you can manually change their order, but it would be more convenient if sorting could be made easier.

7. Reflect Web "Home Page" (Account Settings) setting in the iOS/iPadOS app

   Please improve the Box app for iPhone/iPad so that the "Home Page" setting
   configured under [Account Settings] > [Home Page] on the web app (e.g.
   setting Collections as the landing view) is also applied when logging in
   via the iOS/iPadOS app.

   Currently, the "All Files" view is shown by default on mobile regardless
   of this setting. For users who collaborate on many folders, this makes
   the first screen after login cluttered and harder to navigate, especially
   compared to the web experience where a curated Home Page can be set.

   Aligning this behavior between web and mobile would let users land on
   their preferred view (e.g. Collections) consistently across devices,
   improving usability for anyone managing a large number of folders.

8. I'd like the trash bin status to be reverted to the previous specification.

10. More visibility of 'find and replace' feature

    Regarding the search and replace function in Box Note— beyond displaying it with Ctrl+F, are there any plans to make it more accessible, such as adding it to the three-dot menu (⋯) or another more visible location?
    The end users will find the feature and utilize it if they are not so familiar with shotcuts operation.

11. In the "Folders and Files" report, I want to get the number of contents for each folder.

    When copying or moving content, the process tends to become unstable or more prone to errors as the number of contents in the target folder increases. Therefore, as a countermeasure, there are cases where content is divided into smaller parts and copied/moved multiple times. However, currently, the number of contents per folder, which serves as a basis for this judgment, cannot be obtained from the report.
    It would be very helpful if the "Folders and Files" report could also retrieve the number of contents in each folder.
    This allows you to identify folders with a large number of items in advance, enabling you to plan copying/moving more safely. It is also believed to contribute to large-scale content migration and improved stability of daily operations.

12. Tansfer Form Ownership

    I would like the ability to transfer forms to other users. Reasons below:

    1. If employees are going on extended leave or parental leave and someone else is in charge of managing these forms.

    2. If initial set up is completed by an admin but then continually managed by another team.

    I am told form ownership transferring will be available only on deletion of a user account in a future release but would like it to not be reliant on the deletion of a user.

13. Limit the amount of data a user can delete

    There have been repeated incidents where users accidentally delete large amounts of data from Box Drive. Each time, administrators are required to restore the data.
    However, administrators cannot restore the data until the deletion process is fully completed, and even then, the restoration takes as much time as the deletion, which disrupts business operations.

    We would like to set an upper limit on the amount of data that users (other than Box administrators and co-administrators) can delete at one time, in order to prevent users from accidentally deleting large amounts of data.

    Box forms submissions should be available via export/report to show each submission and it's form responses, as well as info about the submission (who was it by, when, etc.). This would help with tracking specific forms and reflect functionality with similar products.

15. Request to Change Message Sending Shortcut in Box AI

    I would like Box AI to use the Enter key for line breaks and Ctrl+Enter for sending messages.

    Currently, in Box AI, pressing Enter immediately sends the message, which sometimes causes messages to be sent unintentionally while still being written.

16. Sync Box to an external hard drive

    This should go without saying, but internal hard disks are far too small for cloud storage to sync, especially when using the cloud storage for large files such as video editing. We have several Terabytes of data on ours that we access all the time, as a group of editors. It's an absolute dealbreaker that we're forced to use the default location of the local drive to sync files using Box Desktop, and we would like the option of choosing an external hard drive or even a secondary internal drive to sync to. Dropbox, iCloud, OneDrive, and Google Drive all have these options, albeit some are quite complicated to activate, but we're already settled on Box here so we'd like to not have to move to one of those to continue service.

18. I would like to be able to customzie the content preview window side bar

    Once Box AI is enabled it takes the top spot as the default sidebar view in the content preview window. Some of my users would like the Activity Tab to load first, as they depend on seeing comments. Being able to customize the sidebar icons would be great

20. Box Seamless Login Permission Dialog Control. /Boxシームレスログイン許可ダイアログ制御

    With the Box for Office co-authoring feature enabled for the entire tenant, users switch between co-authoring and individual editing depending on their use of macros or eco-solutions.
    However, following the introduction of the seamless login feature, a screen requesting Box access permission appears every time a file is edited, even for users utilizing individual editing.
    To prevent this display, administrators must individually disable the setting from the admin console for users who do not use co-authoring, which increases the burden on administrators.
    Therefore, we would like the ability to select whether to show or hide the Box access screen associated with the introduction of the seamless login feature.

    しかし、シームレスログイン機能の導入に伴い、個人編集で利用しているユーザーに対してもファイル編集時に都度Boxへのアクセス許可を求める画面が表示される。
    この表示が出ないようにするには、管理者側にて管理コンソールから共同編集機能を利用しないユーザーに対して、
    都度無効に設定をする必要があるが、管理者側の負担が増えている。
    よって、シームレスログイン機能導入に伴うBoxへのアクセス画面表示の表示/非表示を選択できるようにしてほしい。
