  1. Box Sign is not certified by the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan

<In order to use Box Sign for registration applications, certification from the Legal Department must be obtained.>

We usually use Box Sign to conduct our business.
We are considering using Box Sign to approve and sign minutes of board of directors meetings, etc., and to submit the minutes signed with Box Sign as an attachment when registering with the Legal Affairs Bureau.
However, Box Sign is not yet certified by the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan at this time, and thus cannot be used in this way.

We would like to use Box Sign for our registration application at the…

  2. Worflow Starter should be the assigner of tasks instead of the creator/owner of Relay Workflow.

A relay workflow is created by one owner but used by several people. Since all the tasks are assigned by the workflow owner rather than the workflow starter, its confusing for assignees. E-mail and task notifications should show the workflow starter's name instead of the owner of workflow.

  3. Box Hubs Admin controlled content access

Ability for an admin to restrict from where content can be pulled into a Hub. This would be to minimize end users sharing their own individual user accounts, and instead only be able to curate content from a department level/service account (or other indicated source).

  5. Box for Teams Content Card Support for Group Invites

We have confirmed that when collaborating as a group rather than as a direct collaborator, the content card behaves differently than described in the article.
After investigating with your company (Box), we were told that content card behavior for group invitations is not currently supported.
Therefore, to avoid confusion for users, we would like you to take the following action.

     【Requests】:
1.The article should clearly state that the operation of content cards for group invitations is not currently supported.
2.In the future, we would like to see content cards for group invitations also be supported.

     【Target article】:
      Using Box for…

  6. Push the recommended Hub

In Box Hubs, we would like to have the ability to push high priority Hubs from the admin side.

Currently, users have to click on the "Box Hubs" tab from the left side of the screen to get to each Hub.
The name "Box Hubs" is not intuitive to the average user, so they almost never access it.
This is the same as the "feeds" that were discontinued in beta.

On the other hand, we would like to have the ability to push Hub recommendations to all managed users or specified gruop.
Specifically, we have the following suggestions

  7. Reports to track Box Relay creation

We need a reporting feature that tracks the status of Box Relay creation.

    Reasons:

1.When a workflow template is duplicated, it is possible to use it without changing its name, which leads to the existence of multiple workflows with the same name.

2.The only way to monitor usage is through user activity logs, which do not provide information on frequency of use or usage status.

3.If workflows created by employees on leave remain unused or incorrectly configured, the transfer process could be omitted.

  8. Editable summary of Hub tile in Hubs gallery page

In Box Hubs beta, in a gallery page, users can see
invited Hubs site , in a each site tile, text is displayed in the tile as a summary or introduction of the site.

Could you consider enabling users (editors, co-owners) to change the the text in a tile?
The text at the top ot the Hub site is dislayed in the tile in the gallery but
Sometimes, the sentence is cutted in the middle.

  9. Hubs: support of Multi Blocks copy

In Box Hubs beta, only single Block (eg: file and folder) is able to be copied in a Hub site, but hope multi blocks are also to be done.

  11. Box Sign: Flexibility of the expiration date of signing log&signed docuement's shared link sent by email

    Box Sign:
Currently the expiration date of signed docuement and signing logs shared link sent by email is fixed like 80 days, or 14 days according to the users Box folder configuration( Open or Closed folder configuration)

Could you consider enable to change the expiration date by Box admin or per sign request?
When having a contract with externals, 80 day-open link which anyone can access is unsecure, so would like to shorten it flexibly.

  13. Georeferencing files and ability to see them on a map

We work on a number of projects that have a physical address. Also we often have to take site pictures. It would be very useful if we could see the projects on a map so we can look for precedents in physical vicinity easier. Perhaps this can be enabled via metadata field where the template can be applied to a folder or a file. Postal address or coordinates would work for us.

  14. Ability to see deleted items only in the trash of the user who deleted them.

In the case that a user accidentally uploads a sensitive file to an invited folder and delete it to avoid the access of others, the folder collaborator with viewer-uploader or above access permission can find it by searching the trash and moreover he/she can restore it.
We need to limit the ability to see deleted items only in the trash of the user who deleted them.
It would be even better if this could be configured in the admin console.

  15. Easily reset the context window

While you remain in the "chat," it appears from our testing that the prior prompts and responses remain in the context window and are used in formulating later responses, which may or may not be desired capability.
Sometimes you need to start fresh, and currently the way to do this appears to be to close the document window or Hub, losing your history.
It would be nice to be able to start a new chat, ignoring/resetting prior context, with a click.

  16. Reference a document (or load one) into a Box AI prompt within Hubs for comparison/analysis using Hub content.

Many of the examples cited in the initial press release for Box AI imply that it can be used for comparison and analysis of documents. While this can currently be done in a limited way in Box AI for documents, comparison is only against the general information contained in the underlying LLM.
Currently, you can paste a maxium of 1000 characters of text, minus the actual instructions in the prompt, for this type of analysis.
It is a critical feature to be able to compare/analyze a document against the private information contained in a Box Hub, not just the general…

  17. Clarity on sources used to provide AI responses within Hubs

From our testing, it appears that responses produced to Box AI prompts within Hubs use a combination of content from the Hub and general information from the LLM. The general content is sometimes contradictory to the actual content contained within the Hub, and often results in hallucinations.
Users should be able to request that responses be limited to Hub content, or citations should be improved to indicate where Hub content was used in a response.

  18. Inline citations for AI responses.

It appears that Box provides 5 citations from the Hub content for almost any prompt to a Box Hub. Sometimes they're duplicated.
But users are unable to determine what parts of the response were produced from each citation. Further, im my testing I have often been unable to find any actual content from the cited document in the response.
Inline citations within the response are critical to validate citations.

  19. Ability to disable channel folder changes by users (including team owners)

Currently, users can change the location of their "Microsoft Teams Chat Files" folder and team owners can change the location of channels' folders.
Due to security concerns, customers want to have the ability to disable folder changes for channels and chats.
